Brilliant pub. There’s such a fantastic range of drinks available, all with a thorough description on the screens above the bar. Staff are superb, with fast service, friendliness and always willing to help even with the most basic of things like helping carry large orders to the table. Prices aren’t the cheapest in the area but equally they’re far from excessive for the setting and service. It’s not the largest area inside but they’ve maximise the number of tables available, plus there’s some directly outside as well as across the street which is a wonderful escape in the evening sun. There’s also a small function area downstairs which isn’t to be overlooked for a more intimate gathering. Everywhere is clean and offers a cosy environment. The toilets are underground but in good nick like the rest of the pub, and certainly kept clean. In recent months this has elevated to one of my favourite pubs in the local area, so while I don’t want to shout about it too much for fear of not getting a table again, I can’t do anything but highly recommend.

We decided to have a drink before returning to our nearby hotel. Good selection of beers. Not sure if food was being served. Several tables of friends/work colleagues. Good music that wasn't intrusive and intriguing decor. Well worth visiting if you're in the neighbourhood.

took my friends for a pint end up having a Sushi Burrito and I am impressed on how tasty it was, the flavour, texture and quality was really good, my girlfriend had the Halloumi Burger and she too enjoyed her meal, would definitely come and visit again as the beers on tap alone are unique and the staff are very friendly

Was one of my local pubs. Since the refurbishment it’s full of office workers. Friendly staff. Interior is quirky and odd. Ok for a quick drink

We had a great birthday celebration at this lovely pub in a very vibrant and friendly atmosphere. They kindly reserved a couple of tables for us and we had a wonderful evening!

Nice little bar with a good selection of draft beers. No food was available during our brief visit on a Saturday afternoon so we settled for a bowl of chilli nuts but the ambience was nice and the girl behind the bar friendly.

London is famous for its pies - as in meat pies, not dessert pies. We had a late supper here, and I ordered the squash pie (I'm eating less meat these days). It was the best pie I had all week. It was interesting that the kitchen was below the pub, and the food was sent up on a dumbwaiter behind the bar. Very cool!

Quite a small pub but with super friendly staff, good beer selection and great roasts... The gravy was the best I've ever tasted (sorry mum)! A great place to while away a Sunday afternoon, this would be a great local. Also super close to the station if you're not local.

My husband & I have now visited The George & Dragon twice! Our first time visiting was for lunch, we had a BBQ Sandwich with Fries & it was very good! We stopped in again tonight for a night cap & we had such a fun time! The George has the best staff & their drinks are delicious, especially the Slingsbury Rhubarb Gin & Ginger Ale! We can't wait to go back!

Der Service ist schnell und freundlich! Es gibt jede menge Craft Biere und die Premium Gin Sorten. Man(n) wird auch freundlich beraten, wie welches Bier schmeckt. Ein Ort um den Tag abzuschließen....

This was the friendliest pub I have ever visited in London. Such a lovely atmosphere and the beer is top notch too. I'll definitely be back there.

A quiet little pub on a side street but not one of the "establishment" pubs that are sadly all too common in London these days. Great selection of both cask and keg beers that were very distinctive. It was a rather quiet night so the barmaid (co-owner) was handling things by herself and she said she and her husband had bought the place about a year ago. Best pints we had in London so hope they make a go of things.

Un pequeño pub en Fitzrovia que descubrí no hace mucho y, aunque no es nuestro "local" a mí y mis colegas no me importa tomar un pequeño paseo para tener nuestro tragos después del trabajo aquí!

Nos ignoraron un rato en el bar y luego finalmente servido.

Vine aquí con compañeros de trabajo para probar el lugar recién comprado y fue una delicia! De Beers de artesanía a casera no podía creer lo genial que era todo! El servicio es excepcionalmente rápido y nos cuidaron por Anita que era espléndida y una auténtica ventaja para el bar. Anita nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y se ocuparon de nosotros muy bien. No puedo esperar a volver a probar el resto de las cervezas premium y la artesanía ginebras. Espero estar servido por Anita de nuevo!

Small pub with good selection of beers. Nice homely environment. Great for a Winters Evening pint.No TVs and fruit machines.

