Klaudia is the best bartender i have met! Along with Agata they make the best atmosphere and pour the best pints! The atmosphere is absolutely and i highly recommended!!

A hidden gem in Clerkenwell! Great staff and probably the most price worthy pub in London. Quite busy after work and lots of local regulars. Keep up the good work!

Well what can I say except unless you have a huge bank account don't bother visiting this dive of a pub. Got charged a service charge just for standing at the bar and buying a drink. When we questioned the staff what the service charge was for they didn't know. The staff were not helpful and the drinks very overpriced even for London.

This place has some amazing beers, great food and all in a lovely setting with a good atmosphere. The staff are really nice too.

I was at the Hat and Tun last night for a work due and I have to say I had an amazing night. However the stars of the show were the two staff working behind the bar who completely smashed it and offered a flawless service despite only being two of them and a sea of us!! Sara was a complete rockstar making sure everyone got served!

What a great place to hold a party, the staff were very attentive and the food was very tasty. If you have a lull in the coversation then you can have a tournament of shuffle board! Perfect.

Go there on Mondays for the pub quiz. Missed it whilst it's not on over Christmas and New Year! Love the quiz master. Pub has a lovely feel to it. Not eaten there so can't comment on the food.

Very nice decor and amazing atmosphere. We will be back again for another visit soon. Nice selection of wine and my boyfriend really enjoyed his ale. Didn't eat this time but we will try one of the pies next time. Great place

Fantastic evening in an old traditional pub...! We had drinks downstairs followed by dinner upstairs in the private ‘Boardroom’. The food was great and Sara was a brilliant host, making sure we were well looked after all evening..! Great evening all round and would recommend to anyone.

Dropped in there for a thirst-quenching pint whilst exploring the area around Hatton Garden. Looks olde worlde from outside and looks original inside. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. I didn’t eat, but the food smelled very good. Definitely go there again.

I visit the Hat and Tun every Monday for their quiz. A new management team took over recently, headed by Nadia who has made me and other quiz regulars feel really welcome. I often eat here too, the food is not overly complicated but good quality and value. They have a few real ales on draught and a wide selection of spirits and wines. Due to being a little of the beaten path it is one of the less busy pubs in Clerkenwell, this adds to its attraction.

A first time visit spoilt to some extent by a litany of failings. At opening, only one beer on the hand pump, and this soon ran out without being replaced. The menu was incomplete at start of service, and to top it all, my colleague and I were removed from our seats as apparently the table was reserved for a group, although this was not mentioned during the first hour of our visit and was not indicated by any reserved notice on the table. We were given a free drink each at the bar in recompense, only, to our amazement, to see the group who had been given our table leave the pub ten minutes after we had been ousted without having eaten a thing. Whilst the manager was inept, our Sri Lankan barmaid was superb, and had it not been for her we would have left without our free tipple. In essence, a lovely pub spoilt by an inadequate management.

Fui a buscar un trago a las 23 y unos minutos y me dijeron que me vaya porque estaba cerrado (barman rubio, pelo corto, ojos claros) cuando antes de entrar había visto a alguien irse de la barra con los vasos llenos. Cambien el horario del sitio y pongan que no esta abierto hasta las 01 porque no es verdad o me mintieron en la cara. Además había una chica inconsciente que a nadie le parecía importar. Muy raro el lugar. No recomiendo que pierdan tiempo habiendo tantos pubs británicos en la zona.

Strangely after years working in the area I'd never seen this pub. It's slightly hidden away. However, it is an old and atmospheric looking place. Worth going for a pint. The food however, is best avoided. There's so much competition for your custom in the area with Leather Lane and some decent surrounding restaurants. The burger I got here was pretty bland and poor quality meat, felt like it was straight out a package. The Mac Cheese was a strong cheese, which is great but became a bit much after a few bites. The mac was too soft and clearly over cooked. The price was OK but not for the quality on offer. Won't be returning for food but certainly will drop in for a drink or two. Service was unexceptional, not rude, not polite or friendly. Menu was not too appetising to be honest. Pretty mediocre looking options.

