Having lost the weird American Food offering and the Elvis Obsession, this is actually a very good pub now. Quality live music, and a free jukebox early evening on a Saturday if there's no entertainment. Despite being short, the landlady is quite flexible and can just about reach all parts of the bar area. Her commitment to customer service is confirmed by her willingness to hammer a packet of pork scratchings in to manageable sized pieces, and to keep Big Al fed and out of prison Sharna is awesome.

Absolutely superb, keeping to the basics and doing it well. So well in fact we went for more the following day. Smash burgers and seasoned fries were sensational, still talking about it now lol.

After seeing the Harp was under new management me and a few friends decided to give it a try. We were amazed at how far it has come recently! The interior is bright and cheerful, with somewhat of a cosy atmosphere! The food and selection of drinks was brilliant with something to suit each of us! The staff were very helpful and attentive looking after us from the moment we stepped through the door! One friend has a severe food allergy which was no problem for the server who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The food tasted amazing and was very reasonably priced! We will be returning in the near future, one of the best local restaurants in the high street!

After a wonderful experience at The crown, we popped over to their sister pub ‘The Harp’ and what a lovely little pub it is. We visited here a few years ago and it was dark and dingy but WOW what a turnaround. Lovely and bright, same customer service as we received over the road at the crown. The live music they had on was fab, nice to see them making this place great again. Be sure to visit again soon and try the new menu that they were telling us about. Also looking forward to seeing what else they do with this pub to keep improving it. So far so good 😊

Came to Bridgnorth for a day out with 2 friends. After walking around the high street we decided to visit the Harp for its American theme menu. We had 2 Hotdogs and a Beef burger which tasted amazing! The staff were very engaging and helpful as 2 of us have severe allergys. The staff made sure we were attended to and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant time and all our needs were met. We will be returning in the near future.

Were recommended to the harp and had been in some time ago so we knew it was ok. Only one serving at the bar.. staff hadn’t turned up. Ordered cottage pie and was told it was 20 minute wait. That was ok but after 40 minutes l had to ask how much longer it was going to be..”it’s just being done”. 13 minutes later it arrived. No one came to us to apologise for the wait. The girl did only when she put our meals down. A couple ordered the same thing 5 minutes earlier and they hadn’t had theirs either. The place was fairly busy but only drinker. There wasn’t much mince and potato topping was sloppy as if boiled too much in the water. We ate it because we were hungry and being diabetic needed to eat. Such a shame. It’s a friendly pub if your face fits l feel. Wasn’t very welcoming.

Don’t be fooled by grubby exterior. Inside is shockingly spacious. New owner - enthusiastic and very pleasant. Guy taking drinks orders needs to wear his mask over his nose. Lady who bought drinks over offered to take my debit card away to tap, then as an after thought offered to bring the machine over. Hopefully these initial teething problems will sort themselves out as overall drinks were good and not over priced.

This place is simply fantastic!!!! The bar staff are extremely tasty, much like their selection of delicious beverages!Ooohhffff!!! I just can't get enough! The toilets are devine, great quality toilet paper which is more than can be said for the local competitors. You can't beat a confident flush. If you're in the local area, do pop in and sample their delectables!

Nicely kept ale (although only one choice on the night), obviously a community pub with a loyal clientele, but friendly and welcoming to a solo customer just the same.

Went to the Harp today for lunch. Cottage pie, chips, peas, and lashes of gravy. Just £4.95. Basic home cooked food I know but was extremely enjoyable. These latest owners have only been in residence for 6 weeks, I wish them well.

This olde quaint pub/ restaurant is impeccably run by Sean and Tasha. The hospitality shown by Tasha was both welcoming and warm . Service was prompt, and the food was fabulously delicious, Sean was working in the kitchen, obviously the mystro chef. This couple work hard and will be successful without a doubt.

We headed to Dee Dee's firstly because it is situated within The Range store, where we happened to be browsing, and secondly, because it advertised that it was serving Costa Coffee. We were killing time, waiting for a relative to undergo a hospital appointment, but we waited a LONG time to be served. I actually began to time it on my watch, silly I know, but I was beginning to think that we would have to ditch our idea of a coffee and head back to the hospital. In the end, we waited a little over 18 minutes to be served. Yes, the coffee was Costa, but not served Barista style, more of the kind of machine one finds in a buffet breakfast at a hotel, select your drink, press the appropriate button and the machine dispenses the drink. The staff seemed to be rushed off their feet, with one young lady taking orders and delivering coffees and another, older and more experienced lady putting together the food orders. One felt for them, as they were clearly understaffed and rushed off their feet. Yet, being British, we all stood there and queued! Costa coffee is okay, not nearly as special as it would like to think, but we got what we paid for. The seating area was nicely laid out, sufficient space between tables, but it was all rather canteen, rather than a coffee / cafe /bistro experience. The management should really look at their staffing levels and help out the current members, who are doing their best.

So where do I start, let me start by praising certain members of staff such as the chef and a young waitress who were both nothing but lovely. Our issue (not the first time) is that a male bar tender who looked like Steve cooper (Leicester manager) made a comment our dog had jumped up at the door (literally 2 seconds and then sat down). I’m sorry but, this is dog behaviour and in advertising that you are dog friendly it is accepted that you understand such. We were made to feel apologetic for having a dog, which in a country pub should not be the case. 90% of the uk population have an increase in dopamine when seeing a dog or having interaction with a dog. Sadly we have been made to feel uncomfortable drinking and eating here, We will be attending the PLOUGH pub in Pontesbury from now on. Very sad!!!!!!!!!

Found by accident while out driving around the area. Popped in for a quick lunch about 2.30. Quits a few people in there. Burger and chips were nice. Coffee was good. Toilet was clean also. Would be a good destination if it wasn't pouring with rain as could sit outside.
