Great pub, excellent food,reasonable price and drinks reasonable as well...in fact drinks are one of the cheapest locally.

Great time at The Glen. They were happy for me to leave my van in the car park overnight and sorted me out with some great food, despite the kitchen closing 15mins after I arrived (I did prebook food to save the kitchen some last minute prep work) Good beer and atmosphere. Many thanks

Had our Christmas lunch there today. 21 of us. Food was excellent well done. Will use it again next year for other occasions.

Prick and ping food, convenient, but very average

Lovely friendly staff,both my wife and I had mash potato with our meals,which unfortunately was very lumpy, but rest of food was ok.

Having been a long time since I’d been to The Glen, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. On arrival I was greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately liked the vibe. It was very busy but this seemed to compel the staff to work harder to make me feel welcome. The food was quite simply excellent and I couldn’t fault anything about my visit. I won’t leave it so long next time.

Nice friendly family bar to visit anytime

Stopped over in our campervans with friends , given a warm welcome. Was busy but served Good food and cider so we were happy 😊. Reasonable prices , will be back again . Well done staff.

We had lunch surprisingly good well presented tasty and good value. The place looks a little tired but clearly the staff are looking after things well . Would definitely visit again .

A pub affiliated with the British stops. So you can also spend the night there in your camper. We did this for 2 nights. The pub has good food, many types of beer and certainly a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

First time we dropped in. Bit of a wait for food but the staff was lovely and they have a fantastic play area for the kids. My grandchildren loved it. Will definitely be going back

Good food at sensible prices served in a reasonable amount of time to say it's cooked fresh, this was Father's day and quite busy. Service friendly and welcoming.

The food here is fantastic.. been using the place now for a couple of months.. eat here about once a week.. can't fault it.. the portions are a great size.. definitely no scrimping there and the home made pizza's.. they are to die for.. great people, great atmosphere a real friendly, welcoming place.. 5 stars 🌟 and a 👍from us

Just had a lovely mother's day meal at The Glen. The food was amazing and service attentive but not overbearing, 1 small error in ordering rectified by staff very quickly and happy with outcome, will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

A good beer garden with children's play area.

Would like to say their was 11 of us ,had amazing food out in no time .very friendly helpful and nothing was to much trouble, we were looked after at the table .Great service highly recommended.

Brilliant service for a large 21st meal served 15 all food was out within reasonable time meaning everyone ate together, massive well done to the staff tonight, nice little tip left enjoy guys xx

Booked a table for the England match, drove 45 minutes and wouldn't let us in because they were 'full' - meanwhile our mate is sat on his own at a 6 person table inside. Looked like a great set up, but terribly managed, what a shame.

Table of 6 booked. Only allowed 3 in. What a joke. I guess I'll miss the first half of the England match.

Typical pub with good atmosphere inspite of everyone being outside. Was a private party so difficult to say what it would be like under normal circumstances

Had a meal booked, food was delicious, and from start to finish we were very impressed with the Covid measures that were in place, we will return as we had a lovely time,

Well organized, the QTap app works really well. 10p service charge with quick delivery is fantastic. The garden is a sun trap while another part of the garden is covered with heaters.

I have not been in The Glen very much recently apart from a drink outside. Having read many of the current reviews I would agree with them in that it's a very good place to spend some time even with the current regulations, which are well provided for.

Terrible. The food order was incorrect when it arrived with the waitress asking "you ordered food?" When we said yes she put the tray on the table and walked off. After waiting another 6 minutes she brought the rest of our meals but stopped half way across the pub to speak to another customer about their meals. We went across to her and took our meals from her as we had been waiting so long. The toilet situation is also a debacle. Won't be going back.

Not the greatest, probably down to the clientele, but no one seems to know or care about social distancing. But a couple of staff were very good fighting a losing battle. Ale kept well, but are finding that everybody has got the same stuff, which is disappointing especially when doing a bike ride to get the Cask Marques at these out if the way establishments.

Lovely little pub with a nice garden and play area for the children. The food was lovely but a star has been knocked off for the wait, two sandwiches took nearly 50 mins to arrive on what seemed like a non busy lunchtime.

Normally meet my wife here for early dinner when she finishes work at least once a month. Car park is quite often full of workmens trucks who also use for dinber. Today she had ham egg and chips and i had a gammon. Good god chef must have thought i was two people. A very large thick gammon with fried egg and pineapple slice. Chips, mushrooms, onion rings,2 fried tomatos peas and salad. Very nice indeed but now suffering cos ate toi much. Definitely worth visit.
