We had a lovely family reunion over a delicious Sunday roast at Ten Tables in Worplesdon. I believe it was their first session of doing Sunday roasts - congrats to all involved! Our hostess Lily was so friendly, charming, and attentive, and the food by Charles and Jon, who came and introduced themselves was delicious. My husband, and mother, both enjoyed their glasses of wine. And we finished off our afternoon get together with a quick walk around the beautiful hotel garden. If you’re splashing out on a family meal it’s important that it’s an event to remember - we will definitely be back.

My wife and I live nearby, have driven past hundreds of time, and finally made plans to visit. After seeing it advertised on their Facebook page, I decided to book us in for the Valentine's Day tasting menu as a surprise. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was nothing short of sensational! The welcome, the intimate setting, the decor, the bar, the service; all were excellent, but they were not the star of the show.....for that was the food. Somehow every course was better that the last and the bar started very high! I find it almost impossible to choose my favourite course; the Milk Roll & Chicken Skin Butter, the Beignet with Fig Relish, the Beef, the Cabbage and whipped Feta vegetarian course (I don't even like cabbage!) to the Fudge. The extra special touches made the dinning experience that more memorable, having two courses delivered to the table by the Head Chef as well as some back story on the recipes. After I told him how much my dad would have loved the fudge, he was kind enough to give me some extra to take home to him. The Head Chef at Ten Tables is seriously, seriously talented Is Ten Tables expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

Four of us went last night. First visit: first class in every way. Excellent food with fine detail to presentation and innovative cooking. The wines delivered (although a dessert wine by the glass would be a good addition). Very attentive service. Excellent surroundings. Good value for top quality. We will return...

Invited out for a special meal . We arrived to a warm welcome and after enjoying a pre dinner drink in the recently refurbished bar were led through into a cozy dining area After ordering we were presented with a wonderful complimentary amuse bouche of "sausage roll" this was followed by a rosemary brioche roll with confit butter. Out starters then appeared I particularly enjoyed my scallops as very fresh tasting All 3 of us ordered a different main which we all tasted. We were very hard pushed to pick a favourite as they were all so good . The simple steak , pork or lamb had been elevated to a new level. The course came with sufficient accompaniments but we also ordered truffle fries , heritage carrots and the most wonderful macaroni cheese Then came desert again we all ordered a different one but after testing we agreed the strawberry was marginally the best but it was a close run thing. A glorious end to a fabulous meal Throughout the meal we enjoyed a friendly ,attentive but unobtrusive service . We will definitely be returning

I wrote a review on Tuesday 21st January regarding the service I had at this restaurant whilst I was dinning alone. On Wednesday the 22nd I had a phone call from the owner Daniel Hollett regarding my experience. I have to say this Gentleman took my points fully on board and is deeply invested in the guests experience. Setting aside my small grievance with dinner I thought I would take the time to give an overall review. The hotel and Restaurant itself is in a great location just on the outskirts of Guildford with ample free parking. It is a boutique hotel and decorated to a high standard. My room was fully equipped for my stay with a wonderful view over the garden. The restaurant and bar are very stylish with an inviting atmosphere. It’s clear the staff take pride in maintains every aspect of this property. What has really stood out, is Daniels hands on approach, his passion and dedication to exceed customers expectations. This is more than just a restaurant in a hotel it’s an extension of Daniels vision of hospitality. For all the above reasons,I would most certainly be back.

So away on business tonight and I randomly booked this hotel. Travelling and eating alone not always fun but nice to find a different kind of hotel. This hotel is small an niche with comfortable rooms. Ten Tables their restaurant however I have to say this was probably the best meal I have eaten out anywhere in a long time! I had the beef fillet with 24hr potatoes, and parfait. I am gutted I didn't take a photo to share. You can look up the full description on their menu. Yes it was a little pricer than my normal adventure but it has to be said it was simply exceptional 👌! To top it off a superb welcome , host and service from Lily just topped it all off. A credit to their team! Attention to detail and clearly enjoys her job. How refreshing in the service industry. Well done all!

We had a superb experience and excellent meal. A warm welcome on arrival carried on through with friendly and attentive service. The dining room and bar give a calm and comfortable feeling. Our meals were so good. Fresh and flavourful. We both fully enjoyed every course. The venison main and lemon cabbage side deserve a special mention. The passion, attention to detail and hard work of the whole team shine through. Highly recommended.

We had a really disappointing meal, T bone pork was a slightly over coated and dry pork chop. The 24 hour potato was tiny (£8) worst value I’ve had this year, tasted ok but not worth the hype. The dessert, a clotted cream sponge was overcooked and dry - inedible. So expensive for the quality and quantity, came away feeling really disappointed and I’m afraid will not return.

Simply outstanding. From the moment of our arrival to our departure, the team at Ten Tables were exemplary. The Filament Bar is a delight and the actual restaurant lovely - intimate and quiet - but, as one would hope, the food is the star of the show. Delicious, flavourful, beautifully presented and Chef absolutely deserves all the praises being heaped upon them. It’s not the most extensive menu but there is something for everyone - the venison was sublime. All this topped off by the most delightful, courteous and professional staff. I’d love not to submit this review to keep this hidden gem hidden but they deserve so much recognition and success and I would suggest that anyone who loves exceptional food should seek out Ten Tables. For sure, we will be back. Highly recommended.

