Our first visit and a great place to meet up for coffee and cake (very good cake indeed). My wife was delighted with the gluten free chocolate brownie (I pinched a bit and have to say it was one of the best brownies I've tasted!!!!). Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely venue, especially as it is dog-friendly.

As nice as the surrounds are, expansion of tables is not a reason to charge silly prices for ordinary food.£12 for a ham and cheese panini is ridiculous especially as the ham and cheese basic and processed. Sorry, ladies were very nice but I won’t be recommending or revisiting.

Went for lunch today and was very disappointed. I had fish and chips. Somebody should tell the chef that chips are not thin French fries as I was served. Also mushy peas should not contain mint. The piece of fish was possibly a childs portion. My wife had linguine with prawns. Not many prawns and those that were there were over cooked. We understand that it runs as a charity but it still needs to have honest reviews and this is one. Over priced for what we received.

Excellent environment, friendly service, good menu choices and prompt service at affordable prices … we have never had a bad meal here and today didn’t disappoint. He had delicious vegan breakfast with scrambled eggs (he’s not vegan just calorie aware & this was a lot less than usual ‘all day’ full English!) and I had the smashed avo with added feta - equally good and tasty. We would both have these selections again. Recommend this highly as never disappoints on food quality or service (appreciate that sometimes there is a delay with service but that depends on number of customers). Only criticism is we still miss the shop! Always made a purchase whether a card, personal purchases (glass ware / mugs) or potential gifts and liked contributing to Hearing Dogs merchandise and the charity. Keep up the service and food - always a pleasure to eat here.

I’m genuinely sorry to say that the last few times I’ve been here have been so disappointing. The food used to be great with an interesting menu (the Mac and cheese/chuck rib pretzel burger days). Today we waited 50 mins for lunch with no apology or even acknowledgement for the wait. Chickpea burger was so dry and the beef in the stroganoff was almost unchewable. I’m so sad to say I won’t be back until because I used to be a regular and really want them to do well.

Oh dear, what's happened ? The food and service used to be so good here. But sadly not today. We waited 40 mins for our food to arrive for the 4 of us even though there were only 8 other people in the restaurant. The food was lukewarm, the avocado had a very strange acidic taste, the gluten free bread was really tough and the sausages were undercooked. We will visit again but only for coffee . We will find somewhere else for our Sunday bunches- as perhaps others have due to the empty restaurant. Such a shame as it is for a worthy charity.

We used to love coming here for a meal but today we were not overly impressed with our food. We had a coronation carrot sandwich. Which is about a tenner. So you expect something a little more than you’d get from M&S in a box. But bog standard sliced white loaf. Salads. We had Treviso Salad. Which was 95% radicchio with some candied walnuts. 3 tiny slices of orange and such a minute amount of powdered cheese that it could have been salt. We also ordered a side of bean salad. Which had about 2 spoonfuls of beans on some green leaves. The salads used to be so amazing here. You could pick a selection and they had actual protein in them - feta or salmon or something. This was basically a side salad but for a main course price. Thank god we added chips! We might come back for coffee and cake but wouldn’t bother with lunch again.

Unfortunately today was the second time this month, I have visiting the Grange to receive a very poor experiences. The first time table service was poor, staff forgetting to bring all items ordered to table a number of times, and as we were shown to sit on the Sofa area being told not to spill our food on the Sofa!!! Today the 2 Barkwell Tart were inedible, was offered a small refund for 2 cups of tea, not the cake a £4 per slice, than refund was then put onto the incorrect card. with no apology. I am totally disappointed with both visits and it would not be some I would return too or recommend. I am fully aware Volunteers help but training could be much improved.

I have visited here a few times for brunch/coffee but this time I visited for a Hearing Dogs Tour (go to their website, and it is £7.50 per adult to see the work they do and learn how important their work is. The tour is run by volunteers and staff who are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and enjoy what they do. Their passion really comes through - you also get to meet a working partnership (dog plus owner) which is wonderful. Throughout there is plenty of scope to ask questions to appreciate and learn what they do. I think the price for the tour is very cheap, so in my opinion please do tap your card on the way out to donate a little more if you can - the work they do is not Government funded, and the money really does help change lives. The coffee and cakes, plus the variety of food to purchase is really great too, a very wholesome afternoon spent! Much recommended!

Menu choice was pretty good, but was quite shocked by the prices. We had the fish & chips, was really yummy but overpriced for the portion size. Quick arrive and a nice atmosphere (lots of lovely doggies). I would recommend the grange nevertheless. Will be back but only for a special occasion. Good coffee too, This was a special meal in more ways than one. It was the first time we had eaten out since February 2020. After self-isolating for more than a year our visit to The Grange was a first step towards normality. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Covid regulations were fully complied with. My wife had been to tea and cake at the Grange before and found it excellent. We decided to pop in for lunch on the off chance. Booking is normally essential to ensure that you get in. The Grange is the restaurant and cafe arm of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and fronts the Southern Training Centre located in Saunderton between West Wycombe and Princes Risborough. The menu is modest, offers vegetarian and vegan options. Ingredients are excellent and of the highest quality. I opted for the fish and chips (hake, beer batter, minted peas and chips with a tartare mayo - lacked bite for my taste) and the other half had the tomato and basil soup). Both were excellent. Prices are very reasonable and, of course, the profits go to the charity. The restaurant is, unsurprisingly, deaf friendly with echo eliminating ceilings and sound absorbing floors. Modern buildings and very doggy friendly. Tours of the training centre with or without cream tea are available. The decor is “rustic” and is entirely in keeping with the surroundings.

