Sweet Affaire in Milton Keynes

We went out of our way to visit here last Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we waited more than 5 minutes for any staff to appear to serve us - despite us speaking to each other in the restaurant so we could be heard. The member of staff did not apologise for leaving us waiting when he arrived. We asked for flat whites with oat milk but were told they could only do black coffee with oat milk as the flat whites come out of a machine with cows milk. I don't think a shop that prides itself on coffee should be reliant on a machine to make the drinks. Asked if they had any dairy free/ vegan cakes but they had none. So we left having ordered nothing. Don't bother visiting if you have any dietary requirements or want a real coffee.

Such a wonderful place. Cakes and desserts are delicious. Location is very convenient with plenty of free parking directly outside. The decor is great, soft music and the place remains open until 10pm, which is so good. A family friendly place. We love your café/eatery.

this was our second time going here, definitely a spot you can eat and chat with your friends. its a cute and good dessert spot (they also have savoury options, i recommend the lamb baos!). the chef even came out asking for feedback on his dish which was cute only problem was, there was no place to wash our hands after devouring the baos. :( regardless, we overall recommend!

Fallen in love. Best cakes I had in Milton Keynes in quite some time. Had a chocolate fudge cake but will be back to try some other goodies. Easy to access with ample parking.

Decided to go out just for dessert and found this gem online with great reviews. They did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our sundaes. Since it was an off-time, there was plenty of seating inside and there's quite a large parking lot (front and back).

The employees were the star of the show. Very welcoming and relaxing. Good range of desserts - cake was tasty. The waffles also looked nice. Comfortable chairs and vibe.

By far the best dessert place around, very reasonable prices! and everything is fresh and tastes wonderful, always super lovely service you can tell the staff care about you and the food, if you're gonna get dessert here is the place everyone else is either overpriced or doesn't use fresh ingredients, once you taste the deliciousness tastes of pure heaven from here you will never choose anywhere else.

We ordered a vanilla milk shake and Banana Oreo waffle on a cold Sunday afternoon. It was tasty and delicious and it was a good amount of portion to fill the two of us.

Came to this cute cafe with my family and was not disappointed! Such a huge variety of cakes and the waffles were amazing. We had the butterscotch cheesecake and the biscoff waffle which everyone loved. Service by Arnav was very good and he was very polite. Would 100% recommend

I really loved spending time with my friends. The owner Arnev is really lovely and welcoming, he was happy to help us with whatever we needed and he would come and speak to us about how we were. I had the hot chocolate which was really good, it was very rich. Probably the best I have had so far. I then also bought my dad the lotus biscoff cheesecake which looked absolutely beautifully presented. I then also had the strawberry chocolate gateau, this was absolutely delicious, it was very soft and there was a lot of flavour. I will definitely come back, they also had very beautiful decorations. Thank you again❤️

Very nice ice cream and gateux, service needs to improve and maybe serve some salty products as well for example pizza or baguettes, and location is not an ideal place for it (next to an orthodontist 😂) Update: very good and delicious cakes.

We visited today the sweet affaire! We had cappuccinos and cheesecake strawberry and chocolate mouse. It was all very delicious, so fresh and the coffee was amazing! The shop is super cozy, friendly customer service, area with romantic vibes and so clean! At the end we had carrot cake for free!! Definitely coming back and recommended.

Lovely little cafe on Oldbrook, serving ice-cream, cakes, waffles and other sweet treats, along with a selection of hot & cold drinks. Great quality and service, they really made us feel welcome; very comfortable seating where you could sit and while away an hour or so over coffee and cake.

So glad I found out about this little gem! I can honestly say the cakes are absolutely delicious, lovely flavours. The gelatos are tasty too. The quality is like no other, always tastes fresh and moist, they do aim to please for the customer so friendly and accommodating! Favourites are the strawberry gateau and the fruity cheesecakes. Thankyou Sweet Affaire for my late night delicious deliveries!

Went to @sweetaffairemk , a wonderful little café in Oldbrook where they sell fine French Pâtisseries made by "Montmartre Pâtisserie" and OMG what to say but just that I finally found my spot to go for REAL French Pâtisseries in Milton Keynes!!!! I had a "Fraisier" 🍓🍚🍰 and a "Banoffee Tartelettes" which was AMAZING!!! 🍌🥧🍯 🎉🇫🇷❤️🤤 100% highly recommended if you wanna taste a bit of France...

What a wonderful little spot. My husband and I came here around 9pm at night and we’re greeted with a lot of kindness. We were the last customers of the night and at no point felt rushed to leave or anything. Wonderful staff member working on Saturday August 19th who had wonderful service skills and also gave us an extra sweet treat for being his last customers. We loved this cute and cozy dessert cafe. Would totally recommend and I cannot wait to come back and try more.

Did not disappoint. We were on the hunt today for a great milkshakes and we found them. We had Strawberry, Mars and Buenos milkshake. All made fresh. Glad we found, next visit we will try the cakes.
