I have been here twice recently. The Sunday lunch was excellent, meat succulent and beautifully cooked vegetables. I have also had a pizza here and again it was excellent. It is a lovely pub in nice surroundings and the staff are very welcoming. Best restuarant in the area.

After being let down by another local pub/ restaurant, a quick phone call and Dawn, Nicki and team soon accommodated us at a very short notice. The food was top draw as was the atmosphere and most definitely the staff who were amazing. I can only thank them on behalf of my family for looking after us all even though I was given some friendly grief by them both 😂😂

Came to try out The Horns for lunch as we live locally. It looks very smart as it has been recently decorated. Loads of menu choice and the portions are generous. I had an amazing gluten free pizza and my partner had a sandwich which could have fed an army. The ladies serving us were absolutely lovely. Will definitely return.

Pub itself is ok. Food is fine. We had a very nice lunch before setting off on a short walk to see a lovely little waterfall a few minutes from the carpark. On our return we were told we should have left put details with the pub if we were walking (no signs saying this btw) . I explained we had a meal in the pub but she did not believe us and said they have cctv and "it’s on your own head" like some veiled threat. The incident left us with a sour taste at the end of what was a fine afternoon. A absolute shame and now we won’t be going back. The brusque tattooed lady in question needs a serious attitude adjustment. Customer service re-training required.

We visited the Tuesday just gone and the week before, both times service was brill and the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. We were informed of track and trace system upon entering, with our table being freshly cleaned before being seated. Drinks came straight after ordering and although the food was a little wait, we all thought it was perfect as to how we would have liked it! We will definitely be coming back once back open ☺️

Upon entering we were greeted by black eyed peas blaring out of the speakers, I thought this was odd but as it had only just turned 12pm I thought maybe the staff had been listening to upbeat music whilst setting up for the day. However this style of music, including continued throughout the whole meal rather loudly. It felt like a teenagers disco not a county pub! Our waitress was very efficient and quickly took our orders. I ordered lasagne as you can’t normally go wrong with a traditional dish...or so it would seem! The waitress asked if I’d like chips or mash with it which I thought was bizarre, do people really eat mash with lasagne?! When it arrived it had a very thick layer of burnt, grilled cheese on top. After managing to work my way through this I found that the only pasta in the dish was one layer under the cheese crisp and a few pasta twirls mixed through the mince, definitely no layers! It was bland, poor quality mince. It also had a few weird added ingredients such as cabbage and carrot! I’ve never come across this in a lasagne! It was inedible. I explained the issue to the waitress but she didn’t seem overly surprised or apologetic. It then took nearly 30 minutes to receive the bill once we asked for it. Overall the kitchen has a long way to go to get there standards close to what it use to be

No need for a bad review here, but certainly room for improvement.Service was fine; staff were friendly, polite and had the correct Covid measures in place. There was a young lad in training that brought the drinks over on a tray like he was balancing a 4 tier wedding cake but no problems there. The food, however, needs some fine tuning. I opted for the potato skins to start, followed by the chicken and ham pie. The skins were bland and served with some salad leaves that had no dressing. My bbq sauce never turned up. The pie was OK, pastry nice, just lacked a bit of juice. The chips were slightly under done, needed a minute or so longer in the fryer. We asked for 3 portions of onion rings, although only one turned up.I was surprised they had no bottles of prosecco or champagne. My friends and I wanted a bit of fizz to finish the night off. Would I go back...maybe

