Freindly service, wonderfull food, some of the best I ve eaten and I m a curry coneseur!!

What a place. I'm quite often disappointed by takeaways but sometimes needs must and Aamnah's certainly changed my opinion. I have used this place twice now and on both occasions the food has been fabulous. Their kitchen offers 'different' dishes to other takeaways and if you collect you get to see the chefs cooking. Fascinating and mouthwatering.

Food cold phoned to explane and got could a lier customer service very rude and had to collect refund and take food back

Had the lamb korai on advice of one of the guys in the shop - it was full of flavour, tender, delicious. Always impressed by the food and very friendly people, will be coming back.

Superb quality food, had a large order, placed it early and arranged a delivery time. Arrived on time piping hot. Every dish was top quality thoroughly enjoyed by all. Would recommend the dhansak and lamb tikka karai. Thankyou to all in the kitchen, will be back soon.

Very quick and efficient to resolve an issue with Just eat. They cooked us fresh dishes which was one of the best takeaways we have had, the meat was beautifully cooked

The dish i picked this time was...chot poti, onion bhai, onion salad and mango suace! Another fantastic tasting meal from these guys! The food is clean, fresh, well prepared and presented, and just the right level of spice for that particular dish and when you eat from here you are always left with I slight tasty zing in your mouth, I know many Indian restaurants over town and I say the food from these guys are as good tasting quality as the few top indian restaurants in town, the only difference here is there is no bar and you have to take it home and eat it, truly colourful, full of favour, spice, clean, fresh food everytime at good prices, well this is my thoughts and i would recommend. Thanks to the kitchen

Very welcoming on arrival as always. This is the Best Indian take away in Southampton, in my opinion! The food is always hot, freshly cooked in front of you and full of flavour.

I love this place. Great service from good and honest people. The food is fantastic - every time. I have seen the odd negative review but I find it hard to believe that anyone has ever had bad food from here. This evening I managed to walk off without taking my change. When I got home I realised I had missed calls from Aamnah’s who were trying to get hold me to resolve this.

Tasteless, Tasteless Kashmiri curry, do you ever taste your your own cooking? Only ever used once before and didn’t use again because it was tasteless then, will not use again…

Worst takeaway I’ve had in a long time. First time and last time I will be a customer. Most of it went in the bin. Was more expensive than our normal supplier, as a first time customer was offered complimentary poppadoms which we didn’t get and egg fried rice is boiled egg in rice which I’ve never experienced at any indian restaurant or takeaway. Very disappointed.

Tried this place the first time this evening. We all had different dishes and every one was amazing! Very highly rate this place, will definitely return and this is our new go to! Great prices too. :-)

Normally the best curry I've ever eaten buy tonight it was terrible. Lamb Rogan that tasted like a bland Irish stew. Utterly disgusting and that is the last time I order from here...£30 wastec

I’ve got to say Aamnah’s hits the spot. Just finished our first takeaway from this place and nothing to complain about at all. Friendly, chatty service, I got offered a free Chai tea while waiting and the food when I got home was delicious. All in all a great experience and they deserve all the custom they get, I think it will be our go to Indian takeaway now and I’m looking forward to trying some of their varied signature dishes !!! Ordered on their own website at 6pm. Site and email confirmed delivery at 645pm. No show at 7pm. Called they said food ready but would be 15 minutes to deliver. 730 called again, food still there, no driver, no , call, no food. Cancelled order. 7 minutes later they delivered it for free and apologised explaining how badly drivers had let them down. This was a ⭐️ review but now I have to say thank you and well done🙏🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food was great 👍🏼

Ordered from here because of reviews. Shaplas used to be our go to as always consistently tasty food before it was taken over. Been going to Asher and Lyndhurst since.. Just eaten our ordered food from here and unfortunately it was tateless. We don't like hot Currys but love the flavours. Ordered butter chicken, passanda and biriani. First 2 dishes were boring and tasteless and the biriani had nice rice but the veggy curry was tasteless. Such a shame, don't quite understand how these dishes are lacking so much flavour, maybe not the usual chef cooking - Disappointing...

Fantastic food, great service and friendly staff. This is the first time we had used Aamnahs. I'd seen some good reviews for it and thought it was worth a go, we weren't disappointed. This was hands down the best takeaway we've had I ages. Thank you. 🙂

Regularly have take away from here. Excellent service and advice, some unusual items whish are great to try, made to order also. As a vegetarian, I regularly order Cauliflower jalfrezi, madras, or one of the more unusual sauces. Always good. The vegetable sides also very good. Mixed Chana for example. Extremely pleased they opened in SO40

We ordered online which was quick and easy to navigate. The food was ready quicker than planned, the taste is good but my other half’s chicken madras was flooded with grease and my peshwari naan lacked any filling and might as well of been a plain naan. We ordered here as our usual place was closed and we won’t be returning.

After being recommended by a friend about this place, we have had many takeaways, especially as it is very local to us. Fantastic flavours and quality ingredients. Ample portions, friendly staff and spotless kitchen. Cannot fault it.

