Excellent food all staff are friendly drinks are fabulous they are very good if you have young children with you a lovely family pub.

Delightful Sunday lunch, excellent standard of food, thoroughly enjoyed. 2nd visit in recent months! Made to feel very welcome - great service by all staff - well done and thank you! Will definitely be back.

Love this place. Excellent service and food. Can’t fault it. Friendly welcome and prompt service. On a hot day we both had delicious salads which were unusual and delicious. Definitely come again

I had the lunch menu, no vegetable was served with the meal which is odd as there were no separate sides to order so you assume it comes with some sort of veg. Wasn't offered any veg. Gammon tasted a bit odd. Dessert was very nice and so was the environment and the service. Would return but probably wouldn't use the lunch menu again and definitely wouldn't have gammon.

Great place to catch up with friends. Busy but good friendly service. Food was all delicious, especially salt and pepper squid and lemon tart.

Great food l, great staff, great atmosphere, dog friendly and a log fire need I say more! Mulled wine right now is a must too!

Sat down in cold restaurant, having to keep winter jacket on for lunch. Ordered a pint of lime and soda only got a half & a dirty burger. When dirty burger came ordered another lime and soda. This drink arrived after I had finished. Fries were lukewarm warm at best and burger was awful. Frozen and overcooked

Delicious food, came on a Sunday and the roasts were fantastic. Excellent service from our Waitress Alice. Would recommend.

I wanted to write this review to express my great experience at this pub, the food was great and waited around 15 minutes which is more than acceptable for the standard of the food. We were waited on by the lovely Rosie who took care of us at all times, this is such a positive trait that we saw especially in a industry that only seems now to attract disinterested individuals. She took the time and the effort to explain to the kitchen about my allergies, she then helped double check and made sure the food came out safely. I hope this doesn't go unnoticed by her managers as she is doing a great job:) keep it up 👍

Booked a table at lunchtime for a group of guys to meet in the evening for a few beers. When we turned up, we were told all the draft bitters were off. No bitters available in bottles either. Went elsewhere.

This venue has a fantastical spread menu, a wide range for all types of food. We were met with a friendly face and shown to our table with a drinks order taken immediately. We loved it here and can’t wait to come back thank you David and the team

Jasmina was an amazing waitress that had all our needs seen too. She was very attentive and A perfect hostess. Would highly recommend her and the maybury.
