Perfect Customer service from jaspreet and sarv :) Would recommend to come and I would Definately come again! Food was nice and drinks was perfect especially the cocktails.

Came tonight with my 3 kids and daughter in law and her baby. Food was amazing loads for the cost we took some home so much food for the price. Baby's high chair was broken they changed it straight away and gave us free nan bread for the trouble. Staff were lovely. Will be going again

Come here regularly and the past 3 times food service has been awful. Ordered food at the bar, then ages later they come to tell us poppadoms isn’t in stock, which they clearly haven’t communicated with the bar staff to let them know, forcing us to have a refund. Then not having a curry I wanted ages after telling me to choose something else and it took just as long, completely put off from here. Butter chicken even still had lumps of butter on the top poor presentation. I will NEVER eat food from here again. Last and final time coming here for food.😔 Bar staff are great though, never have a problem with drinks

Hi went with my partner to have dinner at great lion in westbrom. we got a table quite quickly which was good 👍 when it came to odering the food this is were it let us down We odered chilli chips chicken jalfrezi which was in a small metal box & had no sauce in it dry never seen that before we been to great lion before when it opened up & the presentation off the dishes were a lot better & portion size My partner ordered fish tawa 😲🤔 which looked like our chilli chip dont under stand now whats happened for what you pay its not worth it so i dont think i be coming back anytime quickly Rateing 4/10

The food was amazing, very tasty, excellent service. Local to me. Welcoming inside. I ordered sharing large mix grill with keema nann and Egg fried rice.

There are many Desi pubs in Birmingham and the Black Country and Ive been to most! This is currently my favourite. Superb curries. Excellent mixed grill. Great beer. All high quality and great service.

Our family had a great time. Lovely food and drink. Will come back again. There was 14 of us and this was no trouble for them. Looking forward to coming back soon. The mixed grill is amazing.

Came here on a Weds evening and the place was fairly busy still. Ordered the marinated chicken wings which were absolutely superb. I'd visit here just for that and order about 3 portions. Comes on a sizzling bed of onions and washed down with a cold pint. It has a WBA theme but the place is buzzing with regulars. They have big screens around, food came swiftly and the staff were really nice. Based upon my first great experience, I'd go again like a shot.

Best onion bhaji we've had for a long time. Great fish pakora. Really fresh mixed wrap. Superb special curry. Good cobra beer on tap. A great sports bar and grill. The best.

The place is always cold, the plates are always very cold, and some of the served food it warm, which is a shame, because the food is not bad at all. This is my opinion after coming here about 4-5 times over the last six months.

30 minutes wait on food in an empty pub watered down beer, over priced tiny portions, I would avoid this place. Plenty of other Indians to choose from in West Bromwich.

I've previously written a positive review for this establishment when I visited with my partner on a weekday with only a handful of customers in. That changed last night! What an absolute disorganised chaos was witnessed by soo many customers all agreeing nobody knew what was happening. A barman who couldn't use the cash register after I'd waited 15 minutes getting served and given gin instead of vodka 🙄, who then told me he couldn't handle the "white people" who had come in, I explained they were gypsies who would spend a lot of money and leave tips if treated well. It got better after 20 minutes he asked us if we wanted to eat...... that's when we decided its was time to leave the circus. On a positive the beer was lovely "Starapramen" and the barmaid in tight jeans 😉.

A first visit for me after the name change and total upheavel of what was previously The Desi Jct and its all for the better. The inside decor has to be the best in West Bromwich. A lovely ambient and classy feel that's welcoming. Nice range of beers and food menu and a fantastic venue for friends, family or a good get together. Will definate ly be visiting again.

The Great Lion is finally open (formally the Desi Junction). Had a wonderful evening here. They have fully refurbished the inside and it looks amazing. So many different seating areas to choose from. I would say it is more of a restaurant and bar now, instead of a pub. I think there is seating for about 300 people to dine. There are loads of TV screens up, so will be great place to watch the football, cricket and other sports now in West Bromwich. There is also a new seating area out the back. Ordered a few different items off the menu and everything was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. They have put a large windows in so you can see straight into the kitchen, which is a nice touch. The service of the food and drinks was great and all the staff are friendly. Will definitely be visiting here again soon!
