Amazing new menu created with passion. A large group of us visitied and all ordered something different and all agreed the food is absolutely delicious. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too. I'm looking forward to our next visit

7 of us visited for a meal and drinks on a wet day at the festival . Staff were very welcoming and took our orders quickly . Food was good and staff efficient and friendly . Reasonable prices and would recommend for family meal .

Wonderful romantic meal The freshly caught Exmouth Haddock was delicious followed by some local Somerset cider would definitely recommend

Very disappointed I booked a table for 2 of us for my birthday on 2nd Jan 2024 To find out the place was closed. You need to sort out your table bookings to not accept a booking if not open. Had to look around the town for somewhere else to eat. Will definitely not recommend you.

Fantastic, chilled out, warm and friendly pub. Had a couple of pints of the Otter Brewery Ale - very nice indeed. Young man, with glasses, working on the bar, on Sunday, was utterly friendly and welcoming - a credit to the place. Liked the venue very much indeed.

Landed up here on way back to Hotel. Band night, but typically of musicians, slow to start. Not too much seating, given over for dancing, but chairs were available on request. Well oiled machine staff wise. Drinks sensibly priced - did not try the food. Felt safe - everyone happy - am recommending

there was 5 of us . i had the sloppy johnson . my wife had the cluckin banger. my daughter had the crispy pork bao bun , my 2 grandkids had katsu if you can. and classic smashie. all were not nice to eat. the chicken and the pork were tough the chef can cook. it was a disappointing dinner . will not be going back

Booked a table tonight Sept 30th for 8 people. The food was absolutely fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the whole evening. The music was great . A++ and congrats to Lauren ,Joe & Barry for another great time. All doing Exmouth proud 👍

Great find. Just a short 5 minutes from the beach and a small oasis of great food and great service So glad we stopped in the pizza and smash burgers we can highly recommend

Went here for my sister's birthday and got fantastic service from Lauren. The food was amazing, would recommend the truffle fries and the mac n cheese, they were great! Thank you guys, would definitely visit again.

Pub/kitchen has been taken over recently. The kitchen is run by Project X and is extremely yummy & different. I had soft crab delicious & my son had a burger. They were also offering hot dogs from the bbq which were excellent. Highly recommend the food & reasonably priced. Staff also deserve a mention for great service & friendliness. WELL DONE.

Had a great lunch at the Heavitree today, food was good quality and plenty full. Lee and his husband couldn’t do enough, very friendly, down to earth, a lovely couple. People of Exmouth, please give them a chance, they are trying really hard to make it work. We will be back.

Food on a Sunday was absolutely disgusting. Rock hard beef, undercooked potatoes. Poor cold vegetables. I would stick with the rest of the revies and avoid at all costs.

Under new management, fantastic service, very friend happy to listen to they customers, food very tasty, fresh and looks well presented, atmosphere has changed very clean tidy, a place I would like to visit more often and would recommend to everyone I know, well done to you all doing well, getting there and bring a nice place back to life well worth a visit.
