Friendly service, good food. Nice big portions , the Calamari starter especially. You have to try the Pork Chop, never seen anything like it! Beautifully cooked and tender too.

Well what can I say!!! I booked a meal for a large group for my husband’s 50th. From popping in to make the booking to the actual meal itself was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Louise and her team were amazing!! All of the food served was pipping hot, portion sizes were huge and the food tasted fantastic. Especially the steaks!! Cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The staff at The George are very approachable and eager to help in any way they can. The venue is gorgeous and fantastic for families with little ones. In between meals, the garden play area kept our little ones busy, whilst the adults mingled and caught up. We will definitely be returning and if you are looking for a venue with a private dining area. This is definitely the place to book. You won’t he disappointed!!!

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Greeted warmly upon arrival, service was quick without being pushy and just so friendly, we only had mains and desserts and both were served in good time and to perfection, i had the colossal pork chop and believe me it lives up to its name, seasoned and cooked so well, moist and succulent. I was amazed how tasty the accompanying salad was, and fries as well, a huge portion at a very decent price! The staff were so lovely when they saw I couldn’t finish it that they boxed it up to take home, (my son was also very impressed when he ate it) Toilets are clean, car park is a good size and the building itself is beautifully kept inside and out and very clean. Decor is ambient. The menu is varied and has something to suit everyone’s taste without breaking the bank. Just all round good value for money. This will be my new go to for date night from now on. If I could rate it higher I would.

I've been here two or three times. Each time there's been a nice atmosphere, a place to sit and work while having a hot drink or snack. The staff are friendly and they offer what good customer service used to look like. Hot drinks are lovely. They open early which is perfect for early risers. They do close early however the reasons why are commendable as they do so to support the community. Bear in mind they do have music playing in the background so if you’re working, noise-cancelling headphones for meetings, calls etc would be advised.

This is a great place to pop in for a coffee and/or meet friends or colleagues for lunch. There is a good selection of drinks and brunch or lunch options and a great selection of cakes if you want to be a bit naughty! There is loads of space, ample free parking, free wi fi, and the lady serving on the couple of occasions I have visited so far is absolutely lovely she really makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Prices very reasonable as well - what's not to like? Only a couple of minutes from city centre, I thoroughly recommend you give this lovely cafe a try.

We tried Tea and Toast in Wolverton for breakfast today. Pictured below is the Spanish omelette and their Turkish breakfast. The portions were really super sized. The place seems to be very popular with locals and the owner is an amazing chap who was going around making sure everyone had what they needed. He even offered us complimentary Turkish tea at the end of our meal. Everything came in at a very reasonable price and we even had to take away quite a bit as couldn’t finish it all.

Visited this hidden gem while our Grandson was having swimming lessons. What a find, being inside a large gym it was extremely unlikely that I’d ever stumble across it. I’m glad I know it’s here now. The cheesecake was to die for as was the Victoria sponge that my wife had. All homemade on the premises by the very friendly guy who looked after us. I suppose if you really thought it necessary you could go and work it all off in the gym. I preferred to sit comfortably in the lovely spacious cafe though and let it all settle gently. I’m definitely going to come back and try the breakfast!

The bookshop has long gone, sadly, but happiness and fun lingers... The Little Bookshop has reopened! Stop by for a poetry group or freshen up your computer skills; bring the kids to a dedicated kiddies library; meet friends for coffee and cake or even grab dinner from the soon-to-be opened Community Fridge.
