Baps N Buns in Arun

There has been a change of ownership and additions to previous menu I've seen the cafe slowly improving and building there reputation I couldn't fault the food or prices The service can occasionally be under siege when local building sites come on mass But it's nice to see them busy Id recommend others to try baps and buns

My 1st visit. I happened to walked past and noticed the muffins in the warmer. I didn't feel the warmer but was surprised when I got home to find the muffins were fridge cold. I was expecting fresh home made. The Biscoff muffin was tasty but definately store bought. A little disappointing.

Enjoyed a small breakfast the other day (pictured), and today got a large breakfast delivered to where I was working, as it was midday and I hadn't eaten. Very nice, and reasonable value, only I would have found it easier to eat if you had sent knife and fork, and a napkin wouldn't go amiss either 😉.

We didn't realise that we had ordered from Barnham when we're in Chichester. It arrived within the time stated and it was still hot. It was definitely worth waiting for, we all throughly enjoyed it.

The order hasn't arrived, despite saying delivered in the tracking.

far too exoensive for a small sandwich and bap made from a seeded burger bun. was at least expecting decent bread for £6 not a couple of slices of thin cut hovis

Simply the best bacon and sausage baps around, soft tasty and brilliantly cooked

Ordered online a few times, first few were good enough but they now consistently replace expensive cakes and pastries (£2.50-£3.50) with petrol station plastic wrapped muffins that you can buy 16 for £12 elsewhere. Sandwiches etc are fine but massively overpriced at around £6 for a sandwich you could make to the same quality at home. Absolute robbery. Avoid at all costs

Food was hot, tasty and well priced. Will happily order from here again, recommended.

Was open on just eat at 0730, placed order. Was accepted with a delivery slot of 0820 to 0840 but then at 0805 they just cancelled the order. Couldn’t call them either as the number on just eat and on google here don’t work.

I came and sat down at a table to order from the menu. The lady serving was busy serving walk-in guests at the counter and delivering food to other seated diners and walked past me several times without acknowledging me at all. I waited patiently for her to serve everyone and even have a short chat with staff in the kitchen but there was no chance of me ever being served. After 15 mins and new customers walking in being served immediately I had had enough and left the cafe taking a short walk to the alfresco cafe opposite the chip shop and was served immediately. Maybe there was service only at the desk in which case I should have been clearly informed rather than just ignored sitting at the table. This is disappointing as I left a negative review after receiving curt & objectionable service last year and subsequently received a very nice email saying “sorry the person has been identified and please give us another try” That is it as far as I am concerned and shall never return which also applies to my family and friends.

Good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, proper cafe

This bakery closed at 12:45 . I drove a long way to try this bakery and the signs at the front and everything online says open until 1:30 . Very disappointing

Stopped off for a full English breakfast, food quality is good, it arrived quickly and well cooked to. Nice quantity too without feeling stuffed or short changed. I left a review but it's was wrong on pricing on my behalf I saw a take away menu, need glasses?! Nice place to go and lovely staff.

Never normally leave reviews but on this occasion I am. I came in yesterday with my wife and we had 2 big breakfasts ,which was amazing value and good ingredients. At the time there was a group of builders that moaned and swore about paying vat for eating in .They carried on using foul language. The staff handled it well. No one should ever be abused at work. Well done everyone that works there ,a great team

Honestly the nicest place. this is a proper classic café and me and my family come here all the time. its our pay day treat and its the best thing ever. they are so good with dietary needs and have such friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped by in the morning before a long walk to get some bacon baps for breakfast. They were lovely and the staff serving were extremely friendly. We enjoyed it so much we stopped by again the following day for baps again. Also picked up a steak slice and one of their brownies - all food was delicious and great value.

This wholemeal bread is filling and delicious when toasted with butter, worth the extra money over Super-market bread which in recent years has become " Pap" and very soft.

I buy Multi seed cut loaf from Baps N Buns, great bread and it freezes well. Also supply a good range of cakes.

just popped in today i thought i would try one of the take-away breakfasts ive never had a take away brekkie before but i gotta say it was bloody lovley.....everything you need plus toast....yeah i will most definatly be returning and also what a great lady also....MANY THANX...

