Superb visit, dropped by on the off chance of a Sunday dinner, lovely food, great service and reasonably priced. We’d recommend it to anyone..

Found this little gem thanks to the trip advisor reviews. Really welcoming and friendly staff and the food was fantastic. Will be going again when we are next in the area and would recommend for sure.

Bit of last minute decision but booked here and wasn’t disappointed. Both my partner and I had the fish and chips. They were cooked to perfection. Batter light and crispy and the chunky chips were great. Service excellent too. Recommended

We were staying locally and needed a place for tea. Wow what a surprise this place was! Easy to book online, welcomed by lovely staff. Lots of choice for adults and kids. We all said how fantastic the food was. Lots of flavour and great value for money. Even my picky 5 year old said hers was delicious. Would love to return if we’re in the area again.

Our visit was an end-of-holiday treat. From the moment we walked in until we left we enjoyed friendly, efficient service - nothing was too much trouble. The menu was fairly extensive and tempting. We chose the fish and chips meal which was excellent - just the right amount, leaving enough room for a dessert :) We would certainly eat here again.

Went here on Wednesday 5th of June for celebration meal , after looking at the extensive menu decided to go for the two meals and the house wine for £60 . Starters all nice and of a good size soup of the day , white bait and potato skins. Onto the mains two scampi, two chicken dishes, again good portions and absolutely delicious, Followed up by two sweets and two liquors coffee. And a surprise sweet for the wife and I Served in nice surroundings by nice staff. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was incredible, my husband had the neck of lamb and words can not describe how tender, juicy and tasty it was! The staff are superb, friendly and helpful (thanks Will!)

A lovely 3 night stay at The Granby Inn. Our room ( Rm 5) was lovely - spacious, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. Good quality produce, all freshly cooked / prepared to order. We ate 2 nights in the hotel. The food was great - lovely menu, good choice. Freshly cooked food, piping hot. Really good food. All the staff have been friendly and welcoming - it’s been a great stay. Thank you.

We made a booking here for four nights and it all went very well. The breakfasts were great as you could order whatever combination you wished from a comprehensive menu. We ate dinner on two nights and both were very good but the highlight for me was the tapas Tuesday offering. Our room was clean and well equipped and - given the late March weather - cosy. All in all, a great stay at a very fair price.

We had an overnight stay here and it was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restuarant and the food was delicious and well presented. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was equally as good, a good choice. Would definatley stay here again.

We have eaten many times over the last forty years at this pub/restaurant although not recently. The last time was before the pandemic and the waiting time was not good, however the food was. We ate here last week and it was extremely quiet, just one other table taken apart from ourselves. Once again the waiting time from ordering was around 45 minutes, I had turkey pie, my brother had steak and my mother had chicken breast and mashed potato. My brother enjoyed the steak but the turkey pie wasn’t good, the turkey was very dry, my mother also found the chicken breast dry and hard. For desert the homemade hot sticky toffee pudding was excellent and my mother enjoyed her apple crumble. The food here used to be amazing, always good quality, it’s very sad to see the place so quiet, no one even having a drink in the bar.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Evening meal lovely lots of choice. Tasty breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

We popped in for food and a couple of drinks when staying nearby, and were blown away by the quality of the amazing food! It was a lovely pub with amazing welcoming staff. We’ll definitely be back when we’re next in the area.

We came for a couples meal for my birthday catch up . Staff really nice and friendly. Food absolutely delicious, would of liked to see some game on the menu. Nice choice of wine . Lovely fire and cosy atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic dinner - we were staying with family nearby and decided to visit the Granby for dinner. Wonderful setting in the beautiful village of Longframlington. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Other patrons were very happy and talkative. Overall we had a fantastic experience and we will certainly visit again.

We’ve been in the area for two glorious weeks and the Granby Inn provided us with excellent food and service on several occasions There was a great menu with plenty of choices and diversity. Everything we eat here was superb from steaks burgers and a magnificent Sunday roast. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The venue was relaxed and service from staff was impeccable. We found ourselves not using other venues in the area because it was obvious we wouldn’t have found better. I would say a big big thankyou for the way you fed watered and looked after us Can’t rate the Granby Inn other than the best around the area

We stayed for one night on our way to the Highlands. Room was ok and bathroom clean. The main road wasn’t a problem but the room looks directly into the first floor of the house across the road; it would really benefit from a net curtain or sheer blind, so that one doesn’t need to close the curtains in the day. We ate in the bar and the food was hot and very tasty. Breakfast was good, with freshly cooked options.

We stayed here for a 2 night break and highly recommend. The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Food was excellent high quality, freshly made to order and affordable prices. We had 2x breakfasts and 2x dinners here during our stay. Will definitely return.

Maintaining their high standards. Excellent food and friendly service. We had the braised brisket and pan roasted chicken. Just wish that the duck was still on the menu. We will be back soon.

This place was very busy when we visited which most likley counted for the slightly slow service. None the less the food was worth waiting for as it was all very good. Lots of choice, good portion sizes, friendly service which made for a nice evening. Will certainly go back and can recommend making a visit when in the area.

The Granby Inn is one step up from pub grub. The menu is not extensive but the food was tasty and reasonable size portions. The waitress was friendly and the service efficient. Tables were set out socially distanced.