Dined at this wonderful, little pub after a long day walking around sightseeing. Two things of great note: no loud, blaring music and no TVs both of which seem to have become de rigueur as of late. Instead: excellent ales, great burgers, and good conversation. We were thrilled! The Rotham's Wheat, Oakham Bishop's Farewell, and Two Tribes Rye IPA were all excellent. We each ordered the eponymous George & Dragon burger and it was perfectly prepared and juicy. The cayenne aioli was the perfect topping. The staff were great and extremely accommodating - we walked in just as the kitchen was closing and they were kind enough to put through two more burgers for us. Looking forward to returning the next time we are staying in London.

First up, this local favourite has recently changed hands so don't be put off by older reviews. This classic style boozer has had a fresh lick of paint and been decked out with new chairs (not quite enough to seat the crowds mind you) and is now serving up a concise burger only menu. It's fair to say that London is saturated with burger joints but as a long time burger lover I'm gonna put it out there - these are damn good burgers. The buns are soft, the beef is juicy in all the right places, homemade aioli makes your mouth tingle and the choice of added toppings is divine - I had the Global Traveller drizzled with truffle - ohmagadddd. Even the chips and onion rings came with crispy onion bits (technical chefs term) and more of that lust worthy aioli. Enjoyed very mouthful. Thanks.

We was staying round the corner from here we fancied a proper Pub lunch and that is exactly what we got the lady serving is was lovely and the roast. Beef I had was top notch even the kids enjoyed there food I will definitely be going back here when I'm next in London what a good find

We are visiting from the U.S. and saw the George and Drago was open right across the street from where we're staying. Decided to stop in and got a taste of quintessential London. The owners were great and chatted with us, the beer selection was top notch and the Scotch Egg was amazing.It was a nicely done, local bar that we would definitely frequent if we actually lived in town. Planning to stop back for sure prior to our return to the U.S.

A friend and i passed by this gem accidentally and thought it looked ideal for a quick drink. We discover it was the first day of their re-opening under new ownership. The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and welcoming, and the music in the background was good. I will definitely pay them a visit again.

Nice English pub. Food was fresh and good and so was the ambiance. We had little time but stay here a while due to the atmosphere. Lot of food choices and every Saturday (?) BBQ. Pity we missed.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn a block away from the George and Dragon. Not open on Sunday evening, we stopped back on Monday and a few other nights.Quite small inside, but exactly what one would picture a British Pub to be. This Pub is located in a slight residential area, so the patrons are mostly local and not tourists. Staff was friendly. We did not eat here since food stops being served at 8:30pm, but good beer selection.

What a lovely find within London: a quaint traditional pub in central London. Although small, there's enough room to sit and chat. They do meals, too, which we are yet to try, but they did smell quite nice! No loud music, no excess noise from other patrons or any rowdy behaviour. The perfect place to catch up with old friends, or meet any new ones!

Nice pub inside however, it was a busy Friday evening. The pub bar area is small and the noise is overpowering and not condusive to a quiet evening drink.

We spent quite a few evenings here being that it was so close to our hotel. The ladies behind the bar were awesome and helpful. Definitely kept us coming back. It's a shame they don't get more business which causes them to stay closed on the weekends. Really enjoyed it here and would recommend stopping in for a pint or 3 :)

Had a nice - if ordinary - meal here, pleasant staff, reasonable pricing. Pet peeve of mine is staff removing one plate while others are still eating and they did that here :(But food was good and staff friendly. Not a big place, but one of more relaxed pubs in this area. Recommended.

Drinks very expansive two classes of wine and one non alcoholic half pint bottle!! Over £17.00 ! and the food not enough for the money ! But nice pub atmosphere !

This is a traditional British pub, with several guest and local beers with good traditional food at a reasonable price.

Just been to this place today for a quick lunch on my own before a meeting in the area. This pub is very nice. Nice tiny independent pub serving good food and good beer. What else can I ask?

The George & Dragon Marylebone is a proper pub in the heart of Fitzrovia serving traditional food with a twist. Great service and really good food.