The Horns has been a favourite pub of ours for the last few years, there’s nothing better than an autumnal walk around the Chase followed by some lunch and a pint in the Horns. The Horns has recently been taken over so we were hoping it had retained its charm,We arrived just after 12.30, the social distancing measures are good, as you would expect with hand sanitiser and track & trace available. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table, our drinks arrived in what seemed like 10 seconds and the beer was great! I feel The Horns has always struggled to get the food right. So I was pleasantly surprised they have decided to go down the traditional pub grub style and I was hoping it would be done well! I did struggle to talk to my partner whilst deciding what to eat as there was loud pop/dance music pumping in my ears. (The music really didn’t suit the pubs charm at all!)I ordered the bourbon chicken, my partner had the beef lasagne and they let us order off menu for our 3 year old (I was surprised the kids menu didn’t have sausage & chips) Our food took a while to arrive but we were fine with that as they seemed unexpectedly busy and possibly short staffed? My bourbon chicken was chargrilled as it stated on the menu, however there seemed to be only a tablespoons worth of the bourbon sauce hidden underneath a piece of bacon with cheese that looked as though it could have done with a little more time under the grill. The salad that was with my dish had all sorts thrown in (not a problem). The best part of my meal was the chips, they were really good!!My sons sausages were tasty and his chips were also great, his beans on the other hand looked as though they had been nuked (microwaved) multiple times, perhaps the chef opened a tin of beans and just reheated them for each dish until they were gone? The real issues were around my partners “lasagne”. The mince beef was obviously frozen mince (grainy, bitty & lacking the texture of fresh mince) again I don’t have an issue with that but at over £10 you’d expect fresh minced beef. There was a decent amount of cheese on top but there didn’t seem to be any béchamel sauce in there? Famously a lasagne Is layered using pasta sheets however we could only find 2 sheets of pasta. However, what the lasagne was lacking in pasta it made up for with other strange additions, mushrooms, cabbage, peppers & carrots to name a few! I couldn’t help but wonder if this was left over veg thrown into the mix just to bulk it out? I’m not being critical just for being critical sake, I know how hard the hospitality industry has been hit by the Covid situation and I also know how hard everyone works in the industry having spent the last 15 years in the industry myself. I also know that if the Horns could master top quality pub grub with the charm of the location & interior then they would see huge success! Overall the pubs charm is still there, the atmosphere needs work (change the music!!). I feel the menu is ok but the food was lacking finesse & quality, it felt like the food would suit a cheap Marstons pub, nothing wrong with that but If I wanted cheap Marstons food I would go to Marstons, not a cosy privately run pub in the middle of Cannock Chase. We will return for drinks but I’ll steer clear of the food unless it improves.

Two meals were eatable, two were disappointing. The waitress didn't impress, with unsuitable comments. The place was very disorganised. Didn't see much hygiene or cleaning going on. Table wasn't cleaned before eating and the service was poor. Wouldn't recommend or return. Food wasn't fresh just frozen, supermarket food, warmed up.

Booked a week ago for Sunday dinner for 2. Turn up today no booking and hastily put on a table meant for 6. Order roast x 2 with extra gravy. Food arrives and staff quickly disappear with no spoons to serve veg and not offered any salt/pepper/mustard etc and no extra gravy as ordered. Grab a member of staffs attention and partner asks for mustard and horseradish - server has to go and ask what horseradish is! In fairness the food was lovely. Then order sweets - two sponge treacle with custard - avoid. Dried out Swiss role (they did remove from bill). Explained issues to owner and Dawn came over to discuss. Very defensive and basically stated only week 6 and up to customers to order sauces! Explained when we requested extra gravy that didn’t materialise. Also stated they bought in the sweets and that’s what the supplier call them - Dawn admitted to never trying. Felt mixed about meal before speaking with Dawn and afterwards felt the need to write this review. Shame as we supported on opening night, were in on Friday for drinks and were looking to book on Xmas Day. Think will give the place a miss until the New Year when might have completed training and offer a good level of service

Gorgeous food but be prepared for your gorgeous food to go cold while you wait..wait for the vegetables..and then the spoons for the vegetables..and then the sauces..and then the condiments..and then finally you can get stuck in!Why couldn’t the sauces and condiments be placed after we had ordered before the food came? I realise we are in a pandemic and they can’t already be on the table beforehand but they could certainly be placed while the food was being prepared. Why should it all be a mad rush whilst the food was on the table. Also dear diners, please be prepared for no one to have a clue what the vegetarian roast dinner option is! Indeed the answer back from the kitchen was “liver and onions!” So glad that plant based diners are the butt of jokes for you. You really need to keep up with the times. We were hosting guests from Cornwall and, after a beautiful walk across the Chase, had really impressed upon them what a wonderful place we were taking them to fir Sunday lunch but it was all a bit embarrassing really. Please improve on the service, including NOT pulling down a face mask when talking to customers. Rather, turn down the music a little. Your industry is taking an absolute bashing at the moment, even more reason for everything to be amazing and for you to shine.