Driven past this hotel a few times and saw the sign outside for Ten Tables so decided to treat my husband. Great bar area with pretty array of filament bulbs and the restaurant is really lovely with just 10 tables as you would expect. Nice music playing and a lovely garden although it was dark and cold the evening that we went. We should have gone a few weeks ago but our booking was cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" which it turns out was that the chef left (which is a real shame as his reviews were fabulous) but we were assured the new chef was just as good if not better. I had the beef short rib croquette to start (delicious ) and my husband had the scallops - well .... The plate came out with only 2 scallops (think they could have put 3 on for the price of £13 !). Nicely presented in their shells on a bed of greenery which we assumed to be a crispy curly kale or similar (the lighting is quite subdued in the restaurant). My husband tasted the greenery and declared it a little soggy so I tried it too. It had a very bitter, nasty taste and it made both of our tongues go numb. When the waitress came to clear the plates we asked her what it was to which she replied "You didn't eat it did you ? It's Fake Reindeer Moss". Apparently not poisonous thankfully and on checking with the chef it's also thankfully non toxic. 24 hours later and my tongue still feels peculiar. IF YOU CAN'T EAT IT DON'T PUT IT ON THE PLATE !! . The venison main course was delicious and we will go back on a summers evening so we can enjoy the outside.

There’s a new(ish) restaurant in town and it’s quickly establishing itself as the place to go for some quality food and fantastic service! Cant recommend Ten tables highly enough-from the moment you ring the bell and are greeted at the entrance by a friendly member of staff you know you’re in for a treat and something a little different from the norm! ‘Ten tables’ is a small restaurant (ten tables as the name suggests!) but never feels snotty or uncomfortable, the staff are friendly and attentive and the whole vibe is relaxed, quality dining-oh and not forgetting the amazing pond in the garden, illuminated at night time it looks fantastic watching the fish cruising around through the window whilst eating! I look forward to a return visit!

What an absolute gem. Saw this place as I was driving past for work and decided to surprise my Mrs with a little date night, the food was some of the best iv eaten for a very long time, small and quaint Inside with Fantastic garden, the staff are friendly and amazingly attentive. The menu gives so many options even my very fussy mrs couldn't decide what to have. Homemade bread was sensational. Was amazed to learn that there was only one chef cooking all the food. In a time where chain restaurants dominate the market it's so exciting to find a place like this. Will return many times x

Had dinner at ten tables tonight. The food was outstanding !! Had the scallops and tenderloin.. more than incredible. Sam the chef came out and explained parts of the dishes to us and his inspiration. Martina looked after us for the evening, she was so welcoming and made us feel so at home. A truly special evening and the most outstanding meal. Can fully understand how Sam has achieved his rosette. Will definitely been dining here again!

We stayed at the Asperion Hillside after a last minute decision to visit RHS Wisley (which was amazing!). Ten Tables is situated at the hotel, and we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent. We had Wild Boar Smash Burger and Spring Green Risotto followed by Strawberries Meringue Cheesecake and Vanilla Crème Brulée. The service was also excellent - friendly but not too intrusive. The ambience was relaxing with pleasant music and a beautiful view over the garden and pond. The total price was very reasonable. We would definitely come again!

Claire and I booked this restaurant for our 19th wedding anniversary dinner. The name of the restaurant (10 tables) is literally it, there are 10 tables (seating for 20), although there was a couple of pairs of tables that had been into fours. Claire and I had three courses each and also had an amuse bouche and pre starter. The meals were amazing, well cooked and presented amazingly well. The portion sizes were perfect, at the end we felt like we had eaten enough, and didn’t want for more. The staff were lovely, attentive and provided just the right amount of interaction for us. The setting was lovely, looking out into the garden, that contained a large pond that contained koi carp. The only improvement in my mind was that the knife for my cheese board could have been a little sharper.

Beautiful meal for the four of us. We were spoilt with an incredible menu and perfect service; just the right amount of attention, and yet allowed to enjoy our conversation. At the end of the meal we were greeted by the chef, which was a highlight for us. We’ll definitely be back!

We'd spotted this restaurant when passing, so thought we'd give it a go. It's very good indeed. The dining room is very well fitted out and looks out over the Koi Carp pond. It will be lovely in Summer. I won't list everything we had but highlights were the perfectly cooked scallop starter and an amazing poached pair dessert, with frangipane, clotted cream and a spiced blueberry coulis. Absolutely fantastic - this chef knows what he's doing. I had a rib-eye steak for my main and it was perfectly cooked, with hot crispy fries and a bbq and honey brisket croquette that was soooo good. My wife pinched most of it. The wine list is good (sadly I was driving) and the prices are reasonable for the level of cooking. The service was also excellent and friendly. Will definitely be going back, without the car next time!
