Costa Coffee in Woking

I have always had a good experience coming here , it sure can get so busy at times and I see the staff rushed of their feet , but there is never a time where they don’t smile. Coffee always tastes good so happy can’t complain.

No sure it’s a company cutting corners or do as little as possible but when you pay over 4 pounds for a milkshake can at least be done with all the toppings, without the need to push it back and ask to be corrected as the whipped cream is barely there. The staff are lovely ok but this cutting corners it’s starting to push customers away.

Slow service. Dirty tables. Didn't finish my coffee because taste was really bad 🤮🤮 Just free parking is good.

Service very slow and the tables are all dirty with cups and trays. No organisation or cleanliness. Unimpressed

No whipped cream, when they have on offer a limited edition drink “Maple Hazel” and then serve something with half of the items missing I would expect a reduction in the price I pay but no. Didn’t have the heart to complain as the lady serving was lovely. Come in n costa get your act together and make sure you have the stock to fulfil the drinks you are selling.

Went to costa coffee lion retail Saturday PM for coffee and a hot snack,the girl wiped the food residue on the table ,straight to the floor,didn't look like it had seen a hoover in months,the table wasn't especially clean even after that.the service was poor to say the least,a smile might have helped the staff were sullen and looked to have no life in them.with the pandemic still with us I would have expected the place to have a better hygiene standard,will use the goldsworth park costa from now on,cleaner and better servive

This was about our 4th or 5th visit since this Costa Coffee opened up after lockdown. Our first few visits were fine, no complaints at all, but things have changed, and today was very disappointing and worrying. Tables are NOT being cleaned or sanitized between customers. This should be an absolute must in these worrying times. One table in my sight had 3 different customers within half an hour, customers were moving dirty crockery to an unused table, and there was not a sign of a staff member to wipe, let alone sanitize, the table. Very worrying. This is sadly another example of complacency creeping into hospitality businesses, when staff should be maintaining their standards. It's no wonder that this virus is returning again.

I visited this costa as it looked newly built and while the time I was there was short, I was there it looked clean, and the staff were very pleasant and served me quickly. There was a lot of mums with their little ones as it seems like it's a great place to meet up and chat. There is ample parking in this retail park but its free for about 2-3 hours. I enjoyed the croissant 🥐 that I choose as it was filled with raspberry that was a nice change from plain or chocolate. There is a lot of other beverages on offer and the usual sandwiches etc. I will come again if the time arises.

Totally disorganised. Had to eat my hot toastie while waiting in queue for my coffee. Tables not cleared for new guests

Long massive queue, slow service. But the worst for me the coffee do not taste the same as in other Costas. My last experience: they gave me Spiced Cappuccino without coffee shot so I drank only steamed milk with some spiced. Definitely don't recommend. Staff not friendly not apologetic. Also not clean especially toilets. Avoid

This has got to be the dirtiest coffee shop There health and safety standards are non existent, have complained about my visit on there survey and asked to be contacted but no response what a suprise!

The usual Costa facilities, and food and drink offerings but served to customers in a busy environment by staff who seem to be too harassed to provide a smile and courteous service. Queues seem also to be endemic. Perhaps a second server is required for this Costa to help the staff cope better. This is not a Costa I would frequent for peace and quiet. It just seems very noisy.

Massive queue, slow service and the drinks never taste the same as in other Costas...for example the frappuccino is never the same. Definitely don't recommend. That said the staff are lovely.

This is a good place to hang out for a bit, we tried a couple of the autumn specials: the bonfire latte was nice whereas the bonfire hot chocolate was lumpy and just tasted like hot chocolate.

The coffee and cakes are good and prices reasonable . Staff pleasant and efficient. Quite noisy due to nature of fixtures and fittings,

I have visited many Costas and everytime when we buy frostino is lots of ice in the and I need to allows ask if they can put less ice. This time manager told me "don't worry I'll do it for you nice one"And well she did very nice frostino my son loved it so much so do I. Was nice smooth light more like a milkshake. I'll definitely keep coming back from more.

I like costa drinks and food but they are certainly NOT worth the money. I ordered a simple hot chocolate and the worker asked if I would like cream and marshmallows. I said yes presuming they were free as she hadn’t mentioned a cost. But no! Now costa are charging 50p each for marshmallows and cream. So that is £1! A small hot chocolate was £5!! How ridiculous, I think I’ll be trying out Starbucks next time!

Went here for a coffee and cake this lunch-time with friends. Good range of food, assistants were good-hearted in spite of being very busy. One of the better Costa's I have been in, wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Got here at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and they were "cleaning" and wouldn't let customers sit even though no "clean" tables were available. Service is slow and disorganised. Generally a location in serious need of better management

Arrived at around 4pm on a Wednesday for a coffee to find that the card machine wasn't working. Went across the car park to get some cash then returned and ordered 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Was told that everything had to be in takeaway bags/cups as the dishwasher was broken. While I was waiting for my order I noticed people who had already ordered trying to find a table that wasn't covered in dirty cups, plates and rubbish, so I suspect that they had simply run out of clean cups! One little girl actually carried a full tray over to the counter and was told by staff to "just stick it back on one of the tables". Another customer then came out of the toilets to tell them that there was no toilet roll. Again staff just said "ok" but did nothing about it. Got my drinks and had to remind them that I'd also ordered cakes. There were only 2 staff in there at the time and it was very busy, but just too many negatives for my liking.

