The Horley Charcoal Grill in Reigate and Banstead

I used to love your kebabs but what the hell have you done to them???? I had one tonight but if this is what you’re now serving I’ll be going elsewhere. It’s like dog food. Are you now putting cereal in them.You need to get back to your old supplier or make them like you used to. A huge disappointment

A phone call and within 5 mins the kebab is ready for collection. Good quality lean chunks of chicken or lamb whilst the doner, again chicken or lamb, is tasty and succulent. Salad a dressings of your choice. Best Kebabs in Horley.

Popped down for a work crew lunch and was really impressed by the cleanliness of the shop. Staff were friendly and fast at making our order. Absolutely delicious food, I recommend the chicken shish wrap it was really tasty & great portion size for the price too. Staff were kind enough to give us a free bottle of fizzy drink on our way out. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Thanks guys.

We have tried all the kebab shop in, or that delivery to Horley, we always come back to this one. Great service, tasty food and big portions.... the kids even request kebabs from here !

Best value and taste! We ordered 2 large mixed grills which came with free drinks for a party of ten people who all ate enough to fill them up. We still had enough for the same amount of people the following day!!! Always tasty and always fresh - can't recommend this place highly enough. Superb - keep it up Horley Charcoal Grill :o)

One of the best Kebabs in UK! i have been to numerous ones from North to South, and frankly this one is amongst top 5 ! specially when you get them to crisp up the doner meat over the charcoal grill.... topped with there delicious home made chili sauce + garlic... STRONGLY RECOMMEND!, if traveling in our out of Gatwick...

Great chicken kebab ( i like mine cooked til crispy and they were happy to ablige), very friendly and efficient service. Lots of fresh salad too.

Always friendly, efficient service and the food is excellent. It does get busy as it’s so popular, and deservedly so, but you can call ahead to order which saves the wait. The portions are really generous and great value, the kebabs are always cooked to perfection, we can recommend the lamb shish and also the chicken kebab which is never dry but succulent and tasty. The staff are always cheerful and very warm and friendly, this is really the best kebab restaurant around, highly recommended!

I have been coming here for the last two years and I was never disappointed about the food or the service. Very down to earth and warm people, would recommend to anytim and around the Horley and gatwick area. Note; you can call and collect and it saves you the waiting time. Enjoy the food 👍

Have eaten here a few times now and always found the food very nice. Can get busy in evenings, but you can ring ahead and place your order.

I often swing via here to collect a chicken shesh, no pitta, with salad. I always ask for the chicken well done and it is always cooked the way I like it. The men are always friendly and they have just had a refurb so it is very clean and fresh inside! Food is always great, not greasy. The salad is always fresh.

I had a cheeseburger With salad and fries. The burger was excellent and the staff was very Nice and frienly.

We often get either a kebab or burger from the Horley Charcoal Grill as we live within walking distance and we always have delicious food, cooked well.

If I do have a take away I will always use charcoal grill. it is the best by far in Horley. Never scrimp on potions.

I don't go in there too often (bad for fighting the flab!), but on occasion when I have missed a meal I've found my car driving in that direction. Very generous portions and a good salad with the kebab. Better than the ones I've used in Reigate.

I went with my family and the staff were really kind. The food is the best as always and most certainly the best in town. I recommend this resturant because its awesome.

I was looking for a meal to eat after a long drive from south. Reached after lunch hour so not many eateries open. Found this cosy shop about a mile away & we had our late lunch.

We love going here: the food is amazing, generous portions and reasonable price, and the staff are always friendly and work really hard, they’re perfectionists and it shows in their food.

We collected an order this week, 3 delicious chicken kebabs and a very generous portion of chips. The food was so good I rang and thanked them. We,will be regulars from now on and will spread the word. Our boys both live in Horley and have been using The Charcol Grill for a few months and have said its the best in Town and they are certainly right. Excellent all round, friendly staff, clean, chicken was nice and tender with home made chilli sauce.

If you love a kebab then this is the place to try. Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff and very generous portions! If you love chilli sauce, then this is the best EVER!

Love this place. Busy as hell but they're so fast. Food tastes wonderful and everything is fresh. Chicken Doner with all the salads and garlic mayonnaise is wonderful.

Just had a massive mixed grill, salad, chips, pitta bread, chilli sauce, garlic sauce and a drink £20 - tasted AMAZING!!! Always a treat :)

We regularly have food from this take-away for the last few years. Hygiene rating of 5*. Never had a bad Chicken Shish. Lots of fresh salad and will box just how you like it-sauces, pitta separate. They even know my voice and greet me by name when I phone!

Food is always 100%, always cooked just right always fresh. Staff are really friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Normalmente nos dan comida para llevar desde aquí via JustEat un domingo para curar nuestra resaca. Es práctico que entregar a nuestra puerta y siempre llega a tiempo o antes. El barrio pounder con queso apaño cuando estás algo traviesos. Lo único es - bastones de mozzarella son tan caros y sólo 5! Aunque es amable botones.

We visit Charcoal Grill fairly frequently (at least once a month) and always have a fantastic takeaway from them. I usually have a quarter pounder with cheese, which is always cooked perfectly and they give exactly the right amount of salad, but I've recently discovered...

El kebab estaba bien, la salsa de chili no era en absoluto agradable. No es que era super caliente (me gusta), no era agradable. No volvería.

Que comprar comida desde aquí mucho y siempre es muy bueno, yo recomendaría el shish kebabs. Las raciones son buenas, así que sólo necesitas un pequeño uno cada uno, alrededor de 5 libras cada uno, que ofrecen una buena relación calidad-precio. Las patatas son bastante caros, alrededor de £4 una parte creo, es una porción muy grande pero no siempre quieres un montón de ellos. A veces mi hija adolescente va en exigente con sus amigos y que siempre tratan de acomodar sus deseos.

Como es de esperar un kebab decente con generosas que sirve comida deliciosa y lo recomiendo. Han estado usando durante años y lujoso uno ahora!

I used to really enjoy their food, I ordered a quarter pounder meal and found a couple of hairs in it. I showed the men behind the counter and they just laughed. Disgusting. Didn't Even get my money back.

We visit Charoal Grill fairly regularly and the food and service is nothing short of superb for this type of establishment.I usually have a quarter pounder with cheese, my husband has a lamb shish and we share cheesy chips and we always have an excellent meal.Last night I had a chicken shish kebab for the first time and it really was delicious - the meat was cooked to perfection and as always, the accompanying salad was fresh and crisp. But for me, their burgers are the winners and that's what I'll be choosing next time. Always well cooked and juicy, large portions and everything tasting fresh. It's usually busy, though we do tend to go at 7ish on a Friday or on the way home from a night out (they're open quite late as we've visited after midnight at the weekend), but you never have to wait too long and the chaps serving you are a credit to the place - they're friendly and chat even when they're really busy.It is a takeaway, but they do have a few seats if you're looking for fast food and somewhere to sit.Although Charcoal Grill is on the edge of Horley town centre, it's well worth walking a few extra minutes as it far surpasses any of the other similar take aways in town.

Been going here for 18 years and it's been pretty consistent until recently. They've changed the chilli sauce for one thing , which is now tasteless, and somehow the flavour of everything is not what it was. Very poor, and we have tried it several times to see if it was a "one off". Such a shame.

All Shish and Kofta kebabs are cooked fresh to order. Chips as well. All salad is fresh and crisp and have a good chilli sauce. Have been going here for 12 years, seeing a couple of changes in owners but have improved over the years. Open until late and reasonably priced.