It's a historic Victorian boozer on the edges of Hatton Garden. Today it was quite a challenge to find a seat as several rows of tables had been pushed together to accommodate a large party.two long tables. The menu covers all the pub staples for £9.95 from fish and chips to corned beef hash and fried egg, fishcakes with spinach, or the steak and kidney pie, mash and gravy I ordered. It was nicely served on a tray with creamy mash in a bowl as was gravy which was just enough to soak into the mash before it was all ravenously consumed. A pint of cider on draught accompanied this nicely.

I hired the Hat and Tun for a private birthday party on a Sunday. In the lead up the team were extremely efficient. On the day, they could not have been more helpful, providing excellent food and service. Thank you very much to both back and front of house teams for making the party go with a bang!

Encontré en el sombrero y después de ir a otro lado para Tun almuerzo y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Tenía las fichas de longhorn burger y una pinta. Todos agradables y frescos y servido por una pelota en el Ollie, que era muy simpático y claramente está orgulloso de su trabajo (no hay mesas sucias o vasos de pinta izquierda sentados alrededor) Bien hecho, sigan con el buen trabajo.

Tuvimos una gran noche en Londres, entonces hemos decidido tener más bebida y terminamos en un sombrero y Tun! Gerente de servicio increíble y barman Patrick Ollie. El servicio era excepcional gran, acogedor y servicial actitud. Gran ambiente así que nos quedamos un poco más. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar y pronto estaremos de vuelta íbamos a entrar para tomar una copa. Sombrero y tun, gracias por su hospitalidad.

Fui allí con compañeros de trabajo como uno de ellos salir.

Spent a couple of hours here. Beautiful fire and excellent beer. Landlord a gem. Mislaid my wallet and within minutes he had the whole pub looking ! I found it but nothing was too much trouble. 10/10

El H & T es un tradicional pub de Londres cerca de la estación de metro de Farringdon. Sirve buena cerveza y buena comida, y tiene un personal amable. Si su alrededor de Hatton Garden y te gusta la pinta, la H&T; vale la pena una visita. Si son un grupo de amigos y no tienen nada mejor que hacer un lunes por la noche, en la noche de concursos (2 libras por persona - 7. 30 ish start). Es divertido y dura un par de horas con Martín, concursos principal añadiendo a la animación, así como un gran número de los participantes de concurso. Creo que un buen nombre de equipo (políticamente incorrecto) y ganar una ronda de tiros; una botella de vino (el color de su elección) para 2º lugar y un £100 Ficha Bar si ganar. Para ganar tienes que ser bueno! ! Divertirse.

Estuvimos una noche increíble con la organización de un evento privado en la sala de juntas. Henry no podría haber sido más servicial ayudando con establecer, horarios, bebidas y canapés. La habitación era genial, la comida excepcional y el retrete está limpio. Yo recomendaría este hotel para un evento privado o bebidas.

Conocimos una mesa para el almuerzo después de haber reservado para 8 personas por mesa. Que no sabía nada de la reserva y sólo tenía una opción limitada de "tartas", supuestamente como consecuencia.

Metimos en un rápido pinta y terminamos quedándonos más cierto, animado, tejo atmospshere parece divertido y una gran directora y personal! Que haya terminado la Heineken pero no esperar 3 minutos para solucionar el problema de nuevo, impresionante! Ver este pub muy pronto! Gran lugar para un viernes por la noche.

Fui con unos compañeros de trabajo para una comida a mediodía. El servicio era lento, teniendo una terrible alrededor de una hora para traer un plato de ensalada de uno de nosotros habíamos pedido. La comida también fue muy decepcionante, las tartas eran pequeñas y el pollo sabía raro. Para colmo, vimos que el chef estaba recogiendo y colocando en los platos de ensalada con su propias manos durante la preparación.

We had 14 of us for the excellent value three course dinner and wine. It was very good quality food and the waitresses were also very good. We really enjoy Martin's quiz so it was a bonus that it was him (we hired him at the Well in the previous year for the same client). All had an enjoyable evening.

The team had a great afternoon on the 9th December 2016. The food and service was fantastic and couldn't be faulted. Ellie and Zahra were extremely helpful in the run up to the event making sure that everything was sorted and that there was nothing for me to worry about.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue to future clients.Thanks againJenny

I've been here twice with work colleagues. On the first trip, the place was quite empty so we sat in the booth in the back and everyone ordered toasties. The waitress was weirdly rude and when we left she nearly chased us out for not leaving enough of a tip! Went back today and the place was a bit busier. We found a seat and when nobody offered us menus, picked some up that were near our table. They looked fancier than what we wanted to order and in a flash the waitress(same one as my first visit) took the menus and said they aren't for you then - and this bit was genuinely baffling - rolled her eyes at us!! Then went to put the menus back, looked at us and rolled her eyes again! Are you kidding? I've worked as a waitress for years and I would never be so blatantly rude to customers. We took a menu- you had to put it back. Get over it. Nice food but cranky staff would put me off going again.

