Lovely staff very friendly service great, teacake I had on Thursday was beautiful

My son collected the cutlery and sat at the table waiting as usual while I ordered the food . The people in front of me who we had followed in ordered their food and then demanded my son moved to a different table so they could have it . He had no objection to moving but the next table still had used serviettes and food particles on and was told someone will clean it . Our food came out and placed on the table when I said please don't put it on here untill the table has been cleaned . It fell on deaf ears and the plates were left in front of us while the waitress returned with a damp cloth and a antibacterial bottle . She lifted the plates and wiped without using any antibacterial spray still leaving food particles and walked away with an attitude . Food was barely warm this time . Being a local business owner myself that sells cooked food was utterly shocked in the lapse of hygiene and customer care .

Been twice now , full English food was good and portion sizes are big Service is great family run business well worth a visit

Really nice place, wonderful coffee with a rich taste, the chicken was cooked perfectly, portion size is great and good value, and the staff were friendly. Am going back again to try other things on the menu really happy I went.

I only go in for coffee so can't comment on anything else but coffee and service both good

Had an amazing time at this establishment . The staff were very welcoming . It was only my second time there so the owner recommended a great selection of halal food which tastes amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast or lunch.

It was the first time I have been to The Grill and I will be returning. The customer service was excellent, friendly, helpful and a great atmosphere. We went with adults and children. The place is clean and the food is a good price and was delicious. I normally go to the Wetherspoons for breakfast but I think it’s so important to support smaller businesses who deliver to a higher standard! It’s a shame I live far away as the grill menu looks great. Thank you

Went here to compare it against the nearby wetherspoons, well I have to say it beats Spoons by a mile. Food was of good quality and very tasty. Price wise its on a par with Spoons but the better quality food makes it a far better choice. You can swop and change items to make up what you want but it seems like everyone is catered for from the off. Massive selection of food available. You'll be impressed.

Was in real need of a fry up as it's been a while, daughter mentioned the grill so we popped in for food, service was great and staff so welcoming, we ordered and got 10% discount for some reason, food is reasonably priced anyway so bargain. Food arrived reasonably quick, the food was piping hot and lovely, just what I needed, great tasting food at good prices and lovely staff, we will return. They also do Turkish food for those that want it.

Food was cold when got to me. Burger had no cheese no salad no sauce which I asked for. Chips were stone cold. And for a £30 order don't think I'd be a returning customer.

I would definitely recommend going to the grill. The food is brilliant and the frappe was even better.😋👌

massive breakfast just £7.95 absolutely amazing been comin here over 10 years

Went there and had a breakfast and the egg was disgusting it was cooked with burnt food on it. The next time I went in l had a ham sandwich there for too much butter on the bread and had to scrap some of. I think it will be a while before I go in there again

Honestly, the food is mostly fine but the owner/manager has a real people problem. He doesn't know how to communicate with people that are younger than him or female. A good example is a little girl asking for a straw and his response was to tell her she's lucky he has one. Dude, just give her a straw. She's a kid.

Went for a late breakfast. Staff were very friendly and food was lovely.

Can’t even follow basic instructions. Ordered via Uber eats two pork baguettes, which we had to pay extra for which is fine. Order arrived - soggy sliced white bread. How can you you get it so wrong? Pork was tough, stuffing so tasteless you couldn’t tell it was there and the gravy was nothing special. Wouldn’t recommend.

First time here today… food so fresh and tasty we tried the lamb koftas.. excellent… lovely relaxed atmosphere… will be back to try something else

We have come here for a number of years and con honestly say its just such a lovely welcoming friendly business. The breakfasts are always wonderful good portions and always lovely and hot. The tea and coffee are the best its our favourite bit having a lovely cuppa. You dont get much better than this place honestly go and try it for yourselfs xxx

Had a bad meal from here and spent all night feeling sick. Staff are very rude, missed some of my items our and called me a liar and was very aggressive when i went back in to tell them.

