Great place for Breakfast / Super friendly service / 3 levels of fry up to choose from and plenty more on the menu. Even ask how you would like your tea my preference being a “builders” :-)

Tip top food every time absolutely first class food and first class service a pleasure every time always polite and helpful

We’ve been coming in for breakfast and also lunch at the galley cafe for the 6 years we’ve lived in Burnham and the quality of the meals has always been superb . Very friendly staff and owners make it a really nice place to visit . ( And very good value too ! )

This little gem was well worth a 100 miles trip for its amazing breakfast. The service was brilliant and the breakfast was out of this world

Misaki is disgrace to mankind the waitress in question is a really lovely person as is all the staff The galley is the most perfect café with helpful and caring staff And for the insult that was given is unforgiving and absolutely unnecessary this will also be backed by Rae my partner Misaki should apologize as what was said is totally untrue best regards to all at the galley

Used this cafe for a few years as live in the town and food is good even though the staff can be rude but today just took it to a whole new level. If I was the owners I would look at replacing front of house staff as they are so rude and unwelcoming today I just walked out and will definitely not be returning

I'd seen a recommendation for the cafe breakfast - we'd passed by several times and never really noticed the place. Went for breakfast before travelling home and certainly weren't disappointed. 2 delicious veggie breakfasts arrived, piping hot. Fried eggs cooked to perfection.

Very welcoming, friendly staff. We were only in town for a few nights, came here twice. Great food, great coffee. Very attentive and caring staff. We are considering relocating to the area, and the waitress gave us valuable information. Should we make the move, we would definitely be back on a regular basis!

Great selection from all day breakfast, jacket potatoes, Chef's special which was Steak & Kidney pie with either chips & peas or veg, potatoes & gravy. A selection of sandwiches all fresh made to order. Selection of homemade deserts like sticky toffee pudding etc. Tea was served in a mug and they had removed the tea bag before brining to the table. Personally I think cafes who serve tea with the bag left in the mug are not worthy of supporting. Had a sandwich and tea which was first class Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them You could see that the customer was their priority along with excellent food

I've been coming here since I was a little boy with my Dad and it's my favourite cafe in town by far. Family owned and ran, the food is fantastic (the homemade specials are delicious), a welcoming atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Always welcomed with a smile and a chat for everyone. I'm heading there for a breakfast shortly. 5 🌟

This little cafe, tucked away at the old station end of the High Street is everything you want from a little cafe. It is not pretentious, like is the modern trend these days. It is just quite simply everything you want from a cafe, when what you want is a cheap and cheerful all day breakfast.... although that said you can also get a "proper meal" with pudding if that's what you fancy. Highly recommended. 😀

I've been coming to this cafe since I was small. It may have changed hands over the years but the quality of service and food has not. The food was lovely, the double bacon cheeseburger was one of the best my partner has had. I had the cottage pie which was piping hot and full of meat. The young lady serving was attentive and so pleasant. The couple cooking were lovely too. Its good, home cooked food within a lovely atmosphere. Its still as good as I remember it from my last visit 12 years ago. It brought back some lovely happy memories. If you are looking for a place for breakfast, lunch, a light bite or just a lovely cappuccino, then come to The Galley in Burnham.

Popped in for a light lunch very friendly family atmosphere with chat and banter really nice basic old type cafe grub served with a smile and a laugh not rip off pricing and went to trouble to get it right really enjoyed the food

George and his lovely family have consistently served good honest food here for decades. I highly recommend the Galley for a great dining experience.

While I have no complaints in the quality of the food you need to change the special breakfast, the only difference over the normal is an extra egg..that's it, and a different size plate, no mushrooms, no tomatoes - very disappointing.

I have been here many times, and the BBC'S CLAIRE CARTER presented them with an aeard for the best sausage sandwich. Nothing like this place within a 1000 miles. Well done guys long may you reign
