This looks as though it has changed hands recently ordered fish and chips and burger and chips fish was small and mostly batter chips were under done burger was ok nothing special worker was out side having a cigarette severed buy another at the counter guy came in from out side and did our food no washing of hands absolutely stank of smoke will not go back

My one and only chip shop. They know how I like my order completed and they are always happy and smiling when I go in. Won't ever go anywhere else.

Food tastes great, portions size leave a bit to be desired, for the price would expect more, even for just eat syandards it was somewhat small

Cheese burger had no cheese and everything was cold as it looked like the delivery driver did 3-4 other deliveries in the opposite direction to me … very poor experience

I brought chips, curry sauce and battered sausage tonight and the chips weren’t brilliant at all and as for the curry sauce it was like brown water the only thing edible was the battered sausage i wont be buying from here again

This was the second time I’ve ordered via Just Eat. I guess because it’s a Saturday the timing took so long. From ordering to arriving we waited 90 minutes. I was concerned it would be cold or items missing. But everything was there and still hot so great food but beware if it’s peak time.

Ordered meals for five people. Ended up waiting half an hour! Seven or eight people with smaller orders plus an Uber Eats guy were in and out long after I got my order. Chips dry and grotty, only came here because my local chippy was closed. Not very impressed, will not be returning. Highly unrecommended!

The food and service was good but the food was expensive and portion sizes small . I spent over ten pounds on Large Cod and Chips but to be honest it was very small & disappointing. I still felt hungry after and feel it was a waste of money . I know prices are on the rise but I expected better from a local chippy . Will go elsewhere next time ..

Large cod is way too expensive for what it is...too me, it's almost £10 for a small. The sizes of portions are tiny & bill is huge...i've had much better quality of food & price elsewhere, hence, won't be ordering from them again!!!

The chips were hard scrappy like they had been reheated. The fish was nice. I was disappointed as this chip shop is usually ok. I guess I had the bottom of the barrel.

I placed my order at 18.42, it showed delivery as 19.05-19.15. I rang the chip shop at 19.20 to see if a driver was even there. Order has been sitting waiting to be picked up. No driver, yet it still shows as there is a driver on his way! At 19.46 i again rang the shop, no answer. 19.48 they rang back. Confirmed the food had been waiting for over 30mins to be picked up by the driver. I then had a revised delivery and pickup time of 19.55-20.15 The restaurant closes at 20.00 The driver arrived at 20.10 Some of the food was actually even cold. The separate portion of chips with salt and vinegar arrived the same as the rest with nothing on them. I would have walked to the chip shop, it is 5 mins away but the order had already been placed. I could not find a way to contact just eat in any way. Every time i place an order with Just Eat, whether i use my account, my wife’s or as a guest, it gets delayed this way. I am now starting to wonder if there is some marker on the address which auto delays anything ordered? Regardless, i still cannot talk to anyone at just eat, i won’t be using them any further.

This is the third time I've asked for salt and vinegar on my food, this simple request is falling on deaf ears, also the delivery driver rang me I had no idea what he was saying as he couldn't speak English, as it turns out my partner went downstairs and he was at the opposite block of flats, when he took the food out the bag he thought it was a good idea to put it on the floor instead of handing it to her, if these people can't understand English they shouldn't be doing the job!🤷‍♂️

Give her a raise the food is mouth watering sausage in batter is crispy and not too oily I honestly cant stop going here!!!! Great good outstanding service EAT HERE! Xx

Arrived hot, delicious and bang on time, I am absolutely stuffed. Next time I'm ordering the medium fish and chips. Both cooked perfectly, not in the slightest oily or greasy. Not a fan of the curry sauce, it's good quality, just not to my taste. I will be ordering here again. Good chippy is hard to find these days, and I got mine 👍👍👍

A Good fish and chip shop takeaway - & in a box as it should be and arrived nice and warm. Wasn't too greasy and didn't take too long for the delivery . Only fault was that they weren't very giving on the salt and vinegar but overall a very good takeaway