The Hat and Tun is our usual place to go after work Thursday and Friday evening, good atmosphere and very friendly staff!Only thing that could be better is more random selection of beers on the tap.

Pint & Pint £8 - excellent, but we had 2 people not drinking, they specifically asked if they could have a coke in place of the beer for the same price, they said yes but then charged them £1.50 more..Bill should have been £37 and were charged just shy of £60 - luckily we spotted it, apparently a fault with the till... hmm.Took about 15 minutes for them to sort the bill out and were so flippant about it.

I love this old pub.... It has kept its period charm and authenticity. Situated just off Hatton Garden and with many real ales this is what a pub should be like. Too many modern wannabes in London.... This is how pubs were and should remain

A great little traditional pub tucked away in Hatton Gardens. You can’t find better than their delicious pies and friendly team.

A 'real' english pub, with authentic features. Well kept beer and good food. I was visiting with some colleagues from overseas, despite arriving much later than planned the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The pies are a speciality and well worth trying.

Friendly staff, great pies - try the Lamb and Prune pie. A colleague enjoyed the fish pie, though I felt it was a little bland compared to the lamb and prune. Nice burgers. Gets very busy a lunchtime, so get there early to grab a table. Has occasional 'pop up' caterers take over a few days a week.

We had a lovely evening in the cosy Boardroom and a delicious dinner. There were 9 of us and whilst the room could have held more, it didn't feel too large.Marie did a great job of organising everything before we arrived so that everyone could just relax and enjoy. The menu catered for all our tastes and the food was delicious - everyone was happy with their menu choices. The staff were great, and struck the perfect balance between providing us with everything we could want while also leaving us to enjoy our privacy. Thank you Hat & Tun - I would recommend it highly for a family dinner to celebrate!

Two visits in a row they'd run out of half the items on their menu (even at the start of their lunch service!) leaving no choice for the vegetarians in the group. The burger, which costs £13, was charred to a cinder and absolutely tasteless. Used to be a nice place but what they've produced recently is terrible, and shocking given the price tag attached to it.

I recently threw a surprise birthday party here on a Saturday night and suffice to say the party was a huge success. The team on the night were fantastic, every little detail was taken care of and the drinks flowed and flowed. The kitchen whipped up a traditional English curry with all the trimmings which was put out as a buffet and went in record time.Our contact at the pub (Amy) was hugely helpful and made the whole thing a breeze.Separately we hired a brilliant acoustic duo who got the party started and we went until 1am.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the pub or the team.

The title says it all. The food menu is very good, but be careful of ordering the scotch eggs. They will come hard boiled (like a rock) and you will pay through the nose for it as well! The manager has no people skills and has no idea of handling a situation where the food being served to customers is quite frankly something you would expect from a service station on the M23. If you want a quick snack at lunch I suggest you go to the Tesco's round the corner. Better service, better food.

We found this pub by accident some three years ago when looking for a venue to hold a 60th birthday party. We visited it one evening just to check it out and loved the pub; a great old pub with a good atmosphere. We therefore decided to make enquiries with a view to holding our party there. Everything was perfect and we therefore decided to use it again a couple of weeks ago for another party.Both parties were family events, involving two year old children to 70+ year old adults and every age in between. On this occasion, Amy was our contact and was very helpful with advising on food quantities. We knew exactly what we wanted because it had been so successful in 2012 and Amy played her part in ensuring it worked again.On the night of the party, shortly after arriving, the manager (sorry I didn't get his name) came up to us and told us that someone had ordered a wine that we hadn't chosen and asked if it was OK. He added that he had given them the wine because it was a similar price to what we had requested but he wanted to know whether he should serve it again if asked. We told him that that was fine but that we had appreciated his checking. Just a small thing but some managers may not have checked and just served it regardless. That basically summed up the service we received.The bar staff were excellent and there didn't seem to be any queues or delays in serving people. Particular mention should go to the female staff, who went above and beyond in making two little girls (aged 5 and 6) feel welcome and very much part of the event. A lot of people would ignore little girls wanting a drink but not this staff; the little girls were treated the same as the adults and they felt very grown up. The little girls felt they'd made friends for life, even exchanging names with staff.As to the food, we had the mixed platters and hot baps/sandwiches, which had been so well received previously. Again, they were of top notch quality and the service was quick and efficient.All in all, I can't recommend this pub enough for a private party - not just a lovely old pub but great staff. I hope we get an excuse to use it again soon!Many thanks to all concerned!

