Brilliant - lovely food, new favourite

Staff are allways polite and seem to allways remember you even if you haven't been for a while

Been visiting for years but recently has gone down in terms of quality and service. Unfortunately I will be finding a new chinese takeaway.

The best Chinese in Coventry and Warwickshire!

Unfortunately our Singapore chow mein had zero spice and my daughter’s chips were completely overcooked. A shame considering Hong Kong houses by far our favourite Chinese take away

I live less than a mile away and my food is still cold. Probably sat there for ages in a bag while the staff mess around like I witnessed the other day when dining in. Delivery time kept creeping up and up

2 hours is not acceptable even on a Saturday night .. called 38 times between me and 2 others and constantly engaged then rude when they did eventually answer . We were lied to twice on the phone saying the driver had left 🙉I will be getting a refund

It was average had better from yourself before and I wanted curry sauce hardly any on the tray of chips was disappointed to be honest

Wasn't really a fan. Bit disapointing. Food a bit soggy and packed flavour.

Was a little bit later than advertised, which is the second time this has happened, but it is always worth the wait. Food is great, just make sure you order early! Lemon chicken particularly delicious.

4th January ordered food have been customer for years. Food arrived having been delivered. I have contacted them twice asking for explanation nothing happened no reply, no apology warned them I would leave review no communication. If you are having delivery check your food needless to say I will NOT be using them again!!!!!!!!!

Still no delivery very unhappy, the restaurant was not honest when I called them re the order status. 30 minutes after finally arriving time.

First time ordering here tonight, and so disappointed. Watered down sweet and sour chicken, the chicken was so small was mainly batter(Cantonese), curry was far to spicy and you couldn’t taste anything else burnt your mouth off, and paying extra for mushrooms in it you got about 4. Chips were stale,old &cold. Wasted over £30 for this such a disappointment. Won’t be going back here.

First time trying here, sweet and sour watered down, curry way way too spicy so you can’t taste anything else. Chips cold and old. Over £30 spent not worth it at all. Had to wait 2 hours for it aswel… sorry but not worth it. Disappointed.

I pre booked a delivery for 7pm which was accepted and confirmed at 5.20pm, only to be updated at 6.45 to say that it was now due at 7.30 and it actually arrived at 7.20. Disappointed that they were not able to deliver to a preordered time order well in advance

Ordered and paid for a large curried prawn & chicken dish. A ‘small’ king prawn curry with loads of onions arrived. Disappointed as it was a sharing dish so only got 3 king prawns, onions and curry sauce each.

Ordered a portion of chips and received a tray containing fried rice, a few chips, and curry sauce. Usually, we have no issues with this takeaway.

Was delivered so quickly, piping hot, fresh and received the perfect order. Couldn’t fault. Thank you

Chips were awful this time, tasted hard and stale like they had been sat for too long. Shame after the one I had in the week which was fresh and lovely and after telling my mum how nice it was we decided to get one tonight , it was disappointing.

One of the worst takeaways I've had in a while. All the food was very greasy and soggy. Left most of it.

Delivered nice and hot. Efficient service. Good menu selection, although a little pricey.

Disappointing to have received my order with the food I requested not to include in the notes and allergy section, for example peas.

Lovely chow mein. Shame I didn’t get the one I ordered which was chicken and mushroom chow mein. They forgot to add any mushrooms!! Delivery was quick and food hot.

I ordered one of their new dishes which included it being topped with bbq sauce which when it turned up was missing so dish was very dry and I paid more for this dish disappointing. Be careful when ordering these dishes as I don’t think they transfer fully when the order goes through

Satay beef was really tasty lots of beef. Ordered fried rice with onion unfortunately no onions in it. Prawn toast was nice. Never received my can of coke!

This is our go to Chinese take away we have never been disappointed with our choices will certainly order again.

Have to say this was the worst Chinese I have had in along while. The salt and pepper chips were bland, the sweet and sour sauce tasted funny and the tray of chips and rice had the smallest amount of curry sauce on them. We couldn’t eat it! Don’t bother

The food was not there usual standard the duck was burnt the curry didn’t have much sauce. The satay chicken tasted old and my son couldn’t eat the chicken balls very disappointed

I live in baginton and it's the worst chinese I have had. Asked for chicken pineapple got a chicken curry with pineapple in it. JOKE..And they charge for local delivery Changed ownership a few yrs ago now and it went downhill

Not good. Chewy chicken now, used to be breast meat. Foo yung over cooked as was the rest. This was the best chinese in Coventry over the past 20 years or so. Looks like they have changed the chef or the ingredients. Wont be going back.

Absolutely THE best chinese I've had in a long time. Tasty, not oily, hot and everything I craved!!! Oh and the chicken and sweetcorn soup...wow!

Just had meal from Hong Kong house,it was lovely(roast pork chow mein). First time used for at least 3 years as quality of food dropped off badly,will certainly be using for foreseeable future,well done.

Delicious, fast service Chinese takeout. Can't fault the taste, we had crispy beef in chilli sauce, Singapore noodles, curry chicken and egg fried rice.they are all freshly cooked and super tasty. 👌

Great, hot and quick. So quick I got the msg it was on its way and then the door bell rang. Most importantly the food is always great and today it was just as good.

Yeah food is banging as it always is never disappoints always spot on always get what you ask for the only criticism on this occasion and its a small one put my can of pop in the food bag so it went hot but minor really

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway near home for sweet and sour chicken. The chicken is tender fillets and they are huge. You can only manage one or two.

One of the best take out restaurants I've ever ordered from. The food was excellent and arrived so quickly that I didn't actually expect it to be my order arriving when the door knocked. Oh, and the complimentary prawn crackers were a nice touch. Definitely recommended.

Food good but paid for crackers and they forgot to pack them. Too late to go back now. Shame.

A great place to get Chinese food for reasonable prices. Always good quality food without too much of a wait. If you're staying at one of the local hotels and want something for dinner, you won't be disappointed.

As part of my order, I left a note for the takeaway requesting that the delivery driver telephone me upon arrival so I could collect from them. The driver did not telephone but left the food in the porch. It was 15 minutes later that I went to check if the food had arrived as I hadn’t received a telephone call. By this point the food was cold.

Tried Hong Kong House due to Normal Chinese being shut on Tuesdays. In my eyes it's now shut everyday. Today's meal was by far the best Chinese I've had in years.

The best Chinese in cov hands down the food is of a high quality chow main not dripping in soya sauce like most places the curry is the best I've Eaton try this place and you won't regret it or go back to your old Chinese place trust me