If you order to take out, eat in, or for delivery this food is incredible!! Always fresh and tasty. When visiting to eat in or take away the staff are always incredibly friendly and the cafe is always clean and tidy. 10/10 would recommend always use this place at least a couple times a week

Came here out of the blue, I had the most amazing bacon sandwich. The bread was light and fluffy, the bacon was very tasty. The staff are lovely and attentive, a special mention to Martin. (chef/manager) He makes you feel very valued and welcomes everyone. Would recommend a visit here.

I've been here a few times with different people and although the food is basic and wholesome it is good value for money. Always friendly staff and no pressure to vacate the table. Big enough not to be crowded. I like the breakfast here and latte coffee.

I eat breakfast at the Grill every Saturday. Today I ordered a large breakfast and a cup of tea for £5.25. I offered up two 5 pound notes as a I had no change. The guy serving me said they did not have change either and that I should go away and get some from the post office and refused to serve me. Never will I eat here again. Worst customer service ever. Lost my custom and my families custom for 25p. Well Done!!!!.

Omg! Just had £15 worth if food from here.. a massive breakfast.. and it was amazing.. my only quirk is they don't hive you an option for extra black pudding and exchange the drink for something else.. other than that... 5 out of 5 stars.. Well done guys, will most definitely be ordering from here again..!

I went for breakfast here this morning with my Husband & two Sons - The staff were very friendly & welcoming & the food was SO nice … As we were leaving one of the staff gave my Sons a lollipop each which I thought was a really lovely touch :)

Don't get me wrong useless really nice food but today was horrible waited 10 mins for cup of tea , then ordered a chicken salad cones with no onions no coleslaw had to pay extra for it and that was terrible never again

The Grill is amazing!! 👍 First time we was to have our lunch and was fantastic, nice meniu and you have a variety of what food you can order. Breakfast, lunch, grill, English and Turkish food. And the staff is very friendly, always asking if we need something more or if everything it's ok. We was second time on my husband birthday and it was great, we left very happy!! Thank you!!And we will go again soon🙂 I really recommend this place The Grill to eat, to have you Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Popped in for drinks. Lovely, friendly staff. Great service. Cafe had many people inside which is always a good indication of a place. Will definitely make room for food on our next visit as the menu was varied with plenty of tempting choices.

Food was not delivered and the restaurant did not pick up when number was called. Order was confirmed with expected delivery time, and then once it reached past the expected delivery the order tracker changed to say "enjoy your food" despite no order having arrived. Will NOT be ordering from here again. Seems they like to take your money but not provide the actual food. Do not order from here unless you like throwing away money for nothing.

Staff quite pleasant only stopped for large tea and pice or cake standard mug of tea was £1.10 large £2 how you can justify 90p for a bit more water I dont know . Although the cake was nice but a meager slice ar £3

Order omelette toast & beans, got cold beans not heated up at all, took the plate back as also work companion also did, owner was rude when we asked him to heat it up. The omelette was full of grease toast warm. The owner though very rude guy would not recommend anyone to eat from this place.

Had a lovely breakfast here. I ordered sausage, egg and beans in a toastie and egg, beans and cheese in a toastie, they where both delicious and the yolk was runny, just how I like it. I'll definitely go back to try their burgers and jacket potatoes. Price is reasonable. The dining area looked nice but I didn't eat in.

Great cafe. Friendly and fast service, lovely quality breakfast, would highly recommend. In our group we had 2 regular breakfasts, a massive breakfast and scrambled egg on toast. Was all hot, tasty and lovely!

Food was cooked well but for the cost it wasnt that good. Food was practically thrown at us. Card machine wasnt working so had to pay cash. I'm registered disabled and unfortunately getting to the toilet was a real issue as it was upstairs. One of the girls in the kitchen was wearing her mask just covering her mouth, and only just. I also saw a man opening a tin and had to use a utensil to prize the lid off and didn't was the utensil wiped it on his apron and returned it back for reuse! Yuk!!Tea was like dish water!