We rented out the venue for our engagement party and it was the best night! All of our guests said they had a really lovely time, and the staff were all great and were very friendly. Amy, the Event Manager, was so lovely and made the whole process so easy. It was such an amazing and special evening and my fiancé and I couldn't have been happier.

I held my 50th party at the Hat & Tun last Saturday and had a fantastic time. All of the staff at the venue were incredibly professional and helpful and made sure the night went smoothly, keeping me updated on spending behind the bar throughout the night. I would happily use the Hat and Tun again for any future parties.

I was looking for an intimate venue with lots of character for my 40th and am really pleased I decided to go with Hat & Tun. The events and management team from Monique to Amy were very professional and everything they said would be delivered was, including great food, plenty of bar staff, quickly and well served drinks with a smile.And as I mention, the gem is the venue itself. We had our 40th birthday celebration as a private event at the Hat and Tun on Saturday and had an amazing night. The Events team who initially arranged the booking were lovely and helpful explaining our options and minimum spend requirements, which were very reasonable. On the actual night, Monique and her team were brilliant - they made sure we knew where we were on the spend side and served drinks and cleared empties away efficiently - they really made our party go smoothly and were great fun too. Many of our guests complimented our venue - we'd definitely recommend it. Thanks again.

I felt I had to write a review as all the staff were fantastic. We booked our engagement party for a Saturday evening. The events team were a great help before and during the event and all the bar and waiting staff were so attentive and a pleasure to have them at our party. The catering was enjoyed by all and a great selection of drinks are available. This really is a great pub run by a great team of people. Definitely give it a go if you are in the area.

I was the organiser of our work Christmas do and have received nothing but high praise for the evening from colleagues. People told me they had a really fun evening ("it was so much better than last year" !) and loved the fact that we had exclusive use of the pub. The relaxed environment was conducive to conversations with colleagues and it was great that we were able play our own music until 12:30am. The duty managers were charming and very communicative throughout the evening, the food was very tasty and there was a good selection of beers that people were able to use with their drinks tokens that I had created based on our budget. We hired the Hat and Tun for a work do and we could not fault it. The staff were friendly and they were extremely organised. The food was good and all food and drinks are reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Brilliant venue to have a party! I had my 30th birthday at the Hat and Tun and having exclusive hire made it special. Cool, traditional decor, helpful staff and Nadia ensured everything ran smoothly during the booking process. If you order the bowl menu, bear in mind the portions are snack size, I was expecting them to be bigger but they were tasty. All in all a great place and would recommend.

We chose to have our wedding reception at this pub - it is a perfect size for a small event, has classic dark wood decor along with taxidermy which immediately appealed to us. The event manager ensured a smooth and stress-free experience and the food on the day surpassed our expectations as was even better than the taster we had tried earlier. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we along with our guests had an evening to remember.

WHAT AN AMAZING VENUE for a wedding reception.The food (3 course set menu with vegetarian options which was organised in consultation with the wedding party) was first rate: the beef wellington was exquisute. All the fare here tonight was made on the premises. Couple the amazing food, with the outstanding staff service, and.....if anyone is looking for a great wedding venue then, at Tge Hat & Tun, you WILL NOT GO WRONG!

There were 10 in total which was way too many for them to handle in one go on a day which didn't appear to be too busy. Food took too long and the £12.50 burger, I could have got in wetherspoons for a fiver with a free pint. They brought the wrong meal to me friend as they'd ran out of what they were supposed to be offering.. What a joke. The staff didn't seem to fussed either. The pie had some good feedback though but never again for lunch.

The service was great, very professional and friendly. Buffet food from the pub was high quality, good selection of drinks. Nadia (who sorts out the bookings) was also very helpful throughout. Very highly recommended.

