The George Inn in Arun

Popped in for lunch by chance whilst waiting to go into Butlins. We made a great choice. Staff were super welcoming and provided colouring for my two year old grandson to entertain him. Sandwiches were lovely and fresh and really tasty.

Not a proper carvery … they serve everything & it’s heated up to serve as you are seated,, warm & tasteless! £16.50 & price going up really?

Brilliant carvery. Loved the "sittings" so that all the food was freshly cooked and each table being served at a time. Veggie option was fantastic. Loved the attention to detail, someone taking your plate to the table for you was a great touch. If in the area again would definitely revisit.

Visited for dinner when we were staying locally. Friendly welcome. Good choice on menu. Both chose the steak & ale pie from the Specials board which was really lovely. Piping hot & generous serving, so much so that we couldn’t manage dessert.

Stumbled on this pub, very traditional bar etc and was expecting the usual pub fare, and if that’s what you want it is available but also some different options. I had the Porchetta stuffed with fennel and garlic served with mash and veg, my husband flatbread with spice chicken and peppers, followed with lemon roulade. It was all very delicious and such friendly staff and atmosphere.

Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch at the George. Food was cooked to perfection along with the customer service. Excellent beers and lovely garden to sit in.

Had a fantastic lunch today at The George at Felpham. New menu plus a specials board so hard to choose from so many dishes! Beautifully freshly cooked and presented. Piri spirits chicken skewers with salad on flat bread and chips, new York chicken, coleslaw and chips, 3 lamb chops with veg and new potatoes £17. Only complaint was portions of chips too huge but all delicious!

5/5 - great traditional pub grub! Special shout out on the garlic prawn starter. Hosts were very friendly. Pub was very clean

Excellent lunch for the Family over the Easter weekend (10 of Us ) We arrived and were promptly seated the carvery was of generous portions with an option of beef turkey or pork homemade gravy and lots of veg and roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding a good selection of desserts on offer sticky toffee pudding cherry crumble chocolate brownies and ice cream all the family enjoyed the staff are excellent and attentive a great place to eat THANKYOU FROM THE HUGHES FAMILY SOUTH WALES

Everything about our visit was amazing. The welcome from the staff behind the bar, the varied choice of food, the service was fantastic. This pub is clearly very popular with the locals but as outsiders we were made to feel so welcome. The barman overheard our chat about wishing we had brought a pack of cards and next minute he has produced a pack of cards for us. The lady was exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. I was torn between the sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding or the chicken and ham pie. I was delighted when both needs were met!!! See picture! 150% recommend.
