Food was ok - butter chicken a bit bland but rest of meal ok - EXCEPT they gave us all the wrong food ! Ordered keema naan and got plain ditto for cheese naan ! Customer service was awful

It was my first time ordering here I made an order for collection whicg was done less than half hour the food was a 10/10 iv lived close by for a few years but takeaways in this local area are not anything to rave about but i was super surprised and satisfied with my meal defo will be returning soon thank you very much.

So I currently ordered online with my order and soon after realised I had lost my purse so had no cash or card to pay , I kindly rang up to explain the situation where who ever was on the phone was extreme rude to me !! I rang 4 mins after placing my order , I get you may of started the food but I don’t know what you expect me to with no cash or card to pay you !!! Please think of others ,not just about ur curry’s I have lost my money and cards use here regularly I will not be using these again !!!

We ordered a take-away from Hailstones for two, delivery time excellent, food was hot the only issue we had was that the food was to salty and was practically inedible. After eating about a quarter of the take-away we had to stop due to the amount of salt, very disappointed as we do not normally have a bad meal from Hailstones when we have ordered

We had a takeaway delivered from The Hailstones and we loved every bit of it. Food was delivered on time and it was really delicious. If we could put 10 stars we would, however it only allows for 5! Really enjoyed the food with the family and will visit soon for a sit down. Keep it up 👍🏼

We ordered a takeaway from The Hailstone as we had visited prior to lockdown. The meal arrived exactly at the time we had ordered it. The food was well packed for delivery. The food was labelled well and it was 'piping hot'! We had ordered 3 different meals and they were all beautifully cooked, with fresh ingredients and really good portion sizes. I would definitely recommend and will use again! Excellent service 🌟🌟🌟

The Hailstone is our"go to" restaurant ,since the lockdown we've phoned every Saturday night for a delivery. Garlic chilli nantra and prawn pathia tonight were of an outstanding quality as is all food from this restaurant. Keep the good work up until you open to the public once again.

We had a curry delivered last Sunday from the hailstones as we were originally going on Saturday for a meal there with some friends but obviously due to what’s going on 😢we couldn’t go . Food was absolutely delicious 😋 as usual this is our favourite curry 🍛 house now , our son Josh introduced us to here a while ago . The staff are all attentive and can’t do enough for you , miss not seeing them , look forward to going again when everything back to normal . Going to order another takeaway for this evening yum 😋

First time we have used this Indian (in lockdown too ) best chicken madras iv had in a long time can’t wait to visit your restaurant after all this is over will be ordering again if you are able to stay open

Food was excellent but the delivery is always very slow. On a Tuesday evening it took 1h15m. If you don't mind the wait then the food is excellent.

Great menu and service! Sit down meal with good food! Would recommend locally as a good option for a take away or sit down meal! Food was tasty!

Tried the takeaway for the first time tonight. Absolutely delicious!! Had to wait longer than expected for delivery but definately worth it

Phoned for a takeaway _ was told 30 - 40 minutes. In the end waited for about an hour and a half. My son's chicken was not nice and the nana bread hardly warm. Really poor service tonight. Was busy though, not seen it like this for ages, but won't be seeing it again thankfully.

Family and friends x 23 visited the restaurant on new year's day. Tables set out so we could chat across easily. Food orders came out in 4s. All meals were rated exceptional. Staff friendly and very helpful. I've been a regular visitor since opening day....

Came here with my partner for our anniversary meal, food was fantastic and was very tasty, presentation is lacking as it looked quite messy on the plate. overall, it was good.

I had a take away from here absolutely beautiful I walk past one day and I see some one building something I find out its a car wash... Seriously why not put a mini climbing frame for the kids and an out door bbq for...

Went here for my birthday meal. Used to live on Broad street in Birmingham but this is hands down best curry place I’ve been to. Have to bring your own booze which in turn makes it cheaper. Service fantastic, food amazing and I’m always ordering from here if I get a takeaway.

Visited with my mom as we love Asian cuisine. Unfortunately the food was awful & although it had to be sent back, it came back even worse! Food really didn’t have any kick & next batch sent out just tasted like chicken in tomato ketchup warmed up. Having explained this to owner/manager he said we should ask for extra spice as we obviously are used to more spicy curries! Not what you expect at all! Also hardly anyone in there hence atmosphere wasn’t great & felt we were just being watched by staff as they were just standing around. Really not the greatest night out at all.

Our old local and pub of many a happy session, good to see the place back open and serving the local community albeit now as a restaurant. We visited to celebrate a relatives 80th birthday, we knew there was no alcohol licence so we took our own drinks. Well spaced comfortable furniture, good service & tasty food helped us have an enjoyable evening. Reasonably priced good food and definitely a place we will revisit perhaps a seat in the conservatory area next time.

Another fantastic meal. The Salmon Tikka Deluxe is out of this world. My gluten free diet is well taken care of, but you must inform the staff of your dietary needs. My husband is happy with the low fat dishes. I have never had so many choices. I can eat at the Hailstone’s with confidence. Food always hot and well presented.