This is a characterful pub at the northern edge of Hatton Garden. Its blackboard outside advertises traditional pie 'n' mash in various guises plus a pint for £11.95. This traditional dish, however, only occupies a small corner of a larger menu which also includes fish and chips, steak, doorstopper sandwiches and the like. All very comfort food rather than haute cuisine but none the worst for that. On arrival I was directed to choose a table by the female barstaff whom I noted had developed quite a rapport with those who followed me in who were clearly regulars. I opted for a lamb and prune pie with mash which contained lean chunks if meat in a flaky pastry crust with a fluffy swirl of mash in a separate bowl. All in all much superior to the pie mash and green gunge I sampled a few months ago in a dedicated pie 'n' mash establishment in Greenwich. And the surroundings here were much more salubrious too. After a pint if cider I finished my meal with a double espresso which I note is more than you can get at the eminent Eagle gastropub only a stone's throw away (their coffee is exclusively of the stewed variety).

Such a great venue.We hired it in July for a rendezvous with out friends, as we have been living in Hong Kong for years. It was the perfect size for the 60 guests.From the easy booking through Nadia, to the fabulous bar staff and wonderful food, I not recommend this place highly enough!

We hired the pub exclusively for our leaving drinks as we are emigrating to Singapore next week. Venue was a perfect size for 80 guests and drinks very reasonably priced. The staff were very professional and extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this venue!

Came here by myself one night after work during a business trip as I had heard they had a pub quiz, and was missing my weekly one with my friends back home the same night. The place was great, and the guy hosting the pub quiz was awesome and super good at what he does. Had a venison pie that was absolutely stellar, and the drink selection was great too. Didn't win the £100 bar tab but that's probably for the best, liver-wise. Definitely recommended.

We had our Engagement Party at the Hat and Tun and I would thoroughly recommend it. The venue was great for the 85 guests we had, the atmosphere inside was lovely and the staff were nothing short of excellent. Nothing was too much for them and they ensured any requests were dealt with in a smooth and professional way.We had a fantastic evening, I would recommend this as a venue for a higher number of people as we had, as it manages to still feel intimate without being cramped inside. 10/10!!

We had our work Christmas meal here in the bar area. There were 37 of us in total and all the feedback on food and service has been excellent. A couple of people turned up late and their food was kept warm for them which was very helpful. Nadia, the events manager was a pleasure to deal with in booking this and everything was excellent. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had our work Xmas meal recently at this venue within the bar area, the staff were excellent and responded to any additional request we had. We actually had a bit of a disaster where one additional person turned up for the meal. The staff at the Hat and Tun were extremely helpful in setting an extra place at the table and arranging the extra meal at short notice. The service we had throughout the meal was excellent as was the food. I can not recommend this pub enough to anyone wanting to arrange a group meal.

A fantastic venue for a party, lots of atmosphere and friendly, professional staff.I hired the Hat & Tun for my 50th birthday. It was a great venue and lots of my guests said that they really liked the traditional feel of the place. There was a good selection of food and drink to chose from. The staff were professional and friendly, especially Nadia and her brother Ljupco, who helped me make the party my own. I invited 80 people and it was spacious enough.

I hired the hat and tun to host my sisters hen party and we had such a great time. Nadia who is their party planner was so accommodating and created a delicious menu for us with three options per course to chose from. The bar staff were brilliant and kindly put our decorations up before we arrived. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, they have a great wine list and we couldn't have asked for better service. They also have a fab sound system which is ideal for parties, I couldn't recommend the hat and tun enoughThank you!

This is a nice little pub in Hatton Garden with a very typical pub feel - but it is part of ETM chain so one expects the food to be really good - sadly it is very average. Can't complain about the service except that the staff have all discovered how to avoid eye contact when you want to pay the bill. Probably wont go back.

Went for lunch a few days ago and was really surprised. Firstly that this place existed as i thought I knew most of the pubs in this area and secondly how nice it was for a lunch. The beer was well kept and went well with the cottage pie, which itself was really tasty. Will definitely be going back.

