Great pub although the food wasn't the best. We had a dish that contained minced meat and sadly there were bine fragments within the mince.

Rarely have I been so underwhelmed, the food was very basic, even for pub grub. I struggled to finish my Mac and Cheese and having paid £1.50 extra for garlic ciabatta I was expecting them to be slightly bigger than a 50pence piece. Don't think I'd go again to here or any other Hungry Horse.

we came for some dinner and ordered some drinks at the bar , and there was a very lovely girl i think called Emily O , her service was unbelievable and she was so polite with us , we’ve had very bad experience in a restaurant before and it’s made us not want to eat out and when we came for my daughters 20th birthday she was so lovely ! thankyou so much emily! i really reccommend!

First time at an English pub, I am visiting England from the Caribbean. I was there with my partner and she was the one that recommended. Food was absolutely mind blowing, lager really hit the spot we didn't have to wait long to be served, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and generous spaces for dining, it was everything I expected and then some. I will definitely make this pub a favorite of mine. My only gripe is that I did not see one glass horse there! In all seriousness, it is a lovely spot to relax and unwind.

myself and a friend used this as a halfway meeting pub for catch up and dinner and we both enjoyed our self, we booked a table and had not problem upon arrival, customer service and food was very good very happy with the prices, facilities were good as expected and atmosphere was good overall no problems no issues all clean and tidy as expected, i would absolutely choose this place again when myself and my friend meet up again

After booking earlier, on arrival there was no one on front of house so we stood around waiting for someone so we ended up sitting at a table ourselves. When sat down and even ordered, 20 mins after our arrival we got told to move to our “allocated” table. We moved as instructed but when we moved it was a further 5 mins until our drinks arrived. This didn’t start our evening meal off very well. I suggest that someone is allocated to work on front of house so this isn’t repeated going forward as this issue isn’t the first time for us which put us off coming here previously, but yet again the same thing has happened. Maybe writing surnames on reserved cards placed on tables would be a good start as we aren’t shy to look for our table!! The food is always standard but today my food arrived and it was cold…this wasn’t the chef’s fault, it is because our meals were originally sent to wrong table. I actually sent the meal back which I never do. When my meal came out again it was hot and good standard…. Just a shame the lack of front of house staff made this visit so poor. Think I’ll give this place a miss in future.

Came for food after a visit to a pantomime. The car park was very poorly lit and difficult to avail of a disabled space , then had difficulty seeing kerbs and pathways, etc. The main entrance is at the front with car park at that side/rear.

Came up to at Helen’s for Xmas with wife’s family, they certainly picked a good pub to get us out of the house! Fantastic pub for watching the sport on, after Xmas chat on repeat it was lovely to find a spacious pain, plenty of seating with big screens to watch the football. Even though it was busy there was plenty of screens for viewing. Nice Christmas vibe going on as well. Larger selection on tap was a bit dated and food took a while to arrive, but it was busy so no real complaints there. Nice bar staff, youngsters but could hold a conversation and serve with a smile which is a rarity nowadays I had the mixed grill, nice portion sizes and meat was ok, reflected the low price- onion rings were 10/10 though! Thanks for a nice day out glass horse! All the best for 2025!

Came for some food and a meet up with friends and what can I say, the pub looked amazing so festive amazing decorations the staff where in high spirits and always had a smile on their faces and looked fab in their Xmas jumpers. The food was amazing and hot i had the turkey dinner from the festive menu and it was lush plenty food to fill me up. It was busy but it didn't stop the staff from being spot on and always helpful. Will be back again.

It was a few days before Christmas. I had planned to go out for a coffee with family but had to change our plans because it was manic at starbucks. Luckly it was perfect time to get lunch and plenty of seats to choose from. (If you go around 11.30am Mon to Fri.) The food is very nice and was able to get a coffee too. (Bonus!) I can recommend "The Gravy One" which is a bit like a KFC tower burger with fries and onion rings. The burger has gravy on it and comes with a tub of gravy to pour or dip your chips in. Prior to the 2020 pandemic, they used to have a calvery every day. I really miss that and if there was anything I would want them to bring back, it's that.

Nice and cozy, kids loved it there. Ordered from the app and no problems, staff was very friendly. Food was very good! Would go again.

Not great today. Food wasn't the best and even though the deal on a Thursday is £1 pudding with a meal from the special selection, I wasn't told at the time of ordering that you had to order at the same time and when I went to order the dessert was refused and had to pay full price even though staff were at fault for not making it clear at time of purchase!

Lovely service from staff members. Always somebody nearby if I needed assistance. The only critism would be no cutlery for children out and no spoons. Food was great on this occasion, main pub/restaurant spotless, toilets however not so clean and tidy and lock broken on the only clean toilet.

Friendly staff great service and food it’s a pleasure to spend time with my friend and I we’re 2 OAPs and always book a table we’re we sit and put the world to rights, it’s always a enjoyable experience and will always make the glass horse our go to place to meet up.

First time and last time I’ll be visiting I’m not one to complain but Jesus came in Sunday 8th about 4.30 televisions absolutely blaring But I’m not here to talk about the tv it’s the food wow absolutely awful I got a beef roast dinner all the veg dried up mash was terrible potatoes were like dried prunes also got a lager flat as anything, my wife got the fairytale New Yorker she left nearly all of it on the plate again all dried up and for some reason there was tuna on top of it which is not mentioned on the menu so ye won’t be visiting again awful I was sitting on table 57

Booked a table today for 10 for a family get together food was lovely and even though there was alot of us they didn't have us waiting for a long time. Staff member ella was great making sure we had everything we needed and asking us if all our food was ok. Which it was thank you for a lovely meal.

Walked in the heat drove us out no aircon or it wasn't working . Shame food looked good . Doors wide open but no breeze. Update , visited recently the food was outstanding for the price. Hot, fresh and plentiful.

We had chicken burger the 2 for 1 offer, excellent value for money. Burgers and chips were large and cooked brilliantly. Service was amazing and with a smile, Catherine was a great server took time out to tell us about the menu, very friendly and welcoming.

We had a meeting near by and went in on passing. We ordered the food and drinks on line. We had 2 for 1 burgers and they were great. The soft drinks had a lot of ice. All the staff were lovely. The Korean bbq chicken burger was much larger than the home run burger.

Good old pub food you have to order at the bar yourself but that's no great hardship. Enjoyed our evening there. 😊

I eat here quite often, the sunday roasts are pretty good, the breakfasts are really good for the money and the kids like it too. The play area outback needs a little TLC but on the whole is ok.

Came in with my family for some food after school. My girls love coming to this place as they have the play area outside and you can see the play park from everywhere. The food was spot on nice and hot fresh chips which is always a bonus. My other half had the quadzilla burger and he loved it burgers we're cooked to perfection fries we're hot so no complaints from him. Staff were very polite and helpful nothing was to much bother for them and they were kind to my children aswell. Would recommend anyone to come here.

Had a great night in the glass horse tonight all staff nice and polite great food nicest it's been in a long time and too top it off the lad behind the bar josh and liam helped with me mithering about Christmas lunch and party's every 5 mins actually a great experience after bad experience in the past.

They ‘accidentally’ drop food on the floor and serve to customers. Think it’s absolutely disgusting and vile to do. Serving staff are rude and seem stuck up
