Breakfast here is not to be missed! £8 for 4 sausage 3 bacon 3 hash brown 2 toast 3 eggs beans and mushrooms! 99p for breakfast gravy .. has to be tried! Get down here before 12!!

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink, other than keeping an eye out for a stealing seagulls had a nice visit

Went on a Sat so booked a table in advance and was therefore hoping for a nice table but got one at the back by a broken window (there were a few empty tables so not sure why we got put there). Not the end of the world but the toilets were out of order at the back and they had the drain people in to fix them whilst I was there and the noise was awful and we really close to then being at the back. Then the food came....my seabass was nice but the mixed green veg was peas and hard beans and the garlic mash was literally the size of a tablespoon and was so hard I could have rolled it and thrown it like a ball, not nice. My husband had the keema stack, definitely not a stack, just a mush of food on a plate, not at all appetizing, and they didn't even put on the yoghurt and mint that was meant to be on there. To say the food was underwhelming and disappointing is an understatement. Only positive was the staff was all really friendly and polite. Other than that not sure I'd bother again sadly.

Toilets are disgusting, broken sanitary bin covered in what looked like dry blood, bad paint work, and sticky floors. Food was ok stale poperdom. Funny smell throughout.

My partner and I come to Exmouth every year and always pop into the Bath House for a pint and some food. The employees here are always pleasant and the food is always good.

Kelly was really welcoming and helpful. She Sorted our sides out and wasn't giving up til she found them! Prompt service

Unfortunately the cellar wasn’t functioning the day we visited, but it wasn’t a problem. Food was well priced and good portions. It’s in a touristy location and is starting to look tired - greene king (who I think own Hungry Horse) need to invest in the place. Staff were great and even though really busy on a rare sunny day this year, were friendly etc.

Kelly our server was absolutely amazing tonight for my girls 7th birthday. Everything about this evening was perfect and we couldn't of asked for a better night. Thank you so much.

Seafront located restaurant/pub style, serving all the classics. Good value and Blue Light discount available. Worth booking in the summer season. And while more expensive places are available, I like it here.

We visited Bath House on the 5/10/24. Ordered through app, waited more then 20 minutes for our drinks which been sat on the bar for 10 minutes, ended up taking them by myself as there was only one person behind the bar and no other staff. Then waited 15 more minutes for our food which came out cold. My husband meant to have medium rare steak, it was way too over cooked and cold. Portions too small. No one came ask if our food is okay. Very dissapointed.

please note in this review , this is my honest review and i am not being nitpicky i am displaying my genuine review on the bath house. first off we walked in to see a sign saying “please go and find a seat” we started walking towards a table and were told to wait at the door, not clear enough what we actually had to do to be honest, normally i can look past the sticky tables and dirty menus as i understand it is very difficult to keep up with many customers, Unfortunately they’re grills were broken so there was only half the menu available but there was still decent selection at a decent price , i will point out that they’re knives and forks were rather dirty. I will also point out that the couple snogging in the booth was also not entirely enjoyable for a 9 year old family member and for my father on his birthday, i do also understand that this can not entirely be policed strictly, i will now point out that the food was a big change in pace, it was perfectly done , perfectly heated and cooked. In conclusion this was a rather mid meal and improvements could be made.

Decent food, good selection of drinks and very reasonable prices. Kelly looked after us very well.

I ordered fish and chips, the portion size was appalling, the peas were cold and in a very small quantity. The fish not only tasted poor but looked it.

Visted here this evening and food was average at best. The best thing about the whole experience was Sam behind the bar he was very polite and helpful . Definitely an asset to the team. Nothing was too much for him to make sure we enjoyed our evening. Sam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been here everyday for the past 10 days on holiday, brilliant place to stay. Kelly the assistant manager was absolutely amazing. Dog friendly and very kind staff. Will definitely be coming back next year :)

I like the food, prices are reasonable. The only thing I really hate is the sticky tables. I don't know what they use to clean the tables but they are still sticky even after they clean them.

Unfortunately this was not a very good visit. Our food was not very nice and not very hot in places while very hot in others. We didn't complain at the time. The staff didn't seem to be very happy at being there. It was our wedding anniversary so were treating ourselves to an early dinner. Within half an hour of us leaving I had an upset tummy and was sick. As this was the only thing I had eaten all day it could only have been what I ate. I won't be recommending or revising.