We booked a table at 1pm on a Friday. Having ordered our food we waited 30 minutes before enquiring how long we had to wait and they told us they had not even started on our food. They did not apologise and it was not overly busy. They seem really unorganised and need some structure. Not a cool place to go if you are on a lunch break or indeed if you want to eat quickly. This pub is a real find, especially in winter months with the fire place and nice homemade pies. We visited on a Monday night and also played the quiz, great Quiz Master guy and very entertaining. They also have 3 ales on tap so that's a goer for me and my friends.

The Hat and Tun is part of a group of pubs owned by ETM Group - I think they have 6 or 7 in total. We had our wedding reception here on a Saturday evening and it was great.The events co-ordinator and the team on-site on the day could not have been more helpful to us and I think they even quite enjoyed themselves as well!The food is gastro-esq; think sausage and mash, fish pie etc. They were fine with us bringing our own cakes and other stuff and even gave us a good deal on champagne.Best of all we only had to make a low minimum spend in order to have the party there; no booking fee as the pub is closed to the public at the weekend.A great venue for a party.

Not the easiest location to find, but the food and drink selection is first rate.Real ales, ciders and a cozy urban atmosphere make this a great place for lunch. I had the venison and juniper berry pot pie... great! My teenage kids loved the place.The Hat & Tun is not your typical British pub. It's more upscale with off-white and black decor. The staff is friendly and the little alcove in the back is a great place to have lunch for four to six people.

The Hat and Tun in London is a very authentic pub serving good pub style food and real ales. Interesting local clientele add to the atmosphere.

Home-made scotch egg was lovely... and a meal in front of the fire when there's snow outside was just perfect. However, it was £30 (no alcohol) for two sandwiches a shared started and coffee... slightly pricey. Nice though.

We visited the Hat and Tun as part of a team lunch and had heard good things. Had a good atmosphere with very helpful staff, who were almost too helpful at times when we were asked if we would like to order a number of times after ordering. The food was as expected from a pub like this, perfectly acceptable and the price was reasonable when we opted for the pie and beer for a tenner. Would attend again, but not rush back to eat.

We waited for a table at the back as the tables by the bar were surrounded by bar drinkers right on top of you and that was a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise a great place !

Great for a chilled out friday lunch!

A sympathetically restored old London pub. Great atmosphere with a good spread of comfy tables that makes you just want to sit and enjoy the space. The one failing [from our visit] is that the extremely tempting menu isn’t available in the evenings, so we were left salivating over the description of the house burger and all it’s accompaniments and ended up having to trudge a couple of hundred yards past Farringdon Station to get fed.However, a great place to meet friends for a bottle of wine and a chat. Not too crowded mid week and not full of people outside drinking on the payment.

The Hat and Tun never fails to satisfy.. friendly, helpful staff serving great food in a lovely environment.

The staff are amazing - always greeting you with a smile and the food is fantastic!!<br /><br />I had dinner in another of the pubs from this group a few nights ago and what a difference!! They could certainly learn a thing about customer service from the staff at the Hat and Tun!!

My friend and I met for lunch at The Hat and Tun on Tuesday and we were disappointed to find it pretty much empty, meaning there was little ambience. The space itself is lovely so perhaps too early in the week to really get a feel for the place. My soup was fine, nothing special but the main let down was the goats cheese salad - very ordinary. Way too much lettuce (and of the bitter variety), nothing much else in it and for the money way overpriced.

Had a business lunch at The Hat and Tun in London. It is a pub, an it served good quality pub food - I had bangers & mash, my colleaue had a salt beef sandwich. Good quality, pleasant atmosphere

This is my second time eating at the Hat and Tun in the past 2 weeks, testament itself to how highly I rate this pub. I love the atmosphere and decor but most impressive are the staff who are always welcoming, friendly and prompt to serve you whether it be for food or drinks. The food itself today was much better than last time and the menu now has an even greater selection. My French clients were most impressed as was I! Can&#039;t wait to get back for the best Shepherd&#039;s Pie in London!

The Hat and Tun is a great venue with the most friendly, attentive staff. <br /><br />The food was good although my sausages were slightly overcooked but the mash was superb! My colleagues Shepherds Pie was delicious however it could do with being served with a side of vegetables rather than on it&#039;s own. <br /><br />Good to see they have extended their menu but still no chips!! <br /><br />Overall, great venue, fantastic staff but the food could be improved on.

Good food.. not the best of menus but the friendly staff make up for it. Nice atmosphere - especially the table by the fire!
