Great food,beautiful breakfasts but fried bread can be very greasy.lovely staff aswell and service is fairly quick

Once again, a great breakfast for 4 of us today. Friendly, polite, attentive staff who served us a hot, well portioned grease free breakfast. Love how you're allowed to swap out items & the token bread & butter. Premises spotlessly clean, plenty of indoor seating. Plenty of free parking outside. Highly recommended

Mah. Not the friendliest of staff. Bacon sarnie was OK but nowt special and want offered a choice of bread or sauces.

Very fatty bacon, Fried bread was dripping with fat, not drained off properly, poor quality tomatoes. And the packets of brown sauce are disgusting, I would rather pay more and get HP sauce for my breakfast. And you only get a small cup of tea. I won't be going again.

I booked a table for 15 work colleagues for breakfast. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely outstanding. 2 members of our group ordered the ‘gut buster’ breakfast and I have never seen so much food on the plate for the price. I won’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends/family. Go give this cafe a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

Great place for a working breakfast. Friendly staff, super quick and flexible and delicious food. Swaps allowed on all breakfasts. Busy which tells its own story. If you're in Faraday Mill with morning munchies - this is the place for you!

This café has been here a long time over 20 years plus. Family run, the owners are fabulous people, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is very good and can suit most peoples needs just ask.

Efficient service, poor quality in food for the money, just over a tenner for a big breakfast which is a standard size fry up in most cafes, half of the food was warm. Food item missing from both our plates, unfortunately didnt realise this until we had eaten. Hair in egg (blonde) seen at the end of eating. Brown sauce is horrendous from the sachet. Toast was stale and chewy. Clean and tidy in the cafe seating area, could do with the t.vs on just to lift the atmosphere. 23/09/23

Was totally ignored while the girls had they're chat about some bloke last night Then asked for sausage and cheese sandwich was given a confused look Friend ordered bacon and egg sandwich that looked like a sumo wrestle had it stored in his armpit his plate after had so much oil I think putins on his way over to collect

Went in for a bap with bacon sausage and cheese charged me £5 I thought it was abit pricey but due to hospitality becoming a struggling trade I understand inflation of prices but as she charged me she pointed at the price list behind the counter now she went to the tarrif for three fillings that was 4.40 I think or 3.80 then went down to the five filling price which was five pound so I thought she will rectify this and say she overcharged me but no didn't even bat an eyelid so I was looking at the prices on the wall which are all overpriced and expensive for what you get and there it was 3 fillings should of been less then a fiver but she charged me for £5 for 3 fillings for some odd reason will not be returning here again AVOID AT ALL COSTS as they clearly have no issue at falsely advertising prices and overcharging customers

Went here today with a good Friend , Good Hearty meal . Typical British Greasy spoon , good Tea , Bread and toast accompanying a good traditional break fast , only gripe No HP Sauce . Good feed tho !

I meet up with friends for breakfast at least once a week and the Hideaway Cafe is one of our favourite places. Their breakfast is brilliant and the staff always greet you with a big smile. I always look forward to my breakfasts there.

Good cafe, food and drink at a price that is ok.

Went in for breakfast with wife, daughter and father in law. When the food came out it was cold so we sent it back. The staff then argued with us by telling us it wasn’t cold and it had been out for 10 minutes when it had only just been served to us. When it came back out again it was still cold. Then they came out and threw most of the money I had paid for the food on the table and then refused to re cook the food.

I have heard great things about this place and so treated my son to breakfast here. It was very clean, friendly and stafff cleared away finished tables at once. My only niggle was my toast was cold when it arrived . Everything else was hot . We also ordered 2 flat white coffeees and had 2 large cappuccino with so much milk . However I would visit again as everything else was great.

Nice food really good portions. Sausages a bit tasteless. Coffee was not good though used to be better when it was filter coffee. They now have a fancy machine but it make terrible coffee.

I visited this place on the off chance of a decent bap for my lunch break, rather than the standard choices in town. Although clean and tidy, the food was disgusting. I only had a bacon bap but the bacon was rock hard and cold, obviously overcooked and left to one side. The coffee I had ordered, a white Americano, was rancid. The filter coffee tasted like burnt coffee and the milk was not hot although I saw the lady steam it in front of me. Unfortunately, this is enough to not return, and there are much better breakfast venues around the city. If this is going to be your first choice for breakfast, please rethink and revisit some other restaurants on here.

Nice food. but everytime I have ordered for delivery I’m always waiting 2 hours for it to get here. So won’t be ordering again form here.

Very reasonably priced food, but the four stars are for the great play area ustairs for toddlers.

One of the best breakfast I have had. Also tried black pudding here for the first time as I was told they cook it the best. Breakfast was a large serving and value for money. Looks like a lot of local builders and workers frequent the cafe. You know it is good when the locals eat there. Enjoyed my breakfast. Wish I had taken a picture to post.

It's a busy place, that serves well-prepared, big fry-ups at reasonable prices. Order at the desk, and your grub is brought to your table ( you are given a little flag, in the form of a wooden spoon, with you order number on it to put on your table so they can find you). Good service, clean, hygienic and friendly. If that's what you want there's nothing not to like :-)

Proper builders cafe. Okay I now have to say the value is not bad at all. Tea coffee included in breakfast.

Great food lovely staff and a reasonable price. Coming from the North though I do find it had to have a small cup when having a cuppa tea. And there being no free refill. Which all cafes do where I come from. Mugs always for me hence the 4 stars food and staff 10/10 👍

Proper truckers brekkie here at Hideaway it's reasonably priced for the qty and quality. I've eaten here lots of times, I would drive past 20 cafes to get to this one. Small children play area upstairs it attracts all sorts you don't need a builders crack to eat here just a big appetite. Nice to see lots of vegetarian options. Foods quick, staff are nice. And yes that is a burger on the breakfast.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BREAKFAST IN PLYMOUTH!!!! Cannot recommend them enough. It was our 9 year old boy's birthday and he asked for a Full English for all the family. We ordered it and as it was his birthday, they wrote happy birthday on the box and gave him a little goody bag of sweets. Delivery driver was very friendly and pleasant and most of all, the food was absolutely amazing. So much food and tasted perfect. I really cannot recommend them enough, for all of us, it really hit the spot. Best breakfast in town hands down. Even the Royal Marines would struggle with the portion sizes lol. Will not order from anyone else from now on. Delivery time was bang on 08:45, honestly I am really really impressed. I guarantee if you want a food challenge, you will not regret it

Just what we needed when we got of the boat in Plymouth after 2 weeks abroad a full English breakfast with all the trimmings. It was lovely cooked to perfection and set us up for the ride home. I will definitely be visiting again if in Plymouth
