Absolutely amazing place where the food is incredible; home-made and delicious! The atmosphere is so friendly and fun due to its quirky uniqueness and setting in a beautiful church and very much a community-vibe which is so rare these days. It's worth noting that at peak-time it was incredibly busy, but the volunteer-led staff were fantastic. I personally don't mind waiting for quality but may not be the place for you if you're more of the smash-and-grab type of diner. Wonderful- cannot recommend enough for those who appreciate great food and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A disappointing visit as it had been highly recommended. Staff shortages meant that we had to wait 45 mins for a bowl of soup and a ploughman's. The staff were apologetic and the food when it arrived was of a good standard but the wait spoilt the visit for us.

Cracking place to stop and have lunch. All food homemade and wholesome. Had a beef roast for £9 and to say it was delicious was an understatement

Went on a Saturday morning with friends for breakfast which is held once a month in the church. Very warm welcome by all the staff. The service was quick and efficient and the food was 5*. It was freshly cooked and well presented. Will be back.

This place is a little gem, fully staffed by volunteers, who were lovely. The food was fresh, home made and reasonably priced. Dog friendly, and the church setting gives a special atmosphere

What a lovely place to stop with friends and have a spot of lunch. Quality food, had the roast pork lunch which was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Could not resist the dessert which was homemade sticky toffee pudding. Beautiful surroundings and served by a team of friendly volunteers. Will definitely return when in the area again.

Always lovely friendly staff ready to accommodate everyone’s needs. Food is always delicious and usually homemade (with food for vegetarians/gluten&dairy free). They are very covid secure and the takeaways/deliveries during the second lockdown are as professional as sit-in meals. Would always recommend!

We had a delicious takeaway lunch fromThe Hub Cafe today, soup, toasted sandwich, cheese scones and cake all home made. It was beautifully presented as usual and served by the usual welcoming, helpful staff with their lovely smiles. We can really recommend a visit, they are open from Tuesday to Thursday from 11am to 3pm

A wonderful place for a coffee and cake. A really great way to create a community place in the local church. Good food and friendly welcome. Wish there were more places like this.

We found this place by chance, and are most glad to have done so.The locals have very cleverly adapted what seems to be a Norman church, into a venue which is attractive to all, religious and secular.Food and service were both excellent, the church can still be used for Chritian services, and the space allows for other activities as well.We shall return.

Based in a lovely old church, the cafe is run by a lovely lady and her volunteers. It serves simple meals and cakes with a variety of drinks, on Tuesday to Friday between 11am and 2pm. A peaceful, lovely place with very friendly people. Free car parking by the church. Look at the 2000 year old Yew Tree in the graveyard whilst you are there.

Everything about this place is a delight. All the staff and volunteers are so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and I can particularly recommend the leek and stilton quiche. We followed up lunch with coffee and cake and the lime and ginger cake was fantastic. However The Hub is more than just a cafe and I think it's this that adds to the atmosphere within the cafe. There's a real sense of community and purpose which gives it a unique feel. Although it was our first time there it won't be our last. We were welcomed like old friends returning home and it feels like there's something special going on there! Well done to all concerned!

We found The Hub on the last day of our holiday! It is run in the local church and we parked in the nearby car park. We had the most delicious homemade cakes and lovely coffee. Various drinks were on offer. The girls serving were so welcoming! We loved our time there!

Visited the Hub Cafe a few days ago after missing out earlier in the year. Although the cafe was quite busy our party of seven was made extremely welcome with tables quickly set out in the churchyard to accommodate us. A variety of food was ordered and everybody remarked how much they had enjoyed their meal. Partakers of the Quiche Lorraines were particularly impressed. The friendly service and polite attention to our requirements was a lesson for some commercial undertakings!!

First visit to the community cafe today and received such a warm welcome and great service. Nine of us arrived together for mid morning coffee and we were served promptly. The range of cakes was good and a quality coffee was served (a must for a discerning cyclist!). The community hub set within the church clearly provides a great service to the community and the juxtaposition of modern and traditional architecture for me made the atmosphere of the venue much more special. Only open four days a week but an excellent cycling destination for the Golden valley area.

Such a find! This cafe is run by volunteers in Peterchurch Church. Its a beautiful space so tastefully done and the food is just lovely. We were in a group and had a variety of things from homemade chocolate brownies to paninis and everyone was thrilled. Highly recommended friendly cafe & gallery.

I’ve visited here several times and always had the warmest of welcome and the most delicious food. They serve light lunches, paninis, soup, quiche etc and the most delicious selection of cakes, all home made. There is an outside space in the summer plus a box of toys for children. It’s been really tastefully converted and a great use of the church space. Highly recommended.

The welcome here is amazing, all ages. Look out for the church spire - the hub cafe is in the church, which has been beautifully refurbished. And its warm :) even on cooler days. Lovely food, home made cakes and soups, and other lunch time goodies which are absolutely delicious. I had jacket potato and salad today, but have been before and had lovely quiche salad, my hubby loves their paninis.

Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.
