9th May we had our wedding renewal reception. What can I say Tamy , Jon and staff smashed it out the park. From us arranging the food to the decorations they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The buffet was amazing very tasty everyone commented on how good it was. Our guests were never waiting to be served, no empty glasses sitting around always cleaned. We were extremely happy with everything and highly recommend the pub for any event. We had the fabulous funcky funks for our music again brilliant and Jody finished the night off with karaoke. We couldn’t have asked for me. Thank you all so much for your hard work x

WOW! The best Steak Sandwich I’ve ever had! The steak was perfectly cooked and the bread melted in my mouth. Topped off with a very generous amount melted cheese and exploding with Caramelised Onion! In addition, the customer service was fantastic! I’ll definitely be coming back! :-)

The staff were very accommodating and we're able to seat 10 of us at short notice. It was only a 4 as the boys thought that there were less chips than normal.😂 Apart from that the staff were great and served us with great food.

This pub is the best in Bracknell. All the staff is lovely especially kaeisha, john, Tammy, heather they always have a smile on their face. The atmosphere is always lovely and always a great night out

Well what can I say we went for Christmas Day dinner. The food was incredible very large portions to the point I couldn’t eat pudding. Very reasonably priced. John and Tammy did themselves proud. Great atmosphere, staff friendly as usual. We will definitely be having it again next year. Perfect end to a brilliant day

Been coming to the farmer for a few years now,and can hands down say the best team to be working here,the landlady and landlord are the nicest people I have met and the bar staff are just as nice and we ways have a good crack with them all. Definitely recommend 👌

Had an evening meal here with 2 young children. Food was very reasonably priced and there were no complaints all round. There was a pool table and some gaming machines to use. Staff were friendly. We visited on a Tuesday early evening so it was very quiet.

Came down for a Friday night with few mates for a couple of drinks, the DJ was amazing on the night!!, the vibes of the pub was just great!, also a really nice friendly team of staff who work behind the bar,and the managers are also lovely!, deffo the place to be xox

We were a family group of 13 celebrating a big family birthday across many ages. The food was good and the staff were amazing. It was a Saturday night so the music was very current which the younger members really enjoyed. The pub itself was very lively and busy but the service was still excellent. I pre-booked the meal with John and despite our ever changing numbers, he couldn't have been more helpful to accommodate ours needs. Very happy. Great service.

The steak meal was enjoyed by my family member. Unfortunately the choices for vegetarians is as usual limited. The mushroom pie looks fab but the pastry is the worst I've ever tasted

Popped in, on the off chance of food and we weren't disappointed. Steak sandwich was absolutely yummy and jacket spud cooked to perfect fluffiness, bring on the desserts. Staff were smashing too, especially Lisa 👍🏻 thank you golden farmer. Top notch.

When I saw that this pub was owned by a chain, I initially had my reservations as I unfortunately where I live most of pubs their food is naff. But I was wrong their food was lovely, hot, fresh & didn't have the mass produced taste to it. So thank you - just a shame we live to far away to come often but next time we visit the area. We will certainly eat here again.

We visited early morning to watch the Lions beat the All Blacks. Good friendly atmosphere with breakfast rolls and full English available. Spot on!

Had a lovely time when i came one Friday many moons ago. They had a local Dj and everyone was friendly. Jordon who served us was great and he put a smile on everyone's face when he wasn't busy. recommended.

We were served by a very friendly (coupled with professional) order-taker and waitress. Our steaks were of good quality; meals well-presented and very tasty. It was a steak special day and the prices most reasonable. 5 stars - all round.

I visited with my 13 year old daughter after a day at Thorpe Park. Didnt fancy the hotel where we were staying so walked here as it was the nearest pub serving food. It was quiet with only a few locals drinking. I was initially apprehensive. However, staff were very friendly and helpful. No sign of animosity as a previous reviewer said. Both my daughter and myself were happy and relaxed there. The menu was standard pub fare but prices were very reasonable and plenty of offers available. The food itself was excellent as was the beer. I certainly cannot fault what we had and would certainly return again.

I wouldn't advise any strangers to walk in here otherwise you get looked at like you don't belong in this world, service is awful, had my drinkers slammed down on the bar, and heard sniggering behind me from what only looked like was the locals, left after 10 mins and witnessed a fight on the way out, good old Bracknell! And I will not be returning!

The Golden Farmer is a good local pub with a exellent collection of beers and largers well priced and kept the food is superb for the price their is always a freindly welcome .Gets busy when the football is on .there is entertainment during weekends in the evening .

This was one of those evenings where you find yourself without children and a couple of hours to spare. So when we dropped our youngest off for the end of year disco and started walking in the sunny evening we didn't expect to end up having a lovely steak in The Golden Farmer. The menu was the normal pub grub fare and my better half went for the chicken burger with spicy wedges. My rump steak and chips was just how I like it, medium with the red juices osing out, onion rings side order obviously came straight from the cooker as they were so hot. Ruddles Best was on offer and not a common sight around here and a couple of pints went down very easily. Music, I'm not normally a great fan of music in a pub but on this occasion we loved it, guess it's our age, the playlist was 70's dance and Motown and we knew every single track and I'm sure we have the vinyl in the loft somewhere!It is a local pub and it gave us exactly what we wanted on an evening stroll in the sunshine.