After reading good reviews and speaking to friends who'd been, we decided to visit. I'd had an upsetting week, so my husband treated the three of us to cheer me up. The pub was busy and there was a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were put on a large table for 8 people that was in a cupboard. Would probably be a nice private dining area if there were more of you but we just felt a bit shut out and couldn't see any other diners. It wasn't the end of the world though and we were looking forward to homemade proper pub grub. The service was ok considering it was busy. Two starters came out initially and although they were presented nicely, they were disappointing. The bacon on the potato skins was more fat than bacon and there was not much flavour. The peppercorn mushrooms had very little sauce (as described on the menu) and the stilton DIP turned out to be a blue cheese dressing lightly drizzled on the plate (not enough to be able to dip). The third starter didn't appear until we'd nearly finished ours. We did try and alert someone prior to this but with COVID regulations and being in a cupboard, this wasn't successful. The third starter was chicken coupons. These were sent back as they were so dry and overcooked, it was difficult to chew or swallow and most got stuck in our teeth (two of us tasted them). This starter was eventually knocked off the bill but only after the manager checked with the chef that he agreed it was overcooked. Clearly, our opinion wasn't enough. Never had chicken so dry and chewy! The mains came out and it went even more downhill. Luckily, my son's meal was ok as he was quite hungry due to no starter and quite a wait between courses. My lasagne was presented nicely although being on a board made it difficult to eat. However, after I'd got through the melted cheese crust, it was just a bowl of minced beef and tinned tomatoes. There was little seasoning or taste, no layers of lasagne (just a few thin pasta ribbons) and no sign of any sauce at all. More got left than I ate unfortunately. I usually clear my plate but not this time. My husband had ordered Cottage Pie but what came out was Chicken Shashlick! The waitress immediately noticed her mistake and apologised. My husband ckykd either wait 20 minutes for a cottage pie or eat the Chicken Shashlick at a discount. As we'd already not been able to all eat our starters together, he opted for the chicken but was disappointed. His chicken was nice and tender but not overly warm and the sauce was disappointing. We expected homemade but it was clearly Crucials Mint Yoghurt like you get at the kebab house. The manager came over to say she'd knocked £5 off the Shashlick and made an excuse about the till system having changed and the waitress pressing the wrong button and how busy they were. A heartfelt apology rather than an excuse would have been a better way to approach things. The waitress who'd made the mistake actually handled it better. From reading the responses to the more negative reviews on here, it seems that excuses are used a lot rather than apologies. We understand that things can go wrong and we clearly were unlucky but how it's handled can make a big difference. We so wanted it to be good and we weren't after fancy food, just nice hearty home cooked food but we came away very disappointed and won't be returning. Just spoken to some friends that have also visited over the weekend and it seems they also had issues with things being forgotten etc. so ours wasn't an isolated case. I hope the pub does well as it's what the village needs but we won't be returning to eat.

Good food, so much better than the last owners, a big improvement, but it seems the service is still suffering. Waitress was pleasant, but had to wait for drinks, had empty glasses on the table for a good 15 minutes before i didn’t want to wait anymore, broke COVID rules and went to the bar and asked for more drinks. The mains were good, steak was nice and the the chicken was very good. Kids then wanted dessert, then it quickly went down hill, 45 mins wait and had to ask twice to check, was ready to pay the bill without the desserts but they magically appeared. (They blamed it on a power cut, but that power cut in the kitchen was seconds before I asked for the bill) Completely ruined my experience after my first time back since the new owners, doubt I will rush back as a Rugeley local.

I've read a few reviews for the pub/restaurant both positive and negative and have to say the negatives I've read have been pretty petty however I do have a couple of issues. They are:I ordered a sirloin steak, partly my fault, I meant to order a fillet purely because I don't like fatty meat. However I did feel there was too much fat on the steak I had.The other is the serviettes. This is a bug bear of mine. I hate cheap serviettes. I go out for a meal as much for the experience as the food. Iunderstand cloth ones are too expensive but please use a better quality paper serviette. So that's the negatives out of the way now for the positives:My starter of mushrooms in a pepper sauce were very nice - tick. The steak was cooked perfectly - tick. The rest of my meal was cooked well - tick.My wife had the sword fish which along with the roast vegetables, she said was the best meal she'd had out in a long time and we eat out quite a lot.We haven't got to desserts yet but I'm confident they will be delicious.

