Modern hotel bar not many seats and drinks expensive but what you would expect from an hotel near an airport. Staff all foreign. These sort of places do nothing for the area and can't even give local people jobs.

The great room is a misnomer - more of a passageway with a row of tables. Choice poor. Microwaved ready meals. Better to avoid. However breakfast was OK

Took the kids for a coffee at the hotel to sit and watch the planes. Stayed 40 minutes. Just had a £60 fine for parking in their car park. I did not see any signs anywhere saying I had to pay to park, nor warning about the fines. I won't ever use a Holiday Inn or Holiday inn Express again. Miserable miserable place.

Very large portions but tasty, could not manage a dessert. My husband had a Steak and I had Lasagne, both very good, no complaints.

Was a lovely experience. The only reason it’s not 5* is because it was slightly overpriced and it was a little slow. Staff were lovely and greeted us with a smile :)

£4.45 for a diabolical cheese toasty made with cheap white bread, no butter or spread, a basic cheese slice and two very thin slices of tomato. Cooked on a brevil toaster or similar. I say cooked but

If you are looking to go to Morrisons supermarket in Barry do not expect to be able to buy a coffee, tea etc as all the machines have broken down and have been like that for over two months!!
