The Hailstone in Sandwell

It was my first time ordering here I made an order for collection whicg was done less than half hour the food was a 10/10 iv lived close by for a few years but takeaways in this local area are not anything to rave about but i was super surprised and satisfied with my meal defo will be returning soon thank you very much.

Had the most amazing takeaway tonite piping hot and full of flavour would highly recommend the best Indian food we have had in a long time

Third time ordering takeaway from here and it was so tasty. Best takeaway in the area. We will be visiting the restaurant soon to dine in. Try it, you won't be disappointed with The Hailstone.

So I currently ordered online with my order and soon after realised I had lost my purse so had no cash or card to pay , I kindly rang up to explain the situation where who ever was on the phone was extreme rude to me !! I rang 4 mins after placing my order , I get you may of started the food but I don’t know what you expect me to with no cash or card to pay you !!! Please think of others ,not just about ur curry’s I have lost my money and cards use here regularly I will not be using these again !!!

We ordered a take-away from Hailstones for two, delivery time excellent, food was hot the only issue we had was that the food was to salty and was practically inedible. After eating about a quarter of the take-away we had to stop due to the amount of salt, very disappointed as we do not normally have a bad meal from Hailstones when we have ordered

We had a takeaway delivered from The Hailstones and we loved every bit of it. Food was delivered on time and it was really delicious. If we could put 10 stars we would, however it only allows for 5! Really enjoyed the food with the family and will visit soon for a sit down. Keep it up 👍🏼

We ordered a takeaway from The Hailstone as we had visited prior to lockdown. The meal arrived exactly at the time we had ordered it. The food was well packed for delivery. The food was labelled well and it was 'piping hot'! We had ordered 3 different meals and they were all beautifully cooked, with fresh ingredients and really good portion sizes. I would definitely recommend and will use again! Excellent service 🌟🌟🌟

The Hailstone is our"go to" restaurant ,since the lockdown we've phoned every Saturday night for a delivery. Garlic chilli nantra and prawn pathia tonight were of an outstanding quality as is all food from this restaurant. Keep the good work up until you open to the public once again.

We had a curry delivered last Sunday from the hailstones as we were originally going on Saturday for a meal there with some friends but obviously due to what’s going on 😢we couldn’t go . Food was absolutely delicious 😋 as usual this is our favourite curry 🍛 house now , our son Josh introduced us to here a while ago . The staff are all attentive and can’t do enough for you , miss not seeing them , look forward to going again when everything back to normal . Going to order another takeaway for this evening yum 😋

First time we have used this Indian (in lockdown too ) best chicken madras iv had in a long time can’t wait to visit your restaurant after all this is over will be ordering again if you are able to stay open

Rubbish food rubbish service would rather eat my own vomit than go there again stay away people had a take away and half of the food was missing.

Food was excellent but the delivery is always very slow. On a Tuesday evening it took 1h15m. If you don't mind the wait then the food is excellent.

Great menu and service! Sit down meal with good food! Would recommend locally as a good option for a take away or sit down meal! Food was tasty!

Phoned for a takeaway _ was told 30 - 40 minutes. In the end waited for about an hour and a half. My son's chicken was not nice and the nana bread hardly warm. Really poor service tonight. Was busy though, not seen it like this for ages, but won't be seeing it again thankfully.

Tried the takeaway for the first time tonight. Absolutely delicious!! Had to wait longer than expected for delivery but definately worth it

Family and friends x 23 visited the restaurant on new year's day. Tables set out so we could chat across easily. Food orders came out in 4s. All meals were rated exceptional. Staff friendly and very helpful. I've been a regular visitor since opening day....

This restaurant is lovely, We love eating in the conservatory, staff very friendly. Prices reasonable. They do the best salmon tikka deluxe. Unlicensed, so you can take your own drinks. We love this. Highly recommended 😍😍

had a takeout and the food wasn't hot enough but it tasted ok, but when i dined in things were completely different

We went here I the 21st March. The place was lovely and the food was excellent. The owner even came to see if everything was alright. We will defiantly be going again.

This restaurant is lovely. The staff are friendly and the owner always makes time to come and talk to his customers. Food is fresh and served quickly. A high class restaurant which residents of Rowley deserves.

We visited on a Saturday night in January. The restaurant was busy which we thought was a good sign...it wasn't.It felt as though a lot of the time was spent waiting; for waiters to approach us, for our order to be taken, for the food (nearly an hour) and a further wait for the bill.The food wasn't worth waiting for; husband thought his was ok but mine was watery.It didn't feel like there was a system, just lots of employees running around and shouting (from the kitchen) at each other occasionally. The waiter that took our payment was apologetic which I appreciated but it didn't change the fact that we'd had a bad experience.I felt guilty as we would usually leave a tip after a meal but on this occasion I couldn't.I don't think there's much that’s appealing about the restaurant to be honest. Wanted to like it as its so near for us but next time we will happily travel to Lye to our usual for a better standard of food and a much higher level of service.

We're do I start a very beautiful Restraunt which was a pub before but the guys have done a good job, food was on point everything tasted fresh and amazing , staff were really friendly and hosting and made us feel welcomed , I would recommend this place to any1 out there who's look for a amazing night out

visted the hailstone for daughters birthday,although clean/well presented after waiting for around 40 mins for our meals we were far from impressed,each dish seemed sloppy lacking in taste .imagination and quality,even thou you could take your own drink in there im afaird the hailstone failed to deliver and was disappointing,at least the narne bread was ok,look elsewhere.

We saw that the old Hailstone Pub was being converted into a Bangladeshi restaurant and were very excited. We booked for the first Friday they opened and reserved our table. Very clean, large a little bit too bright but absolutely lovely. We had starters, mains and sides and were very impressed.The shish kebab starter was absolutely lovely, well presented and hot.The main of chicken tikka balti and chicken saag balti was also lovely and hot, we also had garlic fried rice and garlic naan. The service was a little slow but this did not matter as the food was lovely and worth waiting for.This restaurant is not licensed but this is not a problem as there is a fantastic off license next door which sells all the drinks you could ask for.The waiters/staff are really friendly, food is lovely and hot well presented.The nicest part was the bill which was exceptionally reasonable for what was purchased,Have now visited this restaurant twice and are going again for a Birthday shortly.All in all a little less light and would recommend blinds at the front windows as everyone is looking in but definitely a Rowley gem!!!!! Well done all... Well worth a visit ps excellent parking Andy C