First of all, it hasn’t had a complete refurb, as some people seem to think it has. It’s just had a lick of paint on the outside and a general tidy up. The inside is still the same as before. Those scaffold boards need to go now. They were a novelty a few years back when it did actually have a complete renovation and refurb (all of us regulars will remember), but now it feels like you’re in your grandad’s shed. It needs soft colour tones with more ambient lighting. Also, new tables and chairs would be beneficial. It needs to look like a dining room, not a YHA canteen. Have a look at the what the Wolseley Arms have done with their fairly recent refurb. I have visited this weekend for the first time since the re-opening, and was looking forward to it after hearing good things. My experience was not the best, with a long waiting time for my starter, and then the soup was lukewarm but still flavoursome though. It did come with an off the shelf bread roll (perhaps homemade bread would be a nicer touch). I had the beef next, which came moments after finishing my starter ( i do prefer a longer gap of perhaps 10 mins), still, it was very sweet and tender, slightly pink which i like and accompanied with a good choice of greens. The roasties were lovely aswell. Hopefully, the new owners are just having a few teething problems and still finding their feet aswell, because this place can be better. Its location is ideal. As for the decor, these kind of things can be remedied over time. I only write genuine reviews that are my personal thoughts and viewpoints. I eat out quite regular and support local pubs and restaurants. There are better places than The Horns, but there also many that are not as good. Given time, i’m sure The Horns can reclaim a high standing. This review is not meant to be negative, but honest and constructive. Im hoping the owners will take a positive view of this.

Finally ordered food and drinks after being in there for 30 minutes! We sat with empty glasses whilst waiting for food with staff asking all around us if any drinks were needed but we were ignored! Food finally came presented well but all steaks were heavily seasoned with salt which was overbearing. We understand restrictions are in place which make things a lot harder but we seemed to be ignored for all of the time we were there.

I am so happy to see The Horns thriving once again following a period of mismanagement. Walking into the spotlessly clean car park we immediately noticed the immaculately maintained greenery and the freshly renovated building. My wife and I both said that we hoped the food and atmosphere was as good as the outside. I can say without reservation that we were not disappointed. We received a warm and friendly welcome and felt extremely comfortable with the way that all members of the staff were adhering to the latest Covid measures and restrictions thus ensuring customer safety. The service was slower than it would usually be but this is completely understandable in the current situation that the whole country is facing. I must say that the staff politely kept us informed of any delays with our order. It was worth the wait, the quality, presentation and portion size exceeded our expectations. I have eaten in many establishments all over the world and The Horns is up there with some of the best. We were very impressed (the chips are amazing) and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely thrilled to see our local pub back open and thriving now as under new management. The menu is fab there is something for everyone and very reasonably priced too. Our three meals were delicious, piping hot and service was very prompt and friendly. We couldn’t resist desserts when we saw the menu even though we were full and they didn’t disappoint either. Would highly recommend - and will be visiting again soon. Thank you.

I am writing this with huge disappointment. I had heard two reviews which were positive ( they had been during the lunchtime period , so this may have made a difference with their experience)so when I needed to organise somewhere to have a small evening works leaving do , I went ahead. Most of the people each traveled an hour to get there . One starter did not come out , ( it did arrived later when it was pointed out but most people had already eaten theirs )then when the mains arrived , two where not accurate and one steak came out and no one asked how they wanted it cooked so unfortunately it was not to their liking .the food was warm not hot.Had to ask for condiments.I so wanted the evening to be perfect and felt so disappointed . The waiter was polite and all the drink orders where correct, unfortunately the bill was inaccurate when it arrived but this was rectified quickly once pointed out.

Disappointed, not the usual clientele. Make sure you wear tracksuits to fit in . My son came from toilet and said two men were in the same cubicle. Pretty obvious what they were doing when a strong smell of cannabis came into the restaurant. This pub should just be closed down now.

Told new owners had improved pub, tried it for dinner with my wife. What a change.Welcome atmosphere, staff food all spot on.Good menu enough choice to make me have to choose from about 6 options.Had rib eye steak, wife had pie of the day which was chicken and mushroom. Both were excellent choice of veg to accompany excellent, onion rings really good.Steak couldn’t have been better, pie full of chicken, pastry obviously home made and excellent.Just a very good meal in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere and a reasonable price.Definetly a return visit, hope people realise the name is the same but the experience has changed for the better

We all enjoyed our meals and my pasta dish was very tasty. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely go back again and if our experience was anything to go by the pub will definitely rebuild its reputation.

