Best piece of haddock we have ever had from a chippy. Chips okay but not as amazing hence why 4 instead of 5 star.

Excellent freshly cooked succulent fish and perfect chips as always. Only let down by late delivery (it was a Friday night so could have been busy) Delivery driver apologised for the wait. Haddock were huge, batter crunchy, chips perfect and all arrived piping hot.

Crispy batter tasty fish and good chips, sometimes you have to wait a little while but I’ve found it’s worthwhile.

Would be a 5* however I order 1 large cod and 1 small cod both codfish small and same size

food was great , only thing is the chip portion size is a lot smaller now . worth the money still mmm

driver couldn't get in. sorry but I am quite deaf at the moment so couldn't understand his problem.I in the end had to go down and collect it from him

Reading the reviews, I had high hopes for a chippy I have not tried. Maybe it was a one-off, but the quality on this occasion was disappointing. The 2 lots of £5 chips and a smaller portion were tepid on arrival, dry, quite rubbery and left a strange aftertaste. The Jumbo Battered Sausage was unfortunately not the best. Again, might just have been an off day, as every takeaway is entitled to once in a while, but I wont be chancing another £20 just on that thought.

As usual , great food delivered promptly

Absolutely disgusted was told on entering postcode it would be 15 mins delivery. Called restaurant and no one could give me a straight answer on why it went upto an hour and 15 mins was told driver wasn't there but app said he was. Then food came and the pea fritter was over cooked and hard to the point the peas inside were burnt.

Definitely the best chips I’ve had in a while. Everything arrived hot and drinks were cold. Food was delicious and cooked well. The portion size of the medium chips was really good and we had plenty there to feed 6! Highly recommend

Today's review: Used to be the best fish and chips in Southampton, today's delivery was late, cold and the batter on the fish was thin and soggy. Fish and batter are now the same quality as a supermarket. Massive shame and ill be visiting in person to complain. Been a patron since 2016 and unless they bring back the quality this will be the last time.

First time trying. Fishcakes are ok but quite small. Cheese and onion fryits really nice. The plaice was very tasty but very thin. Would order again. Food was ok.

We did not like the chips at all they tasted warmed up as may have been left from lunch time they were not nice at all !

This chip shop used to be lovely but now its under new management its gone right down hill. We ordered chips,pie and battered sausage. The chips were not cooked long enough and were hard and had little taste. The pie was tasteless and must have been a cheap one. The sausage was ok. Will not be using them again.

So ordered three kids nuggets meal to only get 3 nuggets each in there meal . Won't be ordering kids meal from here again as any other place you get 4/5 nuggets in kids meal .

Great portion sizes. Beautiful fresh, moist, flaky haddock in a great tasting batter.

We had delivery whilst staying down at family's, chips weren't fresh and had a reheated , stale taste about them. Soggy battered sausage and curry sauce was tasteless and watery. Only positives were it was quick and delivered, although they weren't willing to deliver to front door and wanted us to meet them-block of flats.