Ahora mi casa ir a curry y habrá incluso cuando me muevo unos kilómetros más lejos en breve. El personal siempre fue muy amable y servicial. El lugar está impecable de limpio. Y la comida es deliciosa. Práctico poco puerta siguiente licencia ya que no tienen una licencia en sí.

Great menu lots of choice love it here such a friendly atmosphere too. The staff are all so good particularly the chef who never serves up a bad meal. Doesn't matter if you eat in or have a takeaway you will not be disappointed.

Estado aquí un par de veces, y nunca nos decepcionó. El personal es amable y su manera de asegurarse de que su visita es uno de los buenos. La comida es muy sabrosa, y a un precio razonable. Completo con toallas calientes para limpiarse las manos después de los platos principales.

La cantidad de comida era mucho más de lo que esperábamos, todo muy bien cocinado y servido con rapidez. Una excelente comida antes de nuestro viaje de regreso a casa. Una ventaja es poder llevar tus propias bebidas, así que sin duda volveremos.

La comida era muy sabrosa y el servicio era genial! 15 de nosotros fuimos a la última noche de cumpleaños Hailstone mi nieta de 9 años. Todos elegimos cosas diferentes, pero la comida llegó rápidamente y caliente y pudimos comer en el mismo tiempo! Sin duda volveremos, especialmente porque puede traer su propia bebida.

Yo puse una orden a través de comer solo, 2 horas y media más tarde, incluye 2 teléfonos llamadas y una visita personal para probar y obtener un reembolso, finalmente llegó la comida. Completamente decepcionados con el servicio ofrecido, sin embargo 5 estrellas por la excusas de por qué tardó tanto tiempo. La comida era mediocre, así que mi única enmienda ahora a utilizar este restaurante de nuevo nunca. Amargamente decepcionado, ya que no es la primera muestra de servicio deficiente, pero será la última. Tuve que poner 1 estrellas, ya que no me deje en blanco.

Fuimos allí para mi cumpleaños, novia y había reservado una mesa, pero cuando llegamos allí no había reservado una mesa. Donde nos sentaron estaba frío. Pedimos nuestra comida y cuando empezaron a traer lo que trajo la mitad de pedir, pero por el momento todo salió la comida que trajo a primera iba frío. Desde el momento en que el primer plato llegaba hasta la última era de unos 15 minutos. Cuando hemos estado en el pasado han venido a la mesa para preguntar si todo está bien, esta vez no porque sabían que el servicio le habían dado estaba mal

Just had a takeaway collection, food tastes very fresh and full of flavours , i ordered a chicken pakora and chicken chat purée , which was full of flavour not to spicy , had for main king prawn biryani could do with more flavour but the garlic chicken sag was very nice I could taste the different flavours , would definitely be using it again

El Hailstone destacan es el restaurante indio y zona de dudley tiene para ofrecer. Está impecable dentro y clientes tienen la opción de comer en el restaurante principal o conservatorio. El servicio es excelente, el personal es cortés y amable y la comida es bien vale la pena el viaje. Hemos venido aquí 3 veces al mes y el personal nos conoce por nombre. La mayoría de los restaurantes no les importa menos aún no saben su identidad. Si estás en la zona y quieres una comida india diríjase aquí. Su licencia, así que tome la onu tus propias bebidas. Las comidas de los niños son también generosas porciones. De nuevo esta noche.

Llevé a mi hijo de 15 años para sus primeras (restaurante) curry. Elegí el Hailstone debido a las críticas y decente no me decepcionó. El personal era amable y simpático. Poppadoms eran frescas y fresca. El balti + panes Nan eran excelentes. El gerente vinieron preguntando si todo estaba bien + tenía poco de broma y reír con nosotros. A un precio muy razonable y sin licencia que mantiene el precio aún más. Nos dieron un menú para llevar antes de que nos fuéramos. En resumen, un sitio precioso y que nos visite de nuevo. Altamente recomendado.

just back from the hailstone, poppadoms were stale . starter had no flavour and chicken pathia didnt taste like nothing never go there again. to top it all had the runs as soon as i got home . stay away

Hemos tenido unas cuantas tiendas de ella y ha sido bueno, pero los dos últimos tiempos no hemos enviado artículos que pedimos. Esta vez nos dijeron que no había pedido y que no ya que leer por nosotros y él era bastante brusco, así que no será pedir de nuevo o visitar de nuevo. Y la comida no era de la calidad que hemos tenido en el pasado.

Excellent meal. Everything tasted fresh...fries(OK! ) poppadoms, sauce, onion, Naan's (exceptional).All suppllimented an excellent curry. Delivered on time, we will certainly be using again.

We go to the Hailstone most Saturday evenings, and have taken several family members, who have also returned.The staff are very nice and helpful if unsure what to choose.I must admit this is my favourite place to have my curry.I fully recommend you try.

