Absolutely amazing…..We took our family of 10 the staff are very welcoming polite and helpful the food was lovely and all arrived at the table pretty much together 10 completely empty plates and 1 a very happy family. Portion sizes on point and reasonably priced great value for money would highly recommend and will definitely be back Big thank you to the staff please pass on our complements to the chef

A few positives: staff were friendly, food arrived quickly and you could order through an app from your table. The menu is vast and there was lots of choice. The kids meal deal was a particular hit - good price and portion. There's nice outdoor seating for when it's good weather. HOWEVER, the negatives are big ones! The food (the two adult meals) were awful. I had the mix and match grill sizzle plate with a salmon fillet, which had badly burnt onions and peppers all around it (I'm fine with well done, but this was charred and strongly smelt of burnt!) My partner had the gravy burger. The gravy did not taste good - it was a little sour?! Small portions for the price. The place itself was a bit run down. The Coke Zero tasted mostly like soda water. Quite the shame!

My husband and myself have been coming here for a few years, the food is always well cooked and presented, staff are always polite and friendly, especially Kelly behind the bar, she can't do enough for you, always has a smile on her face.

Nice location though parking none on site. Plenty parking around though. Sea views. Seating outside and inside. Satff helpful and friendly. Food was delivered after 30mins. Drinks also slow to arrive to table. Some confusion apparently but apologetic for the mix up. Probably return if was in area.

The staff are very friendly. Toilets were disgusting, broken dispensers and Very dirty. Food arrived are different times, staff rectified this

Took the family here for lunch, everything was spot on, food came out quickly and hot, was delicious and everyone ate it all. Atmosphere was so nice and relaxing, service was brilliant and our waitress Serena couldn’t do enough for us, really helpful and helped my mum with the menu as she has allergies, and chatted to the children lovely. Would DEFINITELY recommend and be back.

Been coming to the bath house for years now, always lots of choice and new things on the menu. But you can't beat a classic breakfast to set you up for the day, eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns are so nice I ordered extra!!

Needed a food venue suitable for people with autism . This particular pub was situated on the seafront, which was the perfect location for our group. Managed to find a quiet area , and staff were more than happy to accommodate specific requests. Everyone happy with the food served . Thanks guys, see you again soon!

Fri evening, lots of tables pre-booked but we were able to be accommodated. Menu had a large selection of good pub grub. Very reasonable prices for both food and drink, meals average £12 and bottles of wine at £15. Food arrived pretty swiftly even though busy. Quality was very good and everything hot. Side note: As we were finishing up, a large group entered and thought they would get turned away or have to eat outside but the manager, Kelly, went to some effort to re-arrange a number of tables so they could all eat together inside. A1+

Not a happy customer today. The guy at the till wanted to charge extra for something that was already included in the meal, then he wouldn't accept my discount voucher - just to rip us off anyway! The wife and me had the same meal yet hers was missing. Not to mention it wasn't cooked enough. We had to clean our table ourselves as it hadn't been cleaned. We used to come to the Bath House all the time but won't be coming again! It's the third time we had awful experience.

If you are looking for cheap food after a day at the beach without expecting much this place might work for you. Two stars is a generous review - you get what you pay for in terms of food. Frankly the service was lacking. We waited at the “please wait to be seated” table and after both the bartender and waitress who both looked at us and then looked away we tagged the waitress and asked if we could sit anywhere. After some confusion they noted we could sit anywhere. Ordering drinks at the bar (and food - there is no table service) went somewhat smoothly. The food came, no cutlery, no napkins, no anything. We were told to go find it ourselves. Noting the napkin basket was empty we were sent to the opposite end of the restaurant where it was also empty so had to interrupt the bartenders to ask for napkins. We ordered fresh peas and mushy ones arrived - noted this to the server and the response was “they must have misheard you when you ordered - that’s too bad”. No dressing on the salad - asked repeatedly for dressing and finally it was brought out. The meal was cheap so guess our expectations were too high. The staff are not overly helpful but suspect there are too few servers for too much work. Washrooms were like beach washrooms - sand everywhere and not overly clean.

We had 4 Sunday roasts. Excellent meal - good price, hot food, huge meal, quickly delivered, delicious. Staff were very nice - Antonia delivered the food and cleared up with a smile.