I have written a very positive review before about The Grange but I felt that I had to write another one after today's experience. A colleague from school and I eat out somewhere once a month, usually much closer to home, but it was my suggestion today that we went to The Grange for a Sunday roast.I've had the Sunday roast beef lunch before two or three times but chose the pork today. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of pork but the lunch that I had today was absolutely sublime. Every single forkful was absolutely sublime and by the time that I finished, I decided that it was definitely in the top three roast dinners that I have ever had in my life - and I have had plenty! My colleague said a few times even before our roast pork arrived (he had the same) "I am very happy now that I've had that bread". He ordered the bread appetiser which he really enjoyed!Thank you once again for a wonderful meal!

However, once again we were disappointed with the Scones which remain extremely dry with a white 'bloom' in the center. They also leave an unpleasant bicarb taste on the back of your teeth. This is the 5th time I have visited over the last few months but have yet to have a nice, moist scone. Can't complain about the size, just the dryness. The location is very hidden and tucked away and is located at the home of hearing dogs for the deaf, money from the restaurant goes back into the charity and the majority of the staff are volunteers which is a lovely touch. The restaurant itself is open and very spacious and lets in plenty of natural light with the solar panel on the ceiling. The food is of a very high quality. I had the bacon and chicken club sandwich which was superb with grilled chicken and very thin, grilled toast. The egg mayonnaise was also very nice. Anyone who knows me has probably heard me complain about charity shops, im not a fan to say the least, but I pass the grange several times a week on the train and don't live very far, I decided a trip with the 3 dogs and my girlfriend would be risked, I expected rubbish scones, week coffee and nothing much better then a few old pillows and old shoes for sale, oh maybe a book table. But this isn't that what so ever, its a stunning little spot, great building, great products for sale, and amazing food. The staff are really helpful, great to chat to, the only thing I could really criticise is the coffee, it wouldn't be my place for a quick coffee whilst I work but the food made up for it.

Very modern restaurant, great selection of salads and Sunday roasts. Perhaps the meat portions in the roasts could be a little bit more generous. We were asked for feedback and we gave it. Still gets 5 stars though.

A superbly perfect and exquisite space. Pet puppy and youngster neighborly I had no issue with surrey space or where to change my little one. Another secured play vault for youngsters implies they can be engaged while you relax.Service and staff brilliant and the cream tea was flawlessly exhibited and exceptionally delectable. Will again!!!

Couldn’t believe how busy the restaurant was today. Good food - friendly service - but you need to get there promptly if you want a table.

We went when it first opened last year and the service was slow then but we put that down to teething troubles. Sadly today in the afternoon after lunch service was finished and half the tables were empty it still took 30 minutes for our sandwich order to arrive. A nearby table had a similar experience.

We just had a lovely breakfast after our walk. Full English breakfast was great. Well cooked, black pudding and asked for beans on the side 👍🏼. Posh mackerel toast. Yummy. Staff and volunteers were friendly. Great spot, we’ll be back with friends.

Tea was weak and tasteless even though I left it to brew for ages. I ordered full English with no beans because I don’t like the sauce. it came with beans so they just scraped them off the plate leaving the food still covered in tomato sauce and there was no black pudding which was supposed to be there and it was all cold. Almost £10 for a breakfast that was cold and wrong!!

Visited for coffee and decided to have a quick breakfast while I was there. I chose the bacon sandwich!! The bread was lovely but there was only one rasher of bacon which would not have filled half of the sandwich. If I hadn’t been in such a hurry I would have taken the time to say something as my Mother uses the restaurant regularly and I have used it for lunches before. Unfortunately on this occasion I was shocked and disappointed. I Would have sent a message directly or e’mailed but could not find any way to do this on the website.

Accessible and well lit parking. Entrance via an attractive gift shop. Volunteer staff couldn’t have been more helpful in showing us to a table. Good variety on menu. Many healthy options. All cooked fresh. Nice to know the profits go to a local charity.

If you don’t care for dogs it might not be the place for you but for dog lovers this is such a find: a restaurant that serves excellent and interesting light meals and lunches to which your dogs are welcome! My friend and I visited on a Sunday lunchtime and had a lovely meal. My friend has visited for coffee and cakes and reports that they are wonderful. And you can visit the centre at the same time. Well worth a visit.

Usually get coffee from the well known golden arches but the coffee machine was broken, so we chose Hatch Coffee. It was actually the best outcome, one of the best tasting black americanos I've had! Other half was equally as pleased with her latte. Definitely be back 😃❤️

I've eaten at the Pantry several times now for both breakfast and lunch and I felt it was about time I gave them the rave review they deserve. The food is not just beautifully presented and fresh, it tastes amazing. Everything is perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. Portion sizes are satisfying and I've meter left hungry. Bonus points for the best coffee available at Cozy Corner. For what you pay, it's superb value for money and whilst it isn't a big menu, the food on offer is very high quality.

Food was ok. Had to wait for nearly 40 mins just for coffee and were served by a very sullen girl with long dark hair. Abrupt & rude like she truly couldn't be bothered.
