The Green House in Amber Valley

I dined with some friends at the green house last month and we all had a great experience! Excellent food and service, with special mention to Jack. Who went above and beyond, he had a great attitude and ensured we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there. 100% recommend, definitely coming back!!

Food wasn't great, and atmosphere had too much going on. Football was on which is fine, but then also it was pitch black with strobe lights and also music. All together atmosphere was wrong. Staff were friendly though.

A lovely man named Jack gave me quick service, a lovely pint, great food and an even better smile.

My advice to the pub group is to close down for a week and give it a serious deep clean, I've never been in such a dirty pub from the bar to the toilets.my wife had to try three cubicles before finding one that locked

Club baguette....barely any chicken and it's all cold and soggy. Worst meal ever. Absolutely shocking. No kids cutlery and no kids plate. £18 wasted. Not even asked if everything is ok till i was about to leave. . Only 10 tables in. offered another meal 3 minutes before i needed to leave Someone else complained to.

Came in yesterday for some small plates. Was served by Jack, stayed until the do came on, great music.

Came in for a few drinks for the England match. I was served by Jack who was a bundle of joy. Fab environment, really enjoyed.

I have allergies and sometimes get anxious eating at restaurants, but I had such a lovely time here. I was served by Paris and Jack and he made me feel so at ease, nothing was too much hassle!

Came in for the AJ fight and loved the atmosphere and all of the TVs, service was great during the entire match, was served by Jack he was great

great selection of gins at great prices, staff were very friendly and helpful was served by Jack Simms he knew all about the gins. also enjoyed the katsu chicken it was so nice!

Great pub, lovely stuff and really enjoyed the pizzas. Really impressed by the deals they have on offer. Was served by Jack and he was so friendly and helpful :)

A bit like a weatherspoons but a sports bar as well

those bacon wings are mega 6 massive wings and you can get 7 portions for 24 quid that's insane

Great atmosphere at night with lights and DJ at weekends, cocktails are 2 for 1 which is a great deal! All staff were very friendly and quality of service was excellent.

Myself and my mother came here for a drink outside your pub on the balcony after a food festival held right next to the pub in belper town centre! Best thing about it all was it was a beautiful summers day after 12 o'clock! Very nice modern pub with nice seating areas n great service what i could see! 😃 I had a pint n mum had a j 2 0 orange. 8/9/24. 😉👍

Friendly staff behind the bar service was quick and the server Jack Simms made sure to go through the order thoroughly to suit my dietary needs, good quality food for the price and really pleasant environment when eating in with the family. Would happily come back again.

Better than we were expecting. Not your average 'boil in the bag' town centre chain restaurant. Recommended. Still great we popped in again for another steak. Great food.

Food was pretty good and priced about right, but the portion sizes were very small, which, for me is why I thought it was poor for the money. Very quiet at lunch time so no atmosphere.

Dropped in with our son for Dinner (11th Aug) and it was simple awful, where do we start, Well no Post Mix Dispenser working so the idea of having a pint of Shandy was down the pan, Katsu Chicken Curry tasteless, Katsu Vegetarian Curry equally tasteless, Now then My Meal, (The ULTIMATE CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA!, Your favourite chicken tikka masala served with rice, chips, two naan bread, two poppadoms, mango chutney and a garlic & herb dip) Dreadful with Very Little Chicken with no taste, possible the worst Masala in my life, 2 of the smallest naan's I have ever seen served along with Horrible Sticky Rice and a small portion of chips without the Garlick & Herb Dip?, I suppose they hadn't got that either,

Absolute dump! Filthy tables, filthy bar, filthy everything!!! It wasn’t busy, no reason for the level of dirt!! Arrived at 12.30, popped to the loo and they had not been cleaned from yesterday. Looked around and left. God knows who goes in there!

Food was fine, very busy because of event in Belper Town but still served pretty quickly.

The food portions are perfect food is tasty not so keen on the sticky table and chairs and menu maybe just our booth. Everything else lovely would come back again.

Cheap food, however really cheap and tasteless product.

Always come here for coffee or food at night great service good food at good prices staff always helpful.and the management id great very friendly and a laugh love it definitely recommend

I meet my friends here for coffee every Saturday morning and find there is always plenty of space, nice atmosphere and not too pricey!

Paid £13 for two pints. The toilets were filthy. Not a great experience.

We ordered 2 breakfast....My goodness it was poor...I can't believe how they had the cheek to serve it to customers....we complained and got a refund....so i would read the reviews and I feel sure you would give this place a miss

Boss staff for boss place. Had a mis communication with food order but no issues at all and instantly resolved. Great service and enjoy coming here regularly!!!

Friendly pub good food and good for live sports. They have a good selection of beers and good food menu. Best place in town to watch the football.

Sausage and mash was just alright , mash was hard like cement. Wouldn't do that again.

Very poor I had gammon and chips, gammon was very thin and looks like a slice off bacon dozen chips which was the last pickings of dry up ends,a table spoon. Of peas for£11.95 I can say I was shafted I wished I took a picture and complained at the time,years of being a valued and loyal customer I certainly want be returning my husband had a mixed grill he had the same size gammon as me aswell as a sausage a chicken fillet and a piece off dry up steak tomato chips and peas for£12.95 a pound more, seriously somebody needs to look into the portion control and the pricing off these meal .

Food... meh! Chips terrible, tasted old and refried. My son had a childs breakfast, left almost all of it hated the beans , I tasted them and understood why. Daughter had a steak bluergh. .. So much room for improvement.

Visited twice and both times the service was similarly dreadful. The bar staff would not sell more drinks after 2230. Useless. Never again.

Sportsbar. Booths have mini tvs. There's a dance floor.

Twas fine fayre. The nourishment provided adequate fuel for the day that awaited us.

A good vibe in the establishment with helpful staff that are attentative. Music at the weekends, food and good times.

Just had a meal at Greenhouse, bit bewildered by bad reviews! We ordered an all day brunch, arrived quickly, looked nice, it was hot, hubby enjoyed it. I had mac n cheese with a nice salad, mac n cheese arrived hot, i enjoyed it, staff were friendly, can't find anything to complain about😊

Cannot understand the good reviews for this place, the Food is terrible, Mac n cheese was like something out if a tin and portions were very small for the prices charged. Salad coated in a nasty dressing, this should have been served seperatley The burger was so spicy it was barely edible . The wine was not good quality Party if 6 and all were disappointed, the food was quick and the service was ok
