Once again, food was excellent, especially the new menu choices.

Food was great. Although I had to return some because it was just too much for me. Josh, who served us, made sure that we were satisfied with our meal. A football match was on during the same and the atmosphere was well maintained there was no arguments or shouting. Overall a good time out. Thank you

We were served by a lovely individual named Josh. He took our order and made sure we were well informed about our food choices. The food arrived hot and was very nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and Josh returned to make sure everything was alright with our meals. Would come here again :)

Had turkey Sunday roast as no beef was left, the meat was dreadful very dry and hard to cut as like boot leather,green beans must have been warmed up so many times, we were really disappointed also our starter came with chicken wings but waited and waited for the 2 bowls of chicken strips and had to ask for them in the end. All 4 of us felt the same about our experience.

Went in for food on the Tuesday and the food was amazing we got the lamb flatbread, mixed grill and kids Bolognese which is also vegan. There's such a good vibe in the pub. Daizy was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond for us would definitely recommend going there.

Great family pub with screens for the sports in each booth. Great outdoor play area for kids. Food menu was great. It was a busy Saturday tea time when we arrived so we had to clear the table ourselves as it there were empty glasses on there.. after about 15 mins, we just moved them onto a small empty table near by.

Absolutely lovely pub, the atmosphere and people are so welcoming. Not to mention it’s kid and dog friendly! The food was amazing, would definitely recommend this pub to anyone.

Came in for some food and drinks today, the pub had a lovely atmosphere. All staff was friendly and welcoming, food was great. A lovely lad called Adam served us at the bar, would highly recommend visiting.

Think I'm going to give up coming these hungry horse/flaming grill/ greene king establishments on a Monday. As a treat over the summer holidays, me, my mum and son have come out every Monday as a treat, only to find half the meals we've chosen (everytime) have been unavailable.

Oh dear, the manager woman was walking around wiping tables and had a real bad attitude. We had children in our party and they actually said, “Nanny why is that lady so angry.”You don’t spend £100 on a meal to have a misery guts walking around like she doesn’t want to be there. The meals have gone downhill too. Shame.

Cheap and cheerful tea after a day out with my grandchildren. Pub is load alot going on. My main reason I took the children was I had Clubcard vouchers. When I came to pay I was informed that hungry horse no longer let you use your Clubcard vouchers against offers and deals on the menu. I had to pay full price for the meals I will not be going to another hungry horse in the near future. Bad decision by hungry horse in my opinion for your customer experience

We attend quite often , especially Wednesdays in the school summer holidays to do the quiz. Great pub, food and atmosphere.

Went in for a couple of drinks and few bites to eat, i got greeted by a lovely young woman called Daizy such a big smile on her face. So i knew this was going to be a good experience, she then brought over our food for us everything very hot and it was delicious not one thing wrong. We got the mini mixed grill and fish and chips. Gorgeous!!! Would recommend to anyone. Such a chilled pub very friendly staff !! The only negative thing i have to say is overhearing a few of the staff talk about the other staff members negatively but overall an absolute amazing pub !!

Came here a couple of months back and thought it was really nice, came again for the 2nd time and items from the menu unavailable and the food itself was awful and not worth the money paid.

So went for food and drinks with a couple of friends, absolutely amazing food and service. Would recommend to anyone!! Stacey, Daizy, Mia, Liam, and Mark was very Accommodating and friendly, would absolutely go again.

Had a very nice experience for my birthday - the vegan chocolate torte is to die for! Shoutout to Daizy, our waitress - really good customer service!

Overall a pleasant meal, food was served fast and was nice, the atmosphere is very sports friendly with tv screens around the place showing different events. Staff don’t appear to have any specific uniform not that this is a bad thing. Tables where clean and today, plates where taken away quickly and staff where friendly all the time. Price was just over £40 for 2 people with 3 courses and 2 soft drinks. No pictures taken of the mains as we had a baby but managed to get one of the deserts.

The last 2 visits to this pub is have been appalled by the attitude of a member of their staff, I don't know her name she is tall, black hair and piercings, my first visit she was very abrupt to not just my family but other customers too, then proceeded to stand next to our table bad mouthing other customers as they sat at their tables. My latest visit a very polite gentleman went to check he had a table for us, she interrupted a conversation I was having with a family member with "what do you want" i explained we had been seen to and was waiting for someone to come back, she gave us all a dirty look and walked to the bar talking about us loudly how there was no room for us, she then came back over and said "we have no room for you, your going to have to leave" I asked could we not sit seperate as we were quite a large party but there were a lot of tables empty just not together, to which she abruptly said "no you can not you can not walk in here and expect to be seated and fed" Absolutely disgusting customer service I thought after listening to her slate customers maybe she was having an off day but clearly not! We will not be attending this pub again we would rather travel to widnes as they were welcoming, professional, go above and beyond to accommodate customers and food was amazing!

We all had great meals last night all served very quick in spite of the large number diners. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be going again.

Yet to receive a refund. I've ordered two of the Candy-mania ice cream but had one. Manager said they'll refund me the other one but they never did. Called them up and everything and still nothing. I want my money back!!

