The Hide in Sheffield

Without a doubt the best and most delicious coffee in Sheffield, and I have made a personal study. Thanks The Hide for making best flat white ever.

My first visit to this coffee shop and I was impressed. Cappuccino hot, plenty of silky froth in ideal size cup, just like in Italy. Sheffield is limited for good coffee bars and this one is on my top three. Other good things about this coffee bar are that it is warm, comfortable and you’ll not be troubled by loud music. And guess what, they accept card and cash!

Visited The Hide for a wedding. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing and the lady who was coordinating everything was so helpful when my little one was struggling with the heat and getting hangry.

Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The Street food was to die for cannot rate highly enough

Had a lovely coffee sitting outside on the first sunny day for a long time this summer. Dog-friendly. They bought a bowl of water for my dog. I'd recommend the coffee - tried a delicious Brazilian medium roast.

Work place away day experience of the venue. Roomy, friendly staff good central location.

Memorable Memorial My friend booked this for her brother's wake...he wanted a fun party with fabulous food, friends and music and that's what she gave him. The food was delicious, and the people who worked there were wonderful and attentive. Great venue..to Iain!

When it came to organising our works party this year, I was given a recommendation of The Hide. After a google, a meet up with Trudi, we booked. We had our event last night and it was fabulous. Everyone loved it. ‘Best Christmas party we’ve had’ were the comments. Trudi and the Team at Hide sort everything for you. They are warm, welcoming and professional with a fabulous sense of humour thrown in too. The venue is ‘on point’ food delicious, catering to our needs with a selection of very good portion size goodness. I can’t thank them enough for hosting us. If you’re thinking of hiring The Hide, think no more, do it! You’ll not regret it.

Attended our friends’ wedding and we’re blown away by this hidden gem! Street food was excellent and the coffee has to be the best ever. The owners Justine and Trudy really couldn’t do enough to help the whole event be one of the most memorable ever. Highly recommend the venue and we will be back to sample the food and coffee again.

Chose The Hide for my 50th Birthday Party having had a few great work Christmas parties there. It was as fabulous as ever, highly recommend this wonderful, quirky, independent Sheffield venue with fab food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. A great night was had by all!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Hide!..It has been the best decision we have made! Absolutely amazing from start to finish.. It’s so unique, and full of character there really is nowhere like this in Sheffield! The Hide was exactly what we were looking for and it delivered in bucket loads.. Trudi & Justine were on hand whenever you needed them, The food they serve from their vans which are situated inside the Hide were exceptional! All the guests commented on how lovely the food was and that they’d never been to a wedding quite like this before! canapés on arrival then we had curry for main meal, then gourmet hot dogs served to our night guests.. so tasty and different from other weddings we’ve been too! The whole day ran like clockwork Trudi and Justine are amazing at what they do! Nothing is to much trouble they worked so hard to deliver our perfect day! We can’t thank them enough for letting us have happiest day of our lives in their fantastic space..The hide the hidden gem of Sheffield nothing comes close to this amazing venue!

I have to be honest wasn't sure about this venue when my daughter said she would like her wedding reception here but it was wonderful. Trudi and Justine are brilliant hosts, food was different and really good and they were totally aware of any food allergies They were very well organised and in sync with what the bride and groom wanted. I would definitely recommend it.

We had our wedding reception at The Hide in April 2022. Trudi and Justine made our lives so easy. The planning process was completely stress free. They constantly offered their expertise and advice which was a massive help. The venue is simply stunning and unique - you do not need to add anything as it is already stylish but there is room to add your own touches as well. We requested an all vegan menu which was delicious (even the non-vegan guests were very impressed - the evening hotdogs went down a treat) and the drinks were also great. The staff are so friendly and overall the whole reception had such positive party energy which wouldn't have been possible without Trudi, Justine and everyone at The Hide.

Just me and a very pleasant owner one morning. We had a good chatty conversation about coffee and Sheffield. Great espresso. Didn't realise they were there even though I am a local. Will be back for more beans soon enough.

If you live in Sheffield and haven't been here yet, go now. If you're visiting Sheffield, put it on your list. It is absolutely superb, 1st class on every aspect.

A very cool urban venue. I attended a wedding here in October and really enjoyed the building, the quirky citron van/bar and the friendly staff.

Went to a great wedding here. Service was exceptional, as was the food and drink. Quirky, / modern / industrial setting, nestled in the heart of Sheffield. The owners were also really friendly. Highly recommended.

A very nice venue for an adult birthday party. Staff were great. Able to fit in a band in one room with street food style vans and have a separate room for tables, games, and eating.

Always the best fun, the best food and drinks and most importantly, the most wonderful hosts! If you want a birthday party, wedding or any other celebration, there is no better place in Sheffield!

This is a brilliant venue ran by two lovely ladies and their staff. They do weddings and street fairs from their vans and the food is fantastic. Various fridays they hold a disco thats worth checking out

Went here to a 60th birthday/retirement party. Was well impressed with the place. The lay out and set up is just what you'd want if you were having a party/ gathering/wedding. Street food style vans supplying really good quality food and beers/wines. If I had to be at all picky, I would suggest using some of the vast space to create a couple more toilets ... there's only one for each team, so queues were tending to form! Apart from that, yeah... crack on , you've got it reet!

Went for a gig, which was fun. Really cute venue, lovely owners seems the perfect set up for a small wedding.

What a great venue celebrating my friends 50th...!

Quirky and relaxed with excellent staff and food and atmosphere. We had an excellent evening here for our daughter's wedding. Nothing was to much trouble for Trudi in the run up to the event and we had a wonderful Wedding Breakfast followed later by Indian Street food that was tasty and highly rated by the guests. This unusual quiet café has the widest selection of teas I've ever seen! Coupled with excellent home made cakes this has become something of a regular haunt of late. I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many and varied teas and found it a peaceful place to either relax or get a bit of work done. Highly recommended!

Interesting industrial items and reclaimed furniture and vintage objects. Keen pricing . Inspiring stock. Great cafe at the front and currently a exhibition by Coloquix in the art space.

I was taken here for tea and what a range to choose from! Most of them I had never heard of, but the two we had were both lovely. With a freshly made sandwich each and a lovely piece of homemade cake it made a great late lunch. At the back there is a gallery and interesting craft/vintage/upcycling shop.

Brilliant new cafe on Scotland Street that does an excellent range of sandwishes (not just your usual ham and cheese!) and cakes to eat in or take away.
