Nice pub. We had steaks which were a little disappointing.

A nice original interior that hasn't been ruinned too much. I would rip up the front tarmac and plant it up with low maintenance plants which would encourage customers. The lavatories are quite smelly.

Nice staff, decent beer & always got sport on tv, but my god it reeked of piss *everywhere*. If they'd only clean the urinals and open the toilet windows it'd be 4 stars

A lovely pub, with a fantastic landlady and staff are great. Quite often have entertainment and it never fails. A nice beer and a good time guaranteed!

Such a hidden gem and a lovely place to sit down and watch the world go by. Lovely staff, friendly customers and feels how a pub should feel. Very welcoming and will definitely be back.

Went there last night what a fab evening. Claire the landlady made us feel so welcome and the staff too. Will be definitely returning.

The lager was brilliant, ended up spending like a hundred quid but it was worth it. The inside looks old but unique and the outside seating is very spacious too. Nice beer garden with various decorations as well.

Sadly this seems to be deteriorating. Rumoured to be changing to a sports bar with no food. It seems empty and dead when ever I visit. Closed end June 2023

How can I ever say a bad word about this place?

Barmaid was brilliant made us so welcome and looked after all customers above and beyond her role, beer was good too

Nice decor pub but shame about the rude young girl behind the bar. Very abrupt and does not smile. Drinks are very pricey too.

new owners still good but now charge for the small bar snacks that were always free on a Sunday lunchtime session

Excellent pub with live music on Sunday, amazing true Italian pizza, good variety of beers and ales. Visited it yesterday and decided to come back today with the whole family.

Great traditional pub to catch a game of rugby, friendly staff and atmosphere. Great boozer!

Had a very good lunch in there recently served by a lovely young lady. I think it is under new management so will probably use more.

Great food now being served by Catering by Nicola including pub classics, a really nice burger as well as sandwiches. Highly recommend for lunch

Great service! I was served by two amazing young women named Courtney and kylie. They made myself and my family feel more than welcome and this pub should be proud to have staff like these as they really do go above and beyond for every customer! Golly gosh I can’t wait to come back! Thankyou so much ladies. My lads are more than happy! 5/5

Does not serve food. All signs outside and Google maps say home-cooked food available, but this is incorrect.

Just found out that all the staff are leaving the Gordon Arms this is not good news as I have known them all for years, looks like I might have to move on to the Crown where they look after their staff

Devastated that Mandy and her team are leaving after working so hard to turn this pub round, won't be drinking here for much longer !

Wonderful old fashioned pub, exceptionally clean. Had lunch which was great pub grub.

Last of the few old fashioned boozers, been going years but now with the new edition of the beer garden it's a definite improvement. Not the cheapest but that's chislehurst for you

This is one of our locals but we haven't been there for a while, popped in there a few weeks ago and it's been completely refurbished which was great. The clientele is mixed, old and young and the staff are very smiley and friendly. Looks like the landlady keeps runs a tight ship which is good to see, no nonsense approach to any silly behaviour :)

Super Atmo.Fast + friendly service. Good value and large drinks selection plus live entertainment. Food available. Also beer garden and fish stall.

Unfortunately no food when I went there and the beer selection could be a little better, but the staff is super nice and kind. Good for a little chat with friends.

Great traditional community pub, the likes of which are dying in UK. Not for your gastropub crowd, but a pint with mates and the footy it's a winner.

Friendly atmosphere, good food, good beer

Im shocked by the way i was spoken to by a very rude lady who works they which I presume is the owner she came out to me and said not only did you not say thank you and you left the door open, this is because I took my children to the toliet little did she know I had brought a drink and had it outside and I did not leave the door open you very rude lady. Will never step foot back in there again.

A traditional working man's local pub. Unpretentious and friendly. Although a blokes pub ladies always welcome as it creeps into the 21st century. The food is English and wholesome.Good portions and fresh. A refreshing contrast to the often pretentious international fare in other Chislehurst watering holes. Always lively banter on every subject under the sun from horseracing to the regular singers who enertainthe customers who scoff the roast potatoes on the bar every Sunday lunchtime.Visit while this old style pub culture lasts.

Its a mans pub a few ladies too great atmosphere and the people make you feel at home I can't say anything about the food as I have never had any but I do believe it is nice
