This is possibly the worse indian food I have eaten or experienced. I don't think I could even call it that. Just horrid. Not parts but all.

The worst indian restaurant i’ve ever been to in my life. Rude staff who will pester you every minute without sarcasm. And very pushy. Fatty meat and expensive. Staff lie and tell you it’ll cost £32 and it’ll cost £65+ between two people that literaly shared a rice and got basic food.

We had booked a short break in York over New Year, and reserved a table for our party of 6 for New Year's Eve. As the reservation had been made on 3 October, we checked the day before, to confirm our attendance. There's nothing to say, other than we had a great experience, with food and service absolutely spot on. We don't live locally, so are unlikely to visit again soon, but if we lived nearby we'd be regulars. Excellent in all respects

Really nice venue, great tasting food and good service. Even offered a complimentary Irish coffee at the end of the meal. Best Indian meal I have had for some time

Visited this evening for the first time as a family to celebrate my nephew’s birthday- absolutely great service and such a lovely restaurant - very busy when we arrived and can see why - we all had something different from the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their well presented tasty meals - will definitely be returning

Absolutely love this place! We live in Lincoln but we have family in York regularly and this is the only Indian takeaway that I like, won't get takeaway from any where else. The food is delicious - my personal favourite is lamb bhuna, but other family members have tried chicken tikka masala, dupiaza and the garlic chilli chicken and everyone said the same. Really highly recommended

Food for three delivered, 3 Currys all mixed together, cold aloo, was told 45 mins to an hour for delivery and was 1 and a half hours late, drive had no change and very unprofessional and rude

I ordered on Deliveroo. Service was brilliant, and delivery was prompt, particularly as it was during the heatwave and lots of other restaurants were experiencing (understandably) delays. Great value for money. I had prawn purée for starter, then chicken pathia with veg pilau and peshwari naan. All absolutely delicious. Not had a delivery from Indian Ocean before but will absolutely be ordering again. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