We arrived and nobody was around but there was a big sign saying "wait to be seated". Nobody came so we sat down. We ordered on the app as nobody greeted us. Drinks came fast and that was great. The food didn't take long either but was awful. I ordered the beyond meat stack which is supposed to have sauce and onions and salad. It was just 2 dry beyond meat burgers and a piece of gem lettuce on a dry bun. Nobody came to tell us the garnish or burger would be incomplete. They served it and said nothing. It was practically inedible. It was lukewarm and I thought that it had maybe just been sitting out for a bit but I ate it anyway. While we were eating a woman came over to another couple who were having a few drinks and started asking them to leave her a good review. She had them get their phones out and do it in front of her! I was so glad she didn't ask us, but maybe that's because nobody had spoken to us at all. The same lady then tried moving furniture that was right next to where I was sitting before giving up and it just made the whole meal so uncomfortable. She was trying to lift up a cupboard less than a foot away from me while I was trying to eat my awful burger. Finally to top off the whole thing. Less than 3 hours after the food I had a very very upset stomach which lasted all night. I know for a fact it was the food. Maybe the burger wasn't cooked properly after all. Never in my life have I heard of someone getting food poisoning from a veggie meat substitute but clearly there's a first for everything. I don't recommend this pub or the staff to anybody. Really poor start to our 4 nights away

Seaside restaurant with friendly staff.

Came for my birthday/our anniversary meal as we usually do. Kelly and her team Serena, Natalie and Taylor were fantastic, very welcoming and excellent service. Serena was bubbly and efficient full of smiles. Food excellent as always and value for money. We often come here and recommend to others for evening meals and breakfast.

Kelly served me and my partner a few years ago when we were visiting Exmouth, and her service was amazing. She even remembered us after 4 yeada! We have visited again today to have Kelly greet us, and just like before her service was second to none! Service with a smile and so helpful and friendly, she simply can't do enough for you. Can't wait for our next visit! Such great food with a beautiful view, service like Kelly's makes the experience so much better.

Lovely food - fast to arrive to table. Bar lady Sam M served me and was very patient and friendly. Food was delicious and portion size was great!

Stopped here for lunch and drinks on the way to Plymouth and was pleasantly surprised. Hungry Horse pubs for food are very hit and miss but this one was a hit. Cheese and cluck sharer, baguettes and the burger was all good and was really quickly served even though it was very busy. The lady who bought our food was also a credit as she apologised for not having something on the menu and was very hospitable.

Staff where lovely and the sevice was very good. Good food for a good price

Just been wonderfully looked after by the amazing Kelly once again. Came here around 4 years ago and she saved my life. (that's a story for another day) Anyway, no emergencies today, just a real asset to the hospitality industry. HH you are lucky to have people like Kelly on your team. Lyndon.

Was out for a walk this morning and decided to stop off for some breakfast. I got a seat very quickly and used the app to order which was easy and quick. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Shout out to Angela who waited on me (and even gave me 2 teas instead of the 1 I ordered. What a diamond).

Nice meal. Good portions and most importantly, the food was hot. The staff work very hard in a busy pub.

First time in this pub and not exactly bar friendly the staff were rude and after spending alot of money on the machines and also pool table that did not work properly we had found some lights to entertain the children and kelly the supervisor was very rude and turned it all off which in turn we ended up we left and will never return also we had dirty looks from the other staff members and had bought food and drink

Taylor and the team were exceptionally helpful and polite. The food was great and value for money. Came down from the Midlands for the week and this turned into our regular. Excellent view of the sea also.

As with all Hungry Horse pubs you can feed the family for a very reasonable sum. The meal was served quickly with staff checking to make sure everything was okay. We found the staff to be helpful and polite. However the actual pub itself is in desperate Need of refurbishment the fixtures and fittings are in a sorry state.

Rainey night, lovely food, really nice atmosphere, very much the way a pub should be, Taylor and all the staff are all very nice and helpful. Recommend The Bath House at Exmouth to visitors and residents alike.

