Just had a fabulous takeaway from The Green, really tasty , crispy onions bhajis, 1/4 tandor chicken was succulent and full of flavour, pilau rice and sag aloo didn’t disappoint, I can’t move now I’ve eaten so much!!!

Food was some of the best we have tasted. Excellent vegan food. Decent sized portions. Will definately be ordering again. Order was delivered a bit quicker than advertised.

Frecuentemente faltan artículos del pedido para entregas. Tienden a tomar mucho tiempo también. Debido a los artículos perdidos en algunas ocasiones, nunca los volveremos a usar.

Ordenados en línea como recomendado en su menú para llevar. El incentivo era 3 libras de descuento. Cuando llegó a pago un servicio 40 p" supone "un salto, pero el descuento no £3. Les llamé y me dijeron que porque ya no podía hacer un recargo por pago con tarjeta que tenía el nombre de "cargo por servicio". Les dije que bajo la ley inglesa, los gastos por servicios son discrecionales y, como era una comida para llevar, donde estaba el servicio? Como para el descuento; aparentemente se suponía que era para introducir un código, pero me indicó que no había código dado en el menú. Él no niega que y me dijo si, la próxima vez, pagar en efectivo le quiten las 3 libras. Es una estafa! Ahora la comida: el pollo tandoori era tan seco como papel tisú, el nan de ajo (donde estaba el ajo? ) estaba frío de piedra y la chole era un recocido a tarka). La mayoría de fui a la papelera.

bit disappointed with the chilli masala as there was hardly any chilli in it, but it was delivered on time and the driver was very polite

The food was great. However the Dahl & coconut rice wasn't as tasty as expected. Lacked a tiny bit of salt. It tasted quite bland. However my dsughter ordered the dahl the same week & was delicious.

Tasty main dishes, but 90 mins to deliver (quoted 50 mins at booking) and food lukewarm on arrival. Various appetisers were packed in a plastic box, rather than a bag, so were soggy rather than crisp.

So we have no idea what the food from here tastes like because after 2 hours we are still waiting for our dinner to arrive. We were advised that there was an hour wait which was fine but then to have to wait an additional hour........not acceptable. It took us to call them to ask where our food was and then got a call ten minutes later from a delivery man to say that he is still ten minutes away........no sign of him or our dinner!

If I could give no stars on delivery, I 100% would! 2 hours after ordering I get my food for me and my partner and it's cold, staff were nice enough. food isn't too bad. Last order from here.

fresh lamb, fresh onion, plenty of yoghurt in the yoghurt base.

We are regular orderers from the green tandoori and it never fails to deliver on quality and on time. Jalfrezi king prawn is perfect as is the dhal (great consistency not too watery or flavourless). Staff delivering are always polite. A real gem.

This was my 2nd takeaway order from The Green Tandoori and it really hit the spot! The order was delivered around 1 hour after I placedthe order via Hungry House. The Duck Samosa was really excellent, stuffedwith a very tasty filling and with a nice crispy pastry. My chili & Garlic Nan looked a bit small and lifeless and the onion baghees lacked crispness which might mean they had been reheated, both both dishes tasted great. My Lamb Dansak was delicious and the Sagg baghee was flavoursome and not too wet. The popadoms were truly excellentbut let down by a fairly watery and insipid mint sauce. All in all an excellent meal. I will definitely be ordering again.

Under new ownership, change in cooking styles. Was spicier than before, but tasted great.

There are so many plans who deliver Indian food locally and we end up back at Green every time we try another one. Green does very nice Indian food - nothing too greasy, and the sauces for each dish are completely distinguishable from each other in bot look and taste. the chicken and lamb are nicely cooked and good quality meat. Always been happy with our orders from here.

Food was bland and below average I requested to make it spicy and it was very mild and bland. A shame as good Indian good should never be bland.

Nilgiri lamb tasted authentic and my chicken dish was fresh and flavoursome. Nice rice / Bombay potatoes. A special mention to the delivery man who was pleasant and very polite. Will done

I've ordered from here twice. First time the food was over 30 mins late. I called and was explained that this was due to an unexpected surge in custom. Second time the food has just arrived over 40 mins late. I called and the only feedback I had was that its out to delivery being screamed at me. I would recommend staying away from The Green Tandoori.

Bought for a family of five, all the food was good except my lamb tikka madras, the sauce was lovely but the lamb was very chewy

I think its been taken over by new managment, its shocking in there now, dont think we will be going back, The Mint sauce tastes like Soap, no more free mint sauce, and very forgetful of things in the orders

More than double the waiting time, ridiculous. If you plan on eating same day, dont buy from here. Upon calling restaurant, i was told driver would be here but never showed until some time later. Not at all impressed with the service.

Would have given all 5 stars but the food was slightly spicier hotter than normal but that's our preference not your food quality

We ordered a couple of weeks back, sadly the last time we will order. This place has been over 90 mins to deliver on three occasions now. Food and service is not worth the wait. When we called to ask after the order we were lied to repeatedly about the order being out for delivery, eventually the guy we spoke to on the phone walked it round to us.

Keema Nan had NO Keema in it. Masala tasted like it came out a jar Korma and Curry very sweet and watery Food has gone down since I ordered last, won't be ordering from here again. I'm very dissapointed

We use The Green a lot, the food is lovely, it's always hot & freshly cooked and arrives very quickly. There's usually some free Popadoms & salad included too which is a nice touch.

The food is OK but the service and delivery times are absolutely appalling.

Very poor - dhansak not like a dhansak should be: this one arrived watery and tasteless. Chicken Tikka jalfrezi also not a nice taste- disappointed all round

We are regulars for this Indian, but today we were hugely let down. I would bet we got reheated left overs as the meat was extremely tough and the curry extremely watery.

Good little takeaway with plenty of choice. I woukd have preferred my curry choice not to be tikKa based, however that's a personal choice the curry was nice. All round nice Asian takeaway

I've tried a couple of places through this app and this was my best experience so far. The set menu for two is great.

I've ordered from this places many times so thought I'd let everyone know how good it is. I have never had a bad meal from here and I will not and do not order from anywhere else. You must try and if you're out of the delivery area it's worth picking up yourself.

Excellent food and value for money. There is so much food with the Set Meal for Two. It feeds three/four people. Slight delay in delivery but this was a Friday night and they were very apologetic. So easy to order using Just Eat - love it.

The Grill and Naan bread were great and the lamb and chilli okay. Delivery was on time by a nice friendly man.

Avoid the chicken tikka at all costs! Not the Indian authentic taste of using a clay oven. Tasted like someone had cut up a chicken filled and literally put a tikki glaze and cooked in a normal conventional oven. The type of food u expect from a ready meal. Very disappointed indeed. The Mint sauce with the poppadoms also tasted awful. I wouldn't order again from here again simply because I am a creature of habit and prefer the chicken tikka, I've also tried a lot of Indians and chicken tikka in particular and this is by far the worst if you are a chicken tikka connnisour! Delivery time was also an issue even though they are based at the end of my road.

So I am normally very loyal to my favourite carry house that I have reviewed on here before. However got recommend this place and they did not disappoint. Excellent hot tasty food, very fresh tasting with excellent variety on the menu at a very reasonable price delivered very fast to my front door. Great takeaway will use again.

the mains were good, starters were a let down. Bhagis were over cooked and Rock hard. The samosas were like iceland frozen ones. Will probably give them a second chance.