Popped into the glasshorse for a cheeky bite to eat, our bartender was a very friendly Irish girl called Rosie who asked us “what’s the craic!” We laughed as a said I don’t take drugs and she took our orders and then our drinks and food arrived and about 15 mins later , as we were leaving Rosie gave us a very cheerful see you later Overall food was very nice and we didn’t wait to long for it and the server was very pleasant if not confused by my drugs joke

I visited here & I was took back by how pleasent my server was I think her name was Rosie. She was so mannerly and polite and very helpful. I would definetly visit here again. The food was amazing too!!

Took my father for a celebratory meal, I spent more time watching the barman prance about, using his phone while pouring drinks. Stopped to chat to his friends between making a drink! Then served women who were behind me. All the while I’m left standing at the bar! Not many people. Our meal came out scabby cold chicken & chips. So I had to complain to the manageress, we were offered a refund or a replacement & we opted for a pudding. Yet only 1 replacement (sharing) pudding provided. We didn’t enjoy sharing. I certainly will not be eating here again, you really wanna put rubbish in yer belly come here.

I don't understand what's happened to this place. It's not how it was 3-4 yrs ago. We've not been for a very long time. We ordered 2 pub classics. Chicken was barely edible, portion sizes were small and couldn't order the Candymania for dessert from the adult menu. Also no veg/corn on the cob with children's meals. Just the burgers and six chips. Outside area near the play area was extremely dirty, dirty glasses and plates with old food on the tables, rubbish and menus all over the floor, even a dirty nappy (which i told a member of staff about and she removed it straight away) but looked like the whole area hadn't been cleaned properly for hours. People smoking near the play area, you can't call yourself a family/child friendly establishment then let people smoke near the play area 👎 On a positive the inside was definitely cleaner than the outside and staff were friendly.

Awful customer service! Management woman came bounding over shouting about ID for a drink. I actually asked her to calm down, to stop shouting at her customers and to act professional. She remained abrupt, rude, aggressive tone to the point where i requested a refund! She refused at first, but eventually said she would refund, because she made that much of a scene! She refused drink refund! Did not stay to rate food. Would never eat in any if these resturants because of her. She has lost company service

Food was hot and tasty. Didn't have to wait long. Server Drew was very polite and courteous, ensuring we had all that was needed and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Will visit again x

I was visiting the area and had heard from friends and family it was a great spot so me and a few friends went for a meal here. It had plenty of space around the tables which was brilliant. The food was brill and great value for money. the staff were all great and very helpful especially the bar staff. It was great to be able to play pool and darts to end off our night. Will definately recommend and visit again

Waiting over 13 minutes to be served by under staffed kids on the bar is crazy. Trying to get served here is crazy. Address your staffing issues.

This is no longer our local but we keep coming back most weekends. The staff are always amazing and very friendly. There was recently a menu change which led me to be a little stuck on what to order, Mark was brilliant and made an amazing recommendation, which I'd definitely have again. 10/10

Nice food, but clientèle were undesirable. 1pm on a Friday supping pints, swearing and being loud doesn't attract customers, and increases the chances of no return. Need to sort out the sticky tables too. Staff are great though. Sunday 14th July. Euro Final Day so every table was reserved. However instead of putting us (party of four today) somewhere quiet, they put us (literally) on top of another party (of 12). Huge place, literally empty and stuck us all together. Bizarre. And the other party were unbelievably loud. Atmosphere was drab. Every single screen was displaying darts re-runs from the 1990's whilst the Wimbledon final was being played. Again, bizarre! The food was fine and arrived quickly as it was quiet. Lots of it too. I had a quadruple burger which was simply huge if a little bland with the dressing! 😊 My wife had the Sunday roast which looked lovely. The carvery area has gone (why?) so it came as they saw it and extras such as cauliflower cheese are now an extra. On ordering, I was challenged for purchasing two bottles of cider for our eldest. He's 21. I've never, ever been challenged for purchasing an alcoholic drink for another prior to this, as I'd mark myself down as a poor parent by feeding alcohol to an underage child. Not content with challenging my ethics, they asked to see him which meant walking all the way back to the cramped corner and embarrassingly request his presence before walking him back. They then didn't ask to see his identification. I was nonplussed by this (but not angry) as I asked if they'd challenge me if I drank six pints with my meal, then left and got into my car to drive home, and they said of course not. Seems morals and ethics may be left at the door under certain circumstances. Facilities and kid friendliness is still top notch, but another frustrating trip there with what happened at the start, and being lumped with a very large noisy party when there were empty tables everywhere. Really nice to get out, but I don't think I'll be returning any time soon.

What a pub to visit. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Behind the bar is a Adam who is good humoured regardless of how busy the bar is, and he takes things in his stride. Having said that all the bar staff deserve medals for how busy they work. Recently I visited with my husband for the final of the European Cup and i thought i had pre booked a table. It turns out i hadn't (hubby said you do it i said no you do it) Kath the GM met us at the door with a very warm welcome and a smile she assured us we would be seated somewhere. It was refreshing for a manager to want to take charge and take an interest in us as a customer. I know this is not a 4* establishment but the service you get is 4*. We come here a couple of times a month and the food is excellent quality for the money. And ALL the staff are pleasent. The venue is clean. The outside area is also clean and plenty of tables. They have a children's play area too