We had so many lovely compliments from people about how delicious the food was. We cannot thank you enough for delivering such outstanding catering for this very special occasion. Baps 'N' Buns catered for my sons Christening, doing a buffet for 50 people. It was amazing, huge variety of food for adults and children. The service was really good and they did everything I asked for and more. Excellent value for money. I would Highly recommend.

Havre become a fairly regular visitor to the cafe area over last few months service is very friendly and prompt. Homemade quiche is fantastic have tried several cakes all very tasty. Staff have got to know us and know our order of coffee and milkshake. Very reasonably priced too.

Disappointed every time I waste money here !! Never going again hot saisage rolls frozen in the middle this time ...the last time my husband found a dead fly in his pie ...surprised the place is still running !!

Popped in on a Saturday morning and had a choice of table, really friendly welcome from the lovely staff, felt instantly at home. Kept it simple, I just wanted beans on toast, and it was a really nice big portion with lovely bread. Nice coffee as well. Service was very quick, and the prices were really cheap. I feel as though we wouldn't have minded paying a bit more for them to upgrade the sausages to locally made ones from merry meats or eames, but that was the only concern from my partner's English breakfast. Good looking range of pies and cakes on offer, so I daresay we'll be going back soon to try them.

Delicious food, excellent service. Ordered a full english breakfast with extra bacon. Cooked to perfection. Sausages were a real treat very good quality not the cheap stuff you usually get in these places. Will be making another visit before xmas!

Called in with a friend for a quick coffee and slice of cake each last week - relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and our cakes were amazing! Will definitely be back! :)

This was a lovely little eatery that I visited after missing my train. I was a little down in the dumps but the welcome and the service cheered me up no end. As if that wasn't enough, my lunch was outstanding. Months down the line, that sandwich lingers in the memory.I don't know whether it was circumstance, the atmosphere or the food. All I know is that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Visit Baps n Buns!

Stopped off for a quick beeakfast before my train journey. Had a full fry up which was spot on. Good portions at very reasonable prices, will be back again soon.

I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon this amazing find. With friendly, prompt service, I enjoyed the best omelette I've ever had. I also took away a enormous hot meal to eat later. They had a great selection to choose from and what I chose, Chicken Jalfrezi, was to die for. Thanks again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Just passing and thought I would stop for and sandwich and snack. Very happy with it all. Will have to do it more often.

The lady server is incredibly rude and obnoxious, telling me off for having a sip of my own water! Then when I asked for a tap water she grunted and threw it down on the table The food was dry and undercooked and this was just a Terrible meal all round, would not recommend

Amazing buffet, great portion sizes and so much delicious food and Helen and Ricky were brilliant caterers.

This is without a doubt the worst overcooked dry breakfast. We had three breakfasts with solid eggs hard sausages and a spoonful of Luke warm beans in a pot the fried bread was clearly fried in oil that was not hot enough making it into an oil sponge it was a total waste of money we left totally disappointed and will never eat there again they need a chef that understands the concept of an English breakfast..

Awesome cheddar and bacon panini, great service have now have become a regular customer, would highly recommend very reasonable prices too :)

I stopped in to baps n buns while waiting for my train to London and I’m very glad I did.

Had a lovely espresso in baps n buns, and couldn’t resist a slice of homemade Victoria sponge which was very tasty, and I’ve never paid such little for such quality. Will definitely be back.

A fantastic cafe baker worth returning to again and again.

Baps and Buns catered for a buffet for 20 people and what a magnificent job they did! The food was all home cooked, very generous amounts, tasted delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and I can't recommend them enough, the next time you need outside catering go to Baps and Buns, you won't be disappointed.

Good service, good food, good price. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food comes out as quick as anything can't complain. Can't be a nice morning fry up with a nice cup of coffee. Fueled for the day let's go

This bakers / coffee shop is great value for money. If you want to eat inside the shop. You are not charged extortionate inflated prices on the takeaway price. The cakes are delicious.

Quick clean friendly good value and very tasty.