Called in for evening meal we booked a table as we didn't know how busy they would be we ordered different meals and drinks I had the lamb kofta on a flatbread and it was absolutely delicious 😋 another good item on the menu

Serena was the best waitress! Made sure we were well taken care of. Lovely family meal, will be back!

**** Review update had a call from the manager today and she has assured me what happened to us will not happen again to us or other customers i was offered a voucher which i declined because the review was not to get free food or drinks it what a honest review of our experience we will give the restaurant another try in the next couple of weeks and if we get a good experience I will remove this review and put it down to the restaurant having a bad day The place was a total let down. It wasn't open at 9 like they said it would be, and the app for ordering food didn't even work. The whole place looked run-down and outdated. We were made to wait at the bar while the guy behind the bar just engorged us standing there. After standing there for 10 minutes, we gave up and left. There wasn't even anyone else in the restaurant. It felt like we had gone back in time 10 years.

Great visit yesterday! Food was top notch. Loved having the new chilli dipping burger. Something I've never thought of trying. It was really handsome. Friendly staff checked if our.meal was good several times. Ordered on the app and fast arrival of drinks. A bit dated building but it adds to the charm.

Had a lovely meal here also the service was very good the waitress who served us was lovely and helpful her name being Angela . I would definitely recommend this place as it was good food and reasonably priced. Keep up the good work

Absolutely awful,will never come here again,my brother had a glass of white wine which he said was barely drinkable and fish&chip’s,I had the veggie lasagne which was inedible,I have never been to a pub where I couldn’t eat the food! It did not even look like lasagne,over cooked frozen microwaved rubbish,also gent’s was out of order,I had to rinse my brother’s cutlery in the ladies as they were not clean and no more cutlery,the ladies had two cubicles out of order,cupboard and tissue on the floor,the table’s next to us were only partially cleared after about 15-20 min’s,bar area covered in dirty glasses,overall very very poor I hate to think what kitchen look’s like judging by front of house,to be frank management and staff should be ashamed.

Wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. But had to as to be able to comment, waited outside after supposed opening times to open. Then was made to wait 10 minutes at the bar to order food when there was no one else in the place. Had to order at the bar as the app wouldnt let you order. Another member of staff came by and just looked and walked off. After I went back to table to collect the children and leave. Toilets were out of use, cleaning schedule on back of toilet door was dated 26th August today it’s the 1st of September. Very disappointed in our visit, upped of got breakfast somewhere else.

Enjoyed breakfast here, the food itself was ok nothing special but for the price it was perfectly reasonable. If you want to fill up and have a quick service with a pleasant view then this is the place for you.

Myself, my mum & sister come down to Exmouth every other year for our little family holiday and we regularly visit The Bath House on the seafront and can say we’ve never had a bad thing to say about it. That being said, staff are always going above and beyond (especially this bank holiday weekend, hats off to each and every one of you!) we saw a lot of people getting impatient as it was busy - staff always had smiles on their faces and we’ve always had a lovely time here. Thank you :)

Quite honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had, waitress came over asked how our meal was (we literally had one mouth full and left the rest because it was inedible!) The waitresses asked if we wanted a free dessert instead, no offer of a refund and instead an offer for more inedible food?! No thanks! Definitely wouldn't recommend eating here the chicken was dry and tasteless the veg was brown. I ordered a jacket potato that was just mush with plastic cheese no taste to it whatsoever!

Absolutely amazing…..We took our family of 10 the staff are very welcoming polite and helpful the food was lovely and all arrived at the table pretty much together 10 completely empty plates and 1 a very happy family. Portion sizes on point and reasonably priced great value for money would highly recommend and will definitely be back Big thank you to the staff please pass on our complements to the chef

A few positives: staff were friendly, food arrived quickly and you could order through an app from your table. The menu is vast and there was lots of choice. The kids meal deal was a particular hit - good price and portion. There's nice outdoor seating for when it's good weather. HOWEVER, the negatives are big ones! The food (the two adult meals) were awful. I had the mix and match grill sizzle plate with a salmon fillet, which had badly burnt onions and peppers all around it (I'm fine with well done, but this was charred and strongly smelt of burnt!) My partner had the gravy burger. The gravy did not taste good - it was a little sour?! Small portions for the price. The place itself was a bit run down. The Coke Zero tasted mostly like soda water. Quite the shame!