Went to The Horns for lunch last minute. Had heard that it had recently improved so wanted to try it.We asked if there was an allergy menu as my 1 year old son is allergic to dairy and turned out they didn’t. When asked what they could do for him then the guy told us he could do pasta with some tomato. When it came it was literally cooked pasta with a bit of chopped tomato over the top and some red hot chips at the side. When I went to pay the guy appeared to not know which table we were at and had to asked the waitress next to him and when I watched him using the till there’s actually a map of tables so you could see where we were as we were only one of two tables actually in.When the guy asked how our meals had been I said “fine”. He then asked how the kids meal had been I said it would’ve been nice if the tomato had been a sauce instead of just chopped raw tomato. He responded by saying that other people would then complain that it was tomato sauce instead of just tomato. He said a new menu was coming soon and a cheese and tomato pizza would soon be available for kids. I pointed out “again” that he was dairy free and couldn’t have that. The man’s attitude felt very much like he wanted to ask for feedback but didn’t actually want it.

It does look like the place is not open when you arrive, as I waited on the car park for my colleague two people drove up, looked around and drove off. Maybe a sign would help.We were the only ones in there at 12pm but more came as we were leaving. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We were given the option where we wanted to sit so chose near the fire as it was fairly cold in there. Probably better when more bodies in, plus had just opened. Triple chicken sandwich was delicious, I will hold the chips next time though as not needed. Very tasty and filling. Would definitely revisit.

My mother and I waited almost an hour for our food order to arrive. Cold soggy chips, wet raw scampi and a very chewy undercooked gammon steak (also cold) were not acceptable and not what we were expecting. In all fairness to the waitress, when we expressed our concerns about the quality and temperature of the food and that my mother really needed something soon as she is diabetic, she was responsive, apologetic and immediately suggested a refund and some quick replacement food. That would have resolved the situation and despite the wait and experience we accepted her offer rather than move on and find an alternative for lunch. However, the main issue arose when she had to run the refund past the manager and he came over to speak with us personally. The man was rude and aggressive and his first words were: "what's the problem?" After we explained the wait and the quality of the food, he told us he would give us a refund but wanted us to know that he'd been pulled downstairs on his day off and this was his first day off in three months. I explained that this wasn't relevant to the current situation with the food and would appreciate not being spoken to in such a rude manner. He then became even more aggressive and had the audacity to tell me that maybe if we'd told the staff at the beginning that my mother was diabetic then maybe the food would not have taken an hour to arrive. I am still lost for words, but given the recent reviews and this experience they are clearly going to be lost for customers before too long.

We’d had no significant problems with the previous management ourselves, but also had spotted a number of areas ripe for improvement. We are so pleased that someone has taken this place under their wing and started making the necessary changes. There is now a level of professionalism that was slightly lacking before. I have given 5 blobs to try and improve the overall rating to where it deserves to be. That said, when we did eat here just before Christmas, we found service a little slow between courses, but I am sure this will improve as the team gain experience. 4 would be a truer reflection right now.

We have eaten here twice now since it reopened. Both meals were lovely and served in good time and by friendly staff. The Shelby burger was superb and so was the steak and ale pie. We visited over Xmas and it was clear they were hiring new staff and the staff were new to each other. Nathan is very committed and they seem to have settled in now. So please give this lovely pub and restaurant a chance. I think they are back to how it was in 2015. We will be returning as often as possible.

We visited on Christmas Eve as we read that the place was under new ownership. The previous staff were notoriously unhelpful do we stopped going. The Horns had plenty of empty tables with only the odd one with a reserved sign. On entering the pub the numerous staff seemed to make a virtue of not making eye contact the atmosphere was four and the staff members were more disinterested and miserable than the last lot. On being told we could have a table within minutes we were told without a reservation we could not have food. At 5.30pm the tables were mostly empty, this was definitely a near miss and I'm glad we left as the demeanor of the staff was unwelcoming, cold and disinterested. Needless to say we won't be going again , it's a shame as it's local to us, but i can sadly see this place closing again if this is the quality and standards on offer.