Firstly I booked to not be put in the conservatory (other reviews said it was loud) when we arrived I gave my name and was put in the conservatory but seeing as it was quiet I didn't make a fuss. Later on a party arrived and it got very noisy.Food wise, the starter was delicious and we had high hopes for the main but it was very disappointing. My husband's meal looked lovely but had no taste whatsoever except garlic (being off the garlic part of the menu we expected this but we didn't expect it to be the only flavour)I asked for my bhuna to be made mild. I realise this can be hit and miss from other restaurant experience as sometimes cream is used to dull the heat. To me this is a cop out as I have had delicious meals elsewhere where the chef has just Omitted the heat and left the dish as it should be. Adding cream just makes any dish like a masala sauce which is lovely but I didn't fancy a creamy sauce otherwise I would have ordered one!When I told a staff member my husband's dish was very bland he offered to take it back to add more spice which wouldn't have enhanced the flavour at all, just the heat!Staff we're friendly but seemed inexperienced. They were apologetic when we told them we were disappointed with our meals but no effort was made to recompense. The manager said he would 'inform the chef' when I said dumbing down heat with cream is unacceptable. Garlic Naan bread was tasteless unless you like garlic then all you can taste afterwards is garlic.We've been left with a bad taste in our mouths literally and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Heard about this place from friends and family and local people and was told it's a place not to be missed and definite they were 110% correct amazing food and quality and best of all the place it's self is like beautiful

Having visited my sister last week who lives in Birmingham we went for a dinner meal.It was a very nice restaurant and clean . A perfect place to dine with family.We received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The team working on that day was very professional and the service was not too long to wait. We had a good evening there. Actually i live in France and on my next trip to Birmingham i will come back again to enjoy the delicious food they serve. I recommend this restaurant to people who visit Birmingham for the price and welcome . Keep it up . See u soon

Have had a couple of takeaways and eaten in here,but last week we ordered a takeaway to pickup and was not impressed,lamb was fatty and naan breads were cold and soggy,sorry to say wont be ordering from there again.

Had evening meal with friends. .. made a change from Friday takeaway. Food has never been less than good so well worth a visit. prices are ok and although they don't do alcohol there is a good quality shop open late next door should you need a tipple for which they are happy to oblige

We use this restaurant regularly and the quality of the food is only surpassed by the attention of the staff.Yesterday was a new experience, a first Christmas Dinner for both them and ourselves as visitors and what an experience.There was no hurry to literally throw the food at you and move you on, we spent 4 hours in the company of great friends and between our party we had virtually every choice on the Christmas Day menu. As always they were tweaked as necessary to give each guest their preferred spice (yes Wahid knows us well now). And the attention to detail was fantastic with a number of checks to make sure my mother in law, who'd never previously set foot in an Indian Restaurant, was ok.We want to do it all again next year as you made our day so special and having spoken to a number of other diners during the afternoon i think we might just need to book early!

The food here is delicious, there is a special offer on Wednesdays where you get pappadoms, starter, main meal and side dish for £10. It is extremely good value and worth worth a visit.

4 star only because they mixed our meals up, apart from that we really enjoyed it. Meals were of a high standard and wasn't overpriced either.

I found the Hailstone quite by accident as I don't go along the road its on very often. Spotting this "new" restaurant, I just had to give it a go and took the wife and daughter last Friday.There is no problem parking as it has its own car park. We were seated in the conservatory and to be be honest I wasn't impressed, the roof over it is quite grubby and off putting. perhaps it is just me but I would have preferred the smarter "inside" section. One other problem with the conservatory is that is does tend to amplify the noise levels and we found it it very loud on our night - I am sure they would have moved us if we had asked.The staff and the service was pleasant and timely although I suggest some of the guys are slightly inexperienced.Food wise there was very little to complain about, its good/very good but nothing special or different to the average restaurant either. The basic salad accompanying the starters being an example. We all enjoyed the taste of the sauce with our dishes but whilst my chicken tikka was excellent, my wife's plain chicken was quite dry. The tikka masalla sauce is more of an orange colour than red, but my daughter enjoyed it. All the sundries were very good. They are unlicensed but there is a NISA store next door, the beer there is a bit pricey but conversely they have a surprising Merlot at just £5 for two bottles!These days the average experience in an "Indian" restaurant is usually good and to be honest I didn't know whether to give it an average or very good rating, either way it was quite busy on the night and seems to have established itself. I would be happy to go back albeit not in the conservatory.I believe they do a Wednesday night special at £9.95, even without this offer it's still very good value.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times since it opened, including the opening night, and had takeaways. The food has always been excellent and the service good. There is parking available and though it is not licensed, the nisa next door, is available to buy wine or beer.l would recommend this restaurant. Well worth a visit.

This is a brilliant curry house and well worth a visit, staff are very attentive and willing to adapt the dishes for you, if you don't try a visit then order a takeaway they are equally as nice.