My son and I visited The Bath House today for lunch and it was heaving. The cue to order at the bar was really long and there were only three members of staff on due to staff sickness today. Nevertheless, Stewart kept calm at the bar and took the orders, and grumbles, and was respectful and helpful to everyone. Debbie, the manageress served a full house on her own, quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Our meal came in less than 25 mins and was really lovely and super value, thanks to the efforts of Anna and Luke and , who was apparently our chef and kitchen manager respectively. An absolute triumph and a masterclass in how to run a restaurant. Thank you to all staff. We will be back here again very soon.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Bath House tonight, me and my partner came away for one night in Exmouth, and received excellent food and service, one server called Kelly was head and shoulders above everyone else with her service, she had short and whitty banter which made us laugh and want to come back, definitely deserves a raise, also got a giggle out of a kitchen member tripping up the stairs on the way into kitchen from the bar

Food and staff were both good But the place its self needs some TLC the place was very busy and one lot of toilets were out of order menus had food on them don’t think I will be returning

Garlic mushrooms were luke warm and as a starter arrived together with main. At least fries were good and hot, assuming it is not easy to ruin something that is frozen and needs only a fryer. This place needs a refurbishment.

We visited on saturday 29th june before attending an event at the pavillion. It was very busy and was very short of staff. Although ordering food and drinks via the app, it took over 24 minutes for the drinks to arrive and a further 15 minutes for the food. It wasnt worth the money nor the wait. My sons burger contained the smallest lettuce leaf in the world, couldnt see the mayonnaise at all, approximately 8 chips on the plate. Mine bog standard curry, dish was half filled, rice was very dry, looked like it had been hanging around, the poppadom was soft in texture. The people on the next table had recieved there food and were missing items, not to mention their cutlery and had to wait another 15 minutes plus before some were washed up and brought to them. Very poor show. I wouldnt recommend.

Pre booked and straight to table.Was surprised no ale was on the menu or available considering it's a Greene King pub. Sunday lunch was very cheap (2 for £15.49?) but sadly it was frozen sliced meat for the Turkey and the beef looked very fatty.You get plenty of food for the money however. Some drinks were decently priced,tables were a little sticky and menus were grubby Wife said toilets were bad. Cheap and cheerful and service was decent so some good points ,some not so good.

I'm gutted that the beautiful Pride night evening was spoilt by people crowding around the small area between the food bar and the stage. I promoted this night to many friends and friends of friends who eventually gave up and left! WHY WERE THE TABLES NOT MOVED to accommodate the people?

I know its cheap and cheerful but it wasn't good at all had the combo starter very poor chicken nuggets and the scampi pure mush supposed to of had sauces with the starter they never came then after that had the chicken new yorker and the chicken was bland and was under cooked

Toilets are disgusting, need a good clean no soap either, then dirty glasses with lipstick all over them, we got our money back, Bar staff have no communication whatsoever & not made to feel welcome at all, after seeing the toilet no way would we eat there, god knows what the kitchen is like, Saw a member of staff from the kitchen looked like her uniform hadn't seen a washing machine in a while, Make your own mind up! might be cheap but not cheerful what so ever. Well a good start check the toilets more regular & make sure soap etc is available & maybe get your staff to be a bit more welcoming, Just back to basics really and maybe stood at the bar like the old days rather than queuing up & blocking the entrance at busy times, just saying!

Sammy was an exceptional waitress. Something was wrong with the order which was my fault. She sorted it out straight away with a smile. Food was overall good but the service from Sammy was fantastic. We will be coming back again!

Lovely family friendly pub, felt very welcomed by the staff, had an amazing hot chocolate which was accompanied by whipped cream, marshmallows, a chocolate wafter straw and chocolate dusting, we did not dine in but the food that was coming out smelled and looked very tasty

Went on Weds 5th June so not school holidays or anything, but the wait for the food was 55 minutes - and as we ordered at the table using a QR code we weren't warned about the long delay. By the time or came I'd literally waited enough and eat it begrudgingly but what I will say is that it tasted good and was hot, so food no complaints, but service/waiting time was poor.

Reasonable food at reasonable prices. They ran out of rice on curry night though! You got chips instead.

Nice to sit in the sun with a drink, eating food on the other hand is not so pleasant, ordered the sharing nachos. (BURNT TO A CRISP) They replaced them but didn't come out much better. Ordered a medium rare sizzler steak. Well and truly cooked, (Tougher than a pair of leather boots), couldn't be asked to ask them to change it. Tried the one and only toilet that was available due to the other being out of action. Toilet was filthy dirty, tiles hanging of the walls, tap running continuously, Dread to think what the kitchen is like. Will not be visiting again.