Read a few reviews since The Horns reopening which were all positive so thought we’d give it a try. Whilst the food was good, everything else was not. The place does look good but it was really cold inside, even with coats on. The place was almost empty but we still waited what felt like forever for our food. The plates were cold so the food was quickly cold also, we asked for a burger without tomatoes or pickles - guess what it came with. My meal came with dauphinois potatoes, my friend asked if she could have that also instead of mash, the answer - no. How hard would that have been? We ordered a second glass of wine, had to ask for it again 20 mins later. 4 of us had been looking forward to desserts but had to go without as we ran out of time and had to leave - even though we had been there 2 hours. When we paid the server said they were short staffed - understandably this can affect a place when busy - there was hardly anybody else there! The food, as I said, was nice, and if everything else had been good I would have been happy to pay the rather high prices, however I feel it was definitely not worth the money overall.

This lovely country pub could be an absolute gold mine if it was in the right hands, recent management, bar staff and kitchen staff have been nothing but horrific, the outside is neglected and the whole place looks run down, it needs a new lease of life putting back into it, I cant believe who owns this place actually cant se what it could be made into with the area that its in and the catchment area, nothing but sad, must be really bad business people who own it.

Avoid this pub for food it's terrible. First no carling on a Friday night.the fish platter had the mussels taken out so didn't think it was worth having my husband's whitebite was soggy and had about 6 in total. I ordered spam and black pudding fritter no spam so they put 2 hash browns on instead. I ordered linguine in tomato and basil sauce it was a congeled mass of spaggetti so i sent it back they agreed it was more like spaggetti than linguine I said no it was spaggetti!! So I had no main I said I would have the home made rice pudding they said sorry we don't have it on !! My husband had a steak which was cooked nice but mushrooms were cremated and peppercorn sauce was like water. There excuse was sorry but the owners live in France now the chef left last week they are trying to sell the pub. We are trying to keep it going . Well I hope the owners see this review and take back the responsibility until they have sold you are ripping people off dishing up crap and charging high prices. We won't be going again unless it changes hands or gets a new chef.

My Husband & I had wanted to visit here for a long time, after recommendations from friends.I booked here the evening before . Booking reference 29SQ2OL. We arrived and said we had booked a table for two at 18;00. The young girl at the till said no, no booking been made. I told her i had made the booking the night before via the internet, and just said No, no booking been made, i deal with the bookings in the morning and didn't see one for George. she didn't even check the system to see if we had actually booked, in case she had missed it.That should of been a sign to start with. Another young girl who was waiting on, said not to worry, we have plenty of spare seats, sit where you like. WE both decided to order the roast beef dinner. It was ordered. The pub was quiet and so therefore we did not anticipate a long wait for our food. we did not see anyone else enter after we did. Well over half an hour after ordering our food, and young chap approached us to say they had no cabbage, would we be ok with peas? He told us they had cooked a second batch, but that wasn't ready yet. ( as a chef myself i know to steam cabbage can take no more than 5 mins). We had no problem with this. 15 minutes later the food arrived, and the hottest thing about it was the peas. The roast potatoes looked like the had been put through a fryer. The mash and carrots were all cold.We got the attention of the waitress and she apologised, well actually her words were i don''t know what to say about that........ The food was returned to the kitchen to be redone. Fifteen minutes later, we were about to walk out, but the food arrived. It was tasteless. MY peas looked like a camouflage jacket, many different colours, of green.. My carrots had no taste, and the mash was not the best, the stuffing, yes stuffing with roast beef????? was fried but still powdery in the middle. The young chap came to ask if everything was ok, so i told him i was not happy with my meal. The peas were all a different colour, the carrots had no flavour, and i was not happy with he meal but i was eating it as I was ravenous. His reply was, well we have served it all day. YES exactly it tasted like it had been on the hot plate all day too! £35.54 for two roast dinner's a large glass of wine and a J20 (J2O was 2.60) We were not offered any reduction or even a dessert as an apology.

We originally sat outside the pub as we had our dog with us. Unfortunately we were plagued by wasps and there was no sign of any shade. We ordered food and after an hour went in to chase where it was although there were very few people eating we couldn’t understand why it was taking so long. We now de died to move inside the pub as the wasp situation had become really awful. The waitress came up to us and said e was sorry for delay and food would be with us soon. We waited finally the waitress came up to us to confirm my order this was after 1 hr 10 mins. Food finally arrived surprise surprise totally inedible fish was just a mass of batter and really greasy the veggie burger was cold and am sure it hadn’t been cooked. AVOID THIS PUB FOR FOOD IT REALLY ISNT GOOD. After all of this no offer of refund was made we left feel totally dissatisfied and still hungry
