The Hive in Tunbridge Wells

We were after food and we’re welcomed into the Hive with our two dogs by a friendly lady. We both had coffee’s and ordered off the Greek menu. It seems it’s cooked nearby and brought in to the Hive. I was very hungry and although my burger was very dry It tasted ok. Unfortunately the fries that came with it were so salty I had to leave about half of them. My wife’s pizza was nice but came uncut and the knife supplied must have been very blunt as cutting it was hard work. I would suggest less salt on the fries and either cut pizzas or provide a cutter in the future. Shame about the food issues but the host lady was so pleasant to us we didn’t make an issue out of it while we were there. The Hive itself seems a good multifunction establishment.

Absolutely brilliant food, top quality, wide range of food on the menu, very friendly staff, could not do enough for us, we will be back.

Loved working from the hive last week, needed a break from working at home so took all my stuff there and got loads done, enjoyed a nice coffee and cake to!

We were staying at The George Hotel, that is directly opposite and were intrigued by this place. So we decided to have an evening meal on our second night. We were not aware until later that the restaurant has not been open that long as it seemed to be have the feel of an established and much frequented local. It was much too hot to sit inside so were please to be seated in the peaceful and quaint outside eating area. It sits on a slope at the back but is secluded, cosy and shaded!. It all feels very easy going and comfortable. Both service and food were excellent. The waitress being attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food very much but were unable to finish everything. It was all as fresh as can be with the filo pastry, made fresh every day, in particular being light and crispy. There are not that many places open at night in Cranbrook but this a welcome, well priced and relaxed addition. Will definitely come back.

Booked a table for my wife’s birthday. First time we had been and the 5 of us had a lovely meal. The restaurant is cosy warm and friendly. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu and we shared it all between us. There was not a bad dish. The aubergine and beef was #1 with the meatballs a close second. The service was very good and the lone staff member had done very well coping with “walk in” tables until help arrived. We will be back with friends in the future.

Where do I start Such an amazing place to go, sit inside or out the surroundings are warm and relaxed, the staff are happy polite and friendly. The food is traditional Greek and taste beautiful.. Definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed 👍🏻

Absolutely fantastic evening at Kypseli in Cranbrook, the food was amazing, what a lovely addition to theTown. We can’t wait to go back there, thoroughly recommend you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to try Kypseli today after hearing good reviews but have left underwhelmed. The place is really nice and welcoming and the staff were lovely but the food was just average. The portions sizes were huge, so maybe we just ordered too much but no one finished a meal and all left feeling a bit disappointed

Just eaten in Kypseli the new creek restaurant in Cranbrook. Food was excellent, service was outstanding. The team were out standing. Brilliant service

Popped in for a spur of the moment lunch with my daughter. We enjoyed pitta, hummus, olives, Greek sausage and pizza topped with feta and onion. All was delicious! We couldn’t manage all of it so kindly we were able to take the rest home in some very good take away containers. I cannot wait for their new restaurant to open a few door away !

Today we had lunch at this wonderful Greek restaurant in the middle of Cranbrook and from the moment we arrived the young waiter was welcoming , attentive and a credit to the restaurant. The food was delicious too. I will definitely be going again soon.

We had our Christmas staff meal here on 4th December and what a great time we had! Food was delicious and the service was great, we got served by someone called max he was such a happy member of staff to be served by, we certainly will return on another occasion thank you again for a great meal and drink and will definitely recommend to others! What a welcome by Max, the lovely waiter. As soon as you walked into this establishment, Max made our first experience in this restaurant absolutely fabulous! We had a mixture of Mezes - all were delicious. Great place. Will certainly visit again when back in Cranbrook.
