Fist time I came here with my friend( who was here before Christmas) and it was busy but there was tables that were aplenty but filled up soon. I had the vegetable soup with brown bread( choice of white or brown) with butter and a cuppachino. It was so delicious as was homemade really tasty & brown bread was soft as was the butter. Cuppachino was the best I've ever had so creamy. My friend had a toastie & with coleslaw & crisps on side was really good she said. Cuppachino same as myself. I will be back as its really great craic .

Popped in to this Cafe for the first time yesterday and I’ll definitely be back. The food was great and the staff super friendly. The Cafe was busy but service was still efficient. A lovely atmosphere in the place and there was even a wee dog dining with his owner! Being a dog lover, this made a huge impression on me. Go along and try this Cafe, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Gran cafetería, el personal es increíble. Tan acogedor. Mi primera vez aquí, solo paré para un rollo de tocino y una taza de té, llegó rápido y con una sonrisa. ¡No será mi última visita!

Lovely wee cafe! Great welcome and chat, dog welcomed and got a free sausage, and breakfast was fab. We both had Eggs Benedict and it was perfect. Lovely staff keen to chat and speak to our dog. Also very reasonably priced. Will be back when next in Inverness!

What a fantastic find on our recent visit to Inverness. Brilliant wee cafe with extremely friendly staff. Great menu and selection of fresh cakes. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and to top it all they are doggy friendly which meant we didn’t need to leave our 14yr old pooch in the car. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, busy place but the turnaround is quick, plenty of friendly staff, all helping out. We had the lentil and bacon soup with brown bread, delicious and filling. The cheese and tomato toastie was cooked just right, and the side of slaw was great . The blt on toast was super, and more than a handful Diverse menu and reasonably priced Worth a visit

Just visited and blown away! I had chestnut mushroom soup, partner had potato/leek and tuna melt toasties. Place is packed all the time. All staff are smiley, very happy to help and the food and service is fantastic. When we come over from Skye, we will now always come here. A gem in Inverness. 😊

Fantastic establishment and lives up to its name “The Good Craic”. Staff were extremely efficient, courteous and food was excellent. Great selection on menus and great portions. Had good banter with staff and always a smile on faces. Our go-to cafe while in Inverness. The Aussie six. Haste ye back!

This cafe has got to have the friendliest staff in any Inverness cafe. Twice recently I have left Skye fairly early in the morning and have called in at the Good Craic for breakfast. I got a friendly greeting, smile included, and was quickly shown to a table. I ordered the full Scottish Breakfast which arrived cooked to perfection fairly quickly. The breakfast was delicious and was just the right portion to keep me satisfied until my evening meal. I have yet to try lunch there, but I look forward to trying it soon.

Popped in for lunch for a break from shopping, had some amazing mushroom soup accompanied by a ham cheese tomato x spring onion sandwich, both were beautiful, tasty and fresh. The service was fast efficient x friendly, ideal for a lunch stop when visiting Inverness Town centre.

The food and coffee drinks were delicious, and my teenage daughter said their hot chocolate was the best she ever had. But the real standout was the staff—so friendly and welcoming! We went back two days in a row, and Jen and Alan remembered us and made us feel right at home. We are so glad we happened to walk in! I hope we make our way back to Inverness and Good Craic Cafe sometime soon.

Must say I was very disappointed with the cafes full breakfast. For £14.50 you get a plate of bland food that included 1 undercooked sausage and a soggy bit of black pudding. We were also charged for the tea (which was supposed to be included in the breakfast) The only decent thing was the coffee and side of chips. Think ill be sticking to comfort foods from now on. Would not recommend.

Another superb Inverness find! We stopped by for some lunch and were warmly greeted by all the staff, who despite the grey day outside were welcoming and good humoured throughout. It may have been the proprietoress, but a lady came over and just had a chat with us, which was lovely, unforced gesture. Add in the excellent food, all at a reasonable price, and you can't ask for more. Fantastic, we were feeling a little jaded with a long day ahead and a visit here was a fabulous tonic! Thank you the Good Craic Cafe!!

Lovely cafe with really friendly staff. Service was quick and efficient. The place had a nice vibe and there were local regulars in as well as tourists, always a good sign. The cheese and onion toastie was the best I’ve had and hubby thoroughly enjoyed his cheeseburger. The cakes looked amazing but we didn’t have room! Would really recommend The Good Craic Cafe.

This place was one of our favourite holiday ‘finds’ after meandering along the long, beautiful road from Glenelg, not knowing what was at the end (our favourite past time). That was 8 years ago and we discovered the best home-made salmon quiche I’ve ever tasted set in tiny area of eclectic seating with the local fauna sitting at your feet, all set with a stunning backdrop. Everything about it felt home-made in its genuine sense- like a reward for travellers rather than a cafe. We felt we’d found the world’s best kept secret.. So we returned. All just as beautiful and the food just as delicious, just with a place to sit inside if the clouds let go. So glad Sheena’s is going strong.

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
