An enjoyable evening. Nice welcome and good waitress service. Food was good and a good vegan choice( which isn’t always the case)

Friendly team members, lovely light bites lunch menu. The Fish Finger Hake Gougons in the Fish finger sandwich were perfectly cooked. Will certainly visit again to try the main menu.

Came away for staff stay and birthday break. Everything was just amazing, lovely pub, really comfy beds, good beer (Hicks was just the best). All staff are very welcoming and approachable , special shout out to Freddy and Kimberly. Will definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again

We met up with friends and first impression was lovely - log fires, very welcoming staff and menu was full of gorgeous food!!! We were delighted with our choices and our waiter Simon was so helpful and such fun!

Excellent Valentine’s day dinner and an extremely comfortable 2 night stay. The apartment was outstanding, fully modernised with some of the historic quirkiness of an old coaching inn. The location for exploring Topsham and its surround is perfect. The bar and restaurant is very welcoming and atmospheric, excellent beers!! We met up with old friends and wanted a place with a little atmosphere. The globe was spot on food was very nice and keenly priced and the staff delightful. I would have no hesitation in recommending it and hopefully you will get the added benefit of shanty singers in the bar as we did!!

Yesterday, on February 11th, 2024, I went out for a Sunday roast. The food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. However, I wasn't able to add a tip while making the payment through my card. I hope to stay for a day or two during my next visit.

What a cosy and warm pub for a cold winters night. Welcoming friendly, great service. lovely atmosphere. Its always git a great atmosphere and busy with locals as well as tourists. Consistently friendly and atmospheric. I love this place.

We visited The Globe on Sunday 4th Feb 2024, for a Sunday Roast. Having researched best places for a roast dinner in and around Exeter, we found The Globe was only 5 minutes from our house and high on the list. We were greeted by warm, friendly staff and received really great service. We both had the roast pork and it really was truly delicious, Veg, very tasty. Lots of meat and the Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were perfect! Cannot believe we hadn't treated ourselves to a Sunday roast here before! Thanks Team Globe, we may just become Sunday regulars!

Excellent 3 course dinner and service. No complaints at all. Scallops were served with the roe which I prefer. Ribeye steak cooked medium rare to perfection. Fish and chips were lovely with crunchy batter.

Absolutely excellent venue for a family meal to celebrate a 60th birthday. Great food, great service what more can I say.

We live in Topsham and when we have large groups of family or friends visiting we put them up at the Globe. All have been complimentary about the comfort of the rooms and exceptional breakfast. One point recently had been that the extractor fan at the back of the kitchen backing onto the rooms is a bit loud and probably needs servicing or some sort of noise reduction solution. Very minor point but it’s been mentioned a couple of times. Overall, a brilliant pub and place to stay 😊

We stayed at the Globe for 2 nights, the rooms were very nice and cleans. We also had breakfast included in our stay which was delicious! Lots to pick from continental and cooked breakfast options. We had dinner in our first night and there were locally sourced mussels which were very good.

Was having an autumnal walk with the dogs around Topsham and The Globe has a really nice outside seating area in which we could take full advantage of the unlikely sunshine. We ordered a couple of cappuccinos and two roast dinners, a beef and a turkey. Everything came out nice and quickly and I have to see that it was really nice . Not the hugest portions and the veg pot for two was really enough for one hungry person, but the meat was lovely, the Yorkies were huge and great. Oh the coffees were lovely to.

Very nice Sunday Roast. Ordered turkey but as it was late afternoon they had run out. So they offered us a chicken roast. Most places if a meat is sold out it would be taken off the menu & no substitute added. So was impressed with this approach.

I booked the access room (The Old Brewery)for my friend who is an amputee and needed wheelchair access The management staff could not have been more helpful and charming My friend said that the room was comfortable and very easy to get around in her wheelchair and the wet room was brilliant There was an issue with the parking which was corrected as soon as they were able. Breakfast was excellent The meal we had in the evening was mixed and the waiting staff were average Overall a very successful stay

Arrived at the hotel receptionist was very friendly and we was given their key the room was very nice and tidy the bathroom was very nice and very spacious but there was no heating on and it was very cold went down to reception informed the receptionist of this cut a long story short I don’t think the heating was actually on because when heating was on and we turned the radiator on it came on very quickly but he was very nice and sort it out for us in the morning Went down for breakfast was met with a very nice polite waitress we asked for the full English when we got our meal the sausages were completely white and when I cut into my sausage it was almost frozen in the middle my wife at hers because she didn’t want to complain I complained and was given two new sausages which were cooked lovely but why did the cook put two plates with white sausages which were not cooked properly it’s such a shame because it’s a beautiful building and all the waitresses are nice I think you need to look at your kitchen staff And up your standards sorry I would’ve loved to given you five stars for the breakfast really let it down
