If you want a proper old school fry up this is the place! Staff are lovely, cafe is clean, light and airy. We have had take away from them too, (Burgers, dogs and shakes) and we were super impressed too!

It doesn't open at 8am despite having the papers on the window saying it does. At 08:10 we were told that no staff showed up to work yet. No alternative has been advised. Not understandable in my opinion.

The first time I came to this cafe, I had a really nice experience however today was the worst experience I have ever had in this sort of establishment let’s just run through the whole scenario arrived at the cafe we were the only table with a food order after sitting down we then proceeded to wait ten to fifteen minutes with 3 staff members to walk out into the cafe before someone actually took our order then from there we waited another 20 minutes for two breakfasts at this point we had been there for longer than half an hour before having a drink I had to go to the counter to ask for it and then to top it all off I didn’t get the drink I ordered at the start of all this I also didn’t get the order of food that I wanted let’s not talk about the other two tables if this is what it’s like when it’s busy maybe more attention should be paid to the cmrs who have came into the cafe rather than the telephone all in all I will not be coming back

Takeaway sausage baguette was awful and ended up in the bin. Bread was literally inedible and had probably been microwaved to warm it up. Rang owner who apologised, but did not offer a refund or replacement, thanks.. With the cafe being a local business which I supported and endorsed, I'm afraid that you have just lost my business. Customer service not good..

I visited the new east end cafe today with a friend i ordered a full english breakfast the sausage, bacon and egg was all very good quality and the portion of the whole breakfast with the bake beans toast and mushrooms was very large The toilets were very clean aswell and so was the kitchen and the dining area which explains why they have a five star food hygiene ratingWhen i attended the counter to order my food the staff were very friendly and they gave me and my freind a very warm welcome in to their cafe the customer service was excellentI would highly reccomend this cafe in plymouth and i will now become a regular customer at the east end cafeBecause of their customer service, value and hygiene

First visit here today and it wont be the last . Myself my partner and daughter all really enjoyed our meals . Me and my partner had a regular breakfast which was not only cooked to perfection but was plentiful . My daughter had burger and chips which she also said was very nice although she couldn't finish it all as it was too much . I would definitely recommend to others. Cafe is very very clean and well presented and the staff are lovely beautiful people who cant do enough for you .

I took the children here for brunch. The food was mainly cold and obviously cheap produce.Then looked on the floor and the sides were filthy. The glass I had had lipstick round the rim and my daughters plate dirty with dried on food under her order.Not impressed.

Went for a breakfast with my partner and we both absolutely loved it, everything tasted amazing and it wasn't greasy at all! The staff were so friendly and the place was spotless so clean! This will now 100% be our "breakfast" place!

Visit this cafe on the weekend with my family, and it’s one of the best places with have been for breakfast in Plymouth! It’s very clean, and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast wasn’t greasy at all and was very well presented! If you haven’t been it’s well worth a visit and this will now be our regular place on the weekends.

Love this little cafe, it’s had a new refurb so is all new and clean. The staff are always friendly, food served at a quick pace. The BLT sandwich is a must, best sandwich I’ve ever had. The breakfast is of a high standard, kids ask to go back time and time again If you want service with a smile in a nice clean cafe and a speedy service defo give the little gem a try.

I used to use this cafe a few years ago back when it had a very good name but when I visited early this year it had gone down hill. I’ve just drove passed and popped in and it’s now under new management and I can honestly say it’s one of the best breakfast in the town.

Called for breakfast on Saturday but was quite disappointed. We had been a couple of weeks ago & had the same order which, then came to £7.90 but this weekend is was £9.60?? I questioned it & she just said well thats the price.

I am old enough to remember when the East End Cafe was a typical Lorry Drivers Caff, we didn't have Truckers in those days, you had good wholesome, stick to your guts, all day food. Went back last week, bit smarter, definitely quieter but still good food at good prices. Fine dining it is not but it doesn't pretend to be unlike some other placers I could mention. Please don't shut your doors at least until I have made my last Gear Shift and gone off to that great Lorry Park in the Sky. Yeehaaa.

This is the ultimate stop for a fry up, food is cooked to order and quick. Service is friendly, prices are unbeatable. It's not flashy, it does what it needs to brilliantly. I recommend it as the perfect hangover cure!

This place is a working man's caf and serves up large platefuls of food largely geared around different versions of breakfast. It's good if you want a cheap fill up and are not looking for anything resembling a culinary or atmosphere experience.

Parking can be a bit of a problem but this is a good average corner cafe used mostly by blokes from the various light industrial sites around here. Always pleasant.

If you like a good hearty breakfast with plenty of choice then like many of the trades people and families this is a good choice stop off. There is more than just breakfast on offer. Staff are friendly and effective. Good value vegetarian friendly cafe and if your up for the challenge try the mega breakfast.

Popped in with the family for some breakfast and was blown away by one of the best breakfasts I've had for a long time the mega breakfast was awesome and kept me full all day, everyone enjoyed the food and my eldest lad who normally doesn't eat much cleared his plate and started making in roads into mine.`The lady who was serving behind the counter was very friendly and gave me lollies for the kids as we left, nice touch, will be heading back there next time I'm in Plymouth !

Put the earliest date Tripadvisor would allow but probably haven't been here for about eighteen months. Always very welcoming hot and snack foods provided by the Salmon family and a mix of locals, yachties, a people in from the local light industrial businesses. Preferred it to the catering within the marina itself. Good pointed corner site.
