Marvellous desserts. The cakes and cupcakes are splendid. The food is so good. The bakery/cafe is wonderful. Would recommend.

Excellent friendly service from Dillon or Dylan I’m not sure on the spelling but he was so lovely! Very knowledgeable on all the cakes, and was very patient with our indecisiveness with which cupcakes we wanted lol!

Beware the black bottomed cupcake. It was so incredibly salty it was inedible. To the extent that I assume someone added salt to the cheesecake mix rather than sugar. Unfortunately it was a bit out of the way so I couldn't really return to complain. The other normal cupcake I got was fine.

im a huge bakery fan, and this place is great, perfect sugar point in all the things, variety and similar prices as EL&N, really enjoyed.

Awful customer services. We needed cakes for a birthday party and received no response. Ruined the birthday with lack of customer service. Do not come here.

Nice bakery but delivery service needs improvement. No tracking available for orders placed online so wouldn't recommend this bakery for surprise orders. Considering the cakes are quite expansive I would expect a better delivery service... it's hard to plan ahead

They have ridiculous opening times. Something like 11am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Nonsense. I only got the chance to eat there once and it was not all that good. We had a red velvet and an espresso. The cake was way too sweet and the coffee was too sour. The staff is not too friendly but the place is quite nice and smells like cake. Wouldn't recommend.

I popped in at lunchtime to buy/order a birthday cake. They said that I missed the 12pm cut off for tomorrow's orders. Their website advertises same day delivery!! I offered to buy any spare cakes - they said there were none! In the end I had to choose 12 cupcakes, only to go to the till where they realised their card machine was broken and I could not pay! Any other decent store would have found an alternative or say it's on the house! The employees were just standing there looking at me!! Very rude.

A really wonderful coffee and cake shop! Huge portions of the most decadent cakes, (or individual cup cakes) and great coffee to go with it. Very friendly and passionate team who work there. They are doing their best in these covid times to keep the place open and safe for everyone, with some tables outside. If you deserve a treat this is the place to go!

I have been here so many times and tried many of their cakes. Service has always been great and orders have always been ready on time and exactly as ordered. Consistent baking and good service. Not cheap but worth the prices.

Hummingbird undoubtably makes beautiful cupcakes and it’s always hard to choose which one to order (although I usually do stick with the red velvet!). However, I do think that their service can be a little hit and miss - and their cupcakes do tether on being too sweet. That being said, their frosting is some of the best!

Today we visited this branch of Hummingbird Bakery and have come away feeling embarrassed and humiliated. Upon walking into the bakery, 3/4 members of staff stood behind the counter - none greeted us or asked how they could help. I asked if there were any gluten free - a member of staff pointed to the red velvet and said only these and just stood staring back at us. I then politely said, oh no its okay thankyou - as I much prefer the vanilla, which was not an issue. I then asked for a slice of carrot cake to take back for my partner. The same member of staff then said "are you allergic to nuts". I replied "no, but its not for me. but it will still be okay thankyou". My sister and I both then saw her roll her eyes, smirk, turn her back and laugh as she boxed it up. I was then going to ask for another product but she proceeded to the tills waiting for me, so we did not want to buy any more.  At the tills, she dropped the box (no doubt squashing the cake) and laughed as she put it back in front of us - slightly annoying when it is a gift for someone. She then told me the price, pointing to the card machine, no eye contact or any remote pleasantries or customer service - other than the smirking and giggling. As we turned to leave, the staff member and another colleague looked us up and down, watching us walk out of the shop whilst laughing.  We feel very confused why we were treated like this, extremely self-conscious and both in agreement we will not be returning to Hummingbird in the future.  You should be disappointed in the appalling customer service and what felt like being bullied/picked on in school. As a business, I would be ashamed to have the staff I experienced this morning as the face of my company.

Wir haben uns einen Cupcake für 3,95£ geholt und ein Stück Kuchen für den selben Preis. Der Kuchen war ein wenig trocken, abee der Cupcake war sehr lecker. Der Service hat uns gratis Kerzen gegeben, weil ich Geburtstag hatte.

Never had a bad cake from here. Service is professional, the cakes are delicious, choices are wheat, vegan wheat, and gluten free- not vegan gluten free though. The icing is the best ever. Try them, you'll love them.

Extremely dissapointed that Hummingbird Bakery are not aware of the nutritional measurements within their cakes (including calories) and were only able to tell me if they contained any ingredients that one may be 'allergic' to. The website also doesn't give this information which is really rubbish for a chain bakery that charges above average prices! Come on, this is 2019! Informing your customers of what is in your food should be priority!

We shouldn’t but We did - eating a cupcake just before We head off for dinner. Still it was so worth it. Wish We try to Rainbow cake but there were too many choices. We had 3 cupcakes there. Just before We left, the Ladies were so sweet to give us 3 cupcakes to go for free. Thank you so much.

This is primarily a bakery with a very small seating area for those who want to eat in. There are no customer toilets available. The staff are lovely. The cakes are delicious. The price is rather expensive.

I travel from South London to visit this branch of Hummingbird, because it is always consistent. The red velvet is amazing and the Lemon and raspberry cake is also amazing, the cupcakes are good too. This is my favourite bakery in London so far !
