TLDR: Extremely rude staff, not lending itself to the name of "public house". Not sanitary. I was greeted by a rather unpleasant and power-mad woman who decided it was her divine right to decide a pub is no longer a place for socialising ("this isn't a social club" she says) and unless I purchased a drink I had to leave. My friends (about 8 to 10 of us) all had a drink, so she wasn't exactly losing out on money but decided to single me out and bully me into leaving. Apparently this was her approach with my friends too which all were told to buy or leave, despite the fact they were playing pool (i.e. spending money). We were pretty much the only people in there having decided to try this place for the first time it was quite empty -unsurprisingly. Furthermore the hygiene of this place leaves much to be desired, upon entry I was greeted by the smell of what could only be described as stale urine like that you'd find in a urinal probably the size of a small olympic-sized swimming pool. Do not go here, it will not make for a pleasant evening.

The children loved it. Have been here a few times but this was a first for Halloween. Only problem is parking. Maybe only take bookings that allows everyone a parking space as it's difficult when you have children, prams etc

30min wait for a Jacket Potato, which was hard but steaming hot, obviously part microwaved and overcooked. Not great.

Called in pre going to Stockport Plaza. We had all day brunch and beers. As you would expect with Wetherspoons the food and beers were good. The pub was very busy and so was the staff. We ordered via the app. We noticed people formed a long queue at the bar! Since COVID everyone wants to form a long queue starting at one point of the bar. Pubs were built with long bars which enabled people/punters to stand against them or to order.