Went to collect my order the time I was given got there had to wait another 10 minutes there was food just sat there ready to go but the staff member was more interested in answering the phone then packing the orders so I ended up with cold and tasteless food so not recommend !!

The chicken tikka starter had the perfect amount of kick, yet lovely taste. The chicken madras was also cooked to perfection, being able to taste all the spices and herbs without it being too over powering. Keema naan was perfectly cooked with a lovely after taste. Onions bhaji was 10/10. The customer service was outstanding also. This is without a doubt my favourite takeaway and I would of given 6 stars if I could. Definitely be back soon.

Arrived late, meal was wayyy too spicy for what we ordered and the naan bread was burnt on one side and raw on the other, the complimentary salad was just onion in a bag. The rice tasted weird and was cold. Not happy at all !!!!

Madras taste less worst indain that I have every had ,base gravy like tomatoes soup and the chicken had done runner.

Honestly the worst curry I’ve had! Cold curry with Brussels sprouts in? grease from curry stained my kitchen side. Cat food would be a better option.

My first experience with the outlet wasn't the best start. The service was under par. No smiling and couldn't accommodate our requirements for the best option for us. No flexibility with your order. On tasting my dish, Chicken Tikka Masala the pieces were difficult to find and the sauce was very sweet, in fact too sweet for me. The Dahl was smokey and pleasant. Overall it was a mediocre experience.

Credit where it’s due, this is a nice curry. Thought I’d try somewhere new and was not disappointed. For me the nicest curry in the area

I'm going to go 3 stars on the review (halfway) and I'm going to be fair with it. So us guys were working nights. We like to get a take away on a Friday. We decided Indian tonight. After a bit of Google reviewing and research. This place seemed one of the more highly rated Indian takeaways. So I took a cycle ride down to collect a menu. Very nice kitchen, everything is cooked right Infront of the customer in open view. The owner was very pleasant. So we made an order for 4 People. One rice was missing so the work colleague that ordered the korma had no rice. We ordered a chicken and a lamb biriyani. They was labelled up wrong, so I ended up with his chicken and he ended up with my lamb. We ordered 2 keema naans and 1 garlic naan. We ended up with 1 garlic, 1 plain and only 1 keema naan. Everyone said the food was good. But it's a shame. Because we calculate our own bills before ordering takeaway. On this occasion. Some of our work colleagues have paid for dishes they have not received. I think 3 star's is fair, because yeah it was a very nice meal on what we did receive

Just had our first takeaway from here and it was lovely! Certainly won't be going back to our old takeaway from now on. Had the lamb Rogan Josh and Squid Chatt and both were amazing. Well done guys, keep it up.

Probably the best Indian TakeAway I have had. The menu is different and refreshing to see with items you don't normally see. Nice to actually see the bigger chunks of quality vegetables in the dishes, rather than just pea sized vegetables that other take away use that's just come from a frozen bag of finely chopped vegetables. All in all a must go to, may be slightly higher £'s than the norm but in my view absolutely worth paying for quality rather than quantity. Nice owner and staff too which makes all the difference! Give it a try!

Had a menu poked through door and decided to give it a try due to the variety offered and the reasonable prices. Glad I did, very courteous when I phoned to order and upon collection. A few free extras and a nice touch with "luxury wet towels" Almost as a aside !! - Everyone enjoyed their food ! Will now be my go to take away in Totton

This takeaway was recommended to us. I phoned and the gentleman explained which dishes could be made vegan! Very tasty! Reasonable prices. I love to support local and love that they met our dietary needs. Please spread the word and support local.

Great value, great quality every time, great customer service! Aamnah' s are very welcoming, cook specially to you texture and taste on request and the quality of the ingredients definitely comes out in the flavours and finished product. Excellent!

Very expensive for what it is. Probably 50% more than other local takeaways and nowhere near as good as the best local ones. Poppadoms soft and rice a waste of time. Pots of food only half full. Tried due to the number of 5* reviews but they are not warranted. A lot of learning needed and a price correction before we would try again. Was willing to pay the extra this time to see just how much better than the other local takeaways it was.

Cooked in front of you, lovely taste and great people

Without doubt the worst Indian meals I've ever had. I could almost understand the 85 minutes it took from ordering as they're not long opened and it was busy but the respective dishes were nothing like any I've had before, and not in a good way. The unpleasant aftertaste was repeating on me all night! The one star relates to the rice & naan being okay. Such a shame as they're so local to me!

Ordered for the first time tonight and it was delicious. We'll definitely be ordering again. We had prawn passanda, mixed tandoori, garlic and keema naan, bhajis , mutter paneer, and they even threw in free poppadoms, after dinner chocolates and wet towelettes to clean our hands...so cute! All was piping hot and well cooked and really happy to have a great takeaway so close 😁

Best curry l had in long time ,menus bit different from other takeaways. Chingri Masala (monkfish, scallops,halibut ) was fantastic. Be going again this weekend.

Ordered a £52 order to feed the family and couldnt fault 1 thing, lamb just melts in the mouth, also seem like very nice people, just across the road absolutely spot on 👍
