Great little church cafe with friendly staff and good food/drink! This cafe is purely volunteer ran and all profits go towards the associated church. The food and coffee was great and so reasonably priced unlike all the major coffee chains! Very covid friendly and felt safe at all times.

Lovely little cafe. Beautiful homemade cakes and really good coffee. Reasonably priced, centrally located. Most staff are volunteers trying to get back in to the workplace after a tough period so the cafe is providing a great service... Really good to be supporting the local community whilst enjoying brunch.

we had an enjoyable visit to The Gateway Cafe, warm and friendly service from an abundance of staff. Good food, and great coffee. what we had was maybe a little overpriced food wise but it was very good and tasty. concerned with the amount of people (they weren't customers and didn't seem to be staff or suppliers) walking in and into the kitchen which had the door left wide open, and open access to cleaning supplies including coshh regulated cleaning fluids/materials

Very tasty food, unbelievably reasonably priced, staff so friendly and welcoming.A joy to be served lunch in this unpretentious, professional and efficient cafe. I would recommend to everyone ; locals are missing a treat if they’ve not made use of the cafe, and for holiday makers or day trippers, popping in here for a coffee, meal or snack would make the Warwick experience complete.

This cafe is handily placed opposite Warwick Castle and near the town centre. On a busy Saturday lunchtime they made space for us and a highchair for our 1 year old. Food was tasty and service prompt. We had soup, panini, followed by delicious coffee and walnut cake. Coffee comes in 2 sizes depending on your need for a caffeine fix. Prices are very reasonable and less than the usual coffee chains, but the coffee and cake was as good as or better than the usual fare. Beware that they only take cash.

My second time here, this time with the kids. We were given a warm welcome and the kids were kept entertained with the toys and colouring equipment. The food is great value and the kids ate it all. The pancakes in particular were excellent.

Popped in with friends for a cup of coffee which was very good. An array of cakes and hot food at reasonable prices. One toilet which is upstairs and they are tight, a little difficult for more mature people one would think. Has history.

We nipped in for a quick bite and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The food was freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. The staff were happy to chat about the history of the cafe and were glad to assist with any questions.

Came in for a coffee and cake. Absolutely amazing Victoria sponge and great soya latte. Spoke to a lovely gentleman called Arthur, he told me a bit about the castle and the great tram crash of 1916. Came out with a big smile on my face, would love to go back again :)

Called in mid morning after spotting whilst walking around Warwick. Clean and welcoming. Helpful friendly staff and very reasonably priced. We had toasted Teacakes and a drink, only downside the Teacakes came out with two packs of a fridge hard butter and the Teacakes were not too warm so very hard to spread with the rock hard butter as it did not soften on the almost cold Teacake.

Popped into the cafe mid morning. The staff are welcoming and very polite. I was very good in resisting what looked like very nice cakes on display, until a lady came and and asked if I would like a scone "fresh from the oven". Well this was a huge deal breaker and 30 seconds later I was sat there with a warm scone and jam! Brilliant lovely service and great staff.

Lovely coffee and as cheap as we have had anywhere. A very warm welcome by the church volunteers who run the establishment but be prepared to be somewhat bored as you hear the same story being told over and over to each newly arriving guest.

Stumbled across this little cafe on Saturday and what a lovely little place it is. Very reasonably priced, extremely polite staff who are volunteers for the church and food was to a good standard. Was nice how the staff come over and spark conversation whilst you are waiting for food. This will definitely be the little cafe I go to whenever visiting Warwick from now on.

The ham and cheese baked potato I had here was very good. My husband also enjoyed his ham and cheese panini. We we in a hurry to get to our next destination and had to make a quick stop. The ladies who waited on us were very nice and served us quickly. I liked this place because it is run by a church and their aim is to minister to the community via their cafe. Very cool. Relaxing place to be.

Modern, friendly, sparkling clean and with wonderful home made cakes, this little cafe easily is so much nicer than the grotty corporate American chains that are your alternative. All the food is prepared on the premises each day and there's always someone to stop and chat if you wish to. A stone's throw from the entrance to the castle, it's great value for a quick lunch or a lingering coffee.

The Gateway Cafe is Warwick's best kept secrets in the cafe sector. Great welcoming staff and the coffee tea and hot chocolate are top notch Barista quality and superb value for money. It is a wonderful place for a soup or lunch - very tasty. Comfy spot near town and I love that it is a church cafe that is as good as any high street coffee shop. Looking forward to my next visit!

This small cafe opposite Warwick Castle is associated with Castle Hill Baptist Church. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the excellent coffee is all fairtrade. The food is very good value for money; the home-made soup is tasty and the paninis and daily specials are always delicious.

Every time I'm in Warwick (~once every couple of months), I always go here for a cup of tea. It's smack bang in the middle of town, right next to the castle, so it's perfect if you're visiting it. It's a small place, but they do excellent cakes and bites, as well as small lunches. It's very relaxed, and the staff are really friendly and great to have a chat with. Highly recommended.

We rocked up with 2 large families with young children. The staff were very friendly. Most of us had hot chocolates, and they were probably the best tasting hot chocolates we've had in a long time. And very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Visited for Sunday lunch, party of six. Warm welcome and nice to chat to the manager and meet the chef. Food was excellent, lovely Sunday roast beef with all trimmings. Good portions and efficient service. Was very busy with drinkers for a Sunday lunchtime, the older generation in Norton Lindsey deffo like to hit it hard on the day of rest! Nice to see a community asset really buzzing. Would recommend.
