So sad to hear the Hideaway has closed.Had a fantastic meal on Christmas Day with 10 of my family.Dinner was amazing, the effort these guys put in to ensure our day was perfect.was brilliant.Such a shame.Hope they reopen elsewhere.

Phone never answered, no answer machine, if can’t be bothered to open then let people know, very unprofessional, still displaying signage indicating opening hours so wasting everyone’s time

Excellent service well done to both male members of staff , great food, but they really need to clean the toilets. Really!

Really lovely night with friends. Service excellent. Cosy atmosphere, not rushed which in todays climate of having 2 hours in and out like a conveyor belt is a welcome change. Food good. Drinks great and so much cheaper than other places. 241 cocktails until 8pm, bonus! Would recommend and I will be back. Perfect places for a good catch up with friends

First visit to this hidden gem today we are absolutely blown away by the quality of the cocktails and food we were lucky enough to visit when the cocktails were 2for £10 and tapas 3 for £10 Service was second to none the owners could not do enough for us . Think the photos say it all .

What a great little restaurant. Three of us went on a Thursday which is steak and tapas night. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £40 or 3 tapas for £10. We did the obvious thing and had a load of tapas for a starter followed by the steak. Steak was good quality. We will definitely be going back

Visited October 30th with my family for a birthday meal, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Steak pie was excellent particularly but the service was impeccable and I’d definitely recommend.

I have visited here several time with various family and friends. The food is freshly made and tasty. On my last visit I opted for the 3 tapas dishes for £10 which were surprisingly filling! The cocktails are the best in Carlisle! My favourite being the Espresso martini which is absolutely delicious! Such a cosy atmosphere in here and great background music! Service is always fantastic, Ian is on the ball refilling your drinks and checking everything is as it should be. This is my go to place for a catch up with friends!

Wow can’t wait to return to The Hideaway after spending a pleasant few hours in this special restaurant..Must go back soon and continue to work my way through the delicious tapas menu such a great choice of dishes and the prices are very reasonable. The complimentary nibbles were a lovely touch rarely on offer elsewhere A lot of care was taken on the cocktails they looked and tasted stunning . Good service they were very attentive throughout and you got the feeling nothing was to much trouble .

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch - the lamb shank was delicious! Made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Iain for the excellent service. The cocktails were great too!!!

been a few times for Sunday dinner was really nice warm and friendly good portion size would highly recommend it wouldn't go anywhere else now will defiantly go back my children love it and want to go every Sunday

I brought my family to this restaurant after hearing about it by word of mouth. The service was second to none. The front of house staff were very friendly and attentive to the tables needs. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious. The menu offered something for everyone in our party. I would highly recommend this place. I will be back to try the Sunday dinners. I’ve heard they are up there with the best in town.

Fabulous to see this lovely quirky restaurant open again with new owners and new name. We would definitely recommend. Great food and great service throughout and fantastic cocktails. The 4 of us enjoyed the complimentary nibbles whilst we waited for our main meals. No issues whatsoever and without any fuss the chef even made amendments to my order (I like spice and requested extra chilli). We are looking forward to returning very soon.

Visited this restaurant 29th September 2022 and have to say that it was the worst menu I have had ! - the 'tapas' selection was odd to say the least , and my friend ordered the Broccoli and mushroom pasta bake - which was absolutely tasteless. I think that they should really look at their menu offering , as it was really not what you would want as an evening meal !! The only plus side was that the two gentlemen on front of house were superb !! they were courteous, and absolutely wasted in that establishment. Would I return - No.