My wife and I went here with our grandsons to have a coffee and light snack. We selected a table without a reservation sign and got ourselves and young grandsons settled only to be told by a waitress that the table was reserved. We got the grandsons ready to be moved when the waitress returned to say we could stay.

Visited yesterday. Moderately busy but still some tables free, and the outside tables not in use, so not anywhere near full to capacity. When ordering I was told I could only have take away cups because they did not have enough staff on duty to wash up. There was no queue of customers following me, so one could have operated the dishwasher. Yet I was getting it in a paper cup whether I liked it or not.

I went to this café and straight away we were lucky to find a seat because it was busy. We sat next to a wooden barrier that wobbled when anybody walked past or touched it.

Stopped for a bite to eat whilst on a business trip. The food was good, but the staff were brilliant. Great people, with an equally great sense of humour.

Location affects a Costa experience and this outlet is on a retail park. So the mix of customers here is wide. The coffee is as good as ever, though the wait was much longer than normal. The décor is hard, with no soft floor cover, and this means the noise level is very high. One screaming baby is enough to make conversation a challenge, so I'd suggest not a good place to work or meet to chat. Certainly not for business, despite the available wifi. All that said, it does serve a need and is easy to access.

There are lots of places to get coffee from these days. I think what can set them apart is not so much the product, but a warm friendly welcome and great service. The staff here are lovely and made even made my day with a little gift of a cake. This was in return for my sunny disposition. Good coffee and a free cake? Yes!! Great day ahead!!

What a great Costa coffee shop! Located on the retail park and ideal for your morning caffeine hit! Friendly staff with a welcoming smile and plenty of seating. There's the added bonus of outside seating too! Perfect for business or pleasure. Will definitely be back!

Já sabíamos que era uma típica cafeteria de rede, mas o local nos surpreendeu pelo sabor tanto dos lanches salgados, quanto pelo bolo de cenoura. O chocolate quente é tamanho médio é gostoso e muito grande. Dá para pedir o pequeno tranquilamente

Some costas are hit and miss (Waterloo for instance), but this one is a good one. Not only are they good at remembering their regulars, they are very efficient at getting the orders through. Enjoy my visit here

Nice atmosphere. Easy to park and pop in. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious. Tables usually clear and clean. Pastries are a bit pricey.

Having recently completed my CPO course locally, we spent a lot of time in here grabbing drinks for the principles. Service is always good and the wait is never very long.

I come here most weeks as near to where I live. Staff are great, service is always quick and they often go the extra mile. Great parking and location what's not to like!

Tea was great, service was great, very clean but air conditioning very cold. You could move around to not be neat the air con which I did.

Fast service friendly staff always seems busy but don't seem to have to queue up for long coffee is always hot and tasty best place for coffee in Woking.

As it is located inside of a retail park, very easy to park my car anytime, but it is not good cafe to work with laptop due to no plug near tables.Internet signal and wifi service is not also good inside cafe, so usually I visit here just for take away to being a coffee during shopping ASDA, Argos, and other retail shops.

Good location with a few local stores. As with all Costa's good coffee, rich sweet hot chocolate and decent cakes

Nice place to stop for a coffee. The staff are all helpful and relaxed despite the controlled chaos. I am yet to see this place anything less than busy. I always ask for kids temps as I find their drinks scald my tongue.

If I want to relax I go to costa coffee shop. I love the hot chocolate drink. I also love their summer drinks. The service is really good. The sandwitches are yummmmy but a little bit pricey.

I have been here a few times. The store was opened in 2014 so is still relatively new, but it out does the other Costa's in this area. The staff are friendly, polite and despite being very busy, very engaged with their customers. The gentleman who was introduced as the assistant manager was on the coffee machine and was very efficient and served with a smile. The only snag I had was with one member of staff who seemed to just be standing behind the bar and not really contributing to the whole team-it had been my place of work this young lady would not be standing there. The store is clean and comfortable, wheelchair accessible and with a fair amount of floor space for movement despite the numbers buggies that make their way there. Coffee is coffee-all Costa's serve the same so if you know Costa you will be fine here. Pretty much the customer service is the pull for visiting this store.

Enjoyed a relaxing latte here on Monday with my husband and Aunty. Went at lunchtime and there were plenty of tablesfree, only snag was that the one sofa was unavailable so maybe you can get some more sofas please? Staff were very friendly and made our drinks promptly. Tables and seating areas were clean and tidy. The shop obviously is new but hygiene standards are high and commendation to the staff for that. Will definitely be returning again! Thank you

Had a very relaxed coffee in the local Costa, the atmosphere was lovely as were the staff, and the food was very yummy! Not usually busy - so if you're looking for a nice Costa try this one!! ;)

The coffee is usually first class in all costas but they are particularly friendly here, the cafe is always clean.

Well the answer is I don't know! I was the first one in the queue but after 10 minutes I still hadn't received it. When this bloke behind me got his order before me I asked where my order was the lady was apologetic but proceeded to make the order she was already on. At this point I walked out and all I can say is that CostaYou can keep my £1.80 you won't be getting any more from me.

This relatively new outlet is handy for the shops in the Lion Retail Park, and we have used it a few times now. The staff are friendly and efficient; its by-and-large a standard product, but the staff make up for that with their cheerful manner.
