No idea why this place gets such bad reviews. Found myself here for a 2nd visit during an event at.the Mac, whose cafe was again very busy. Bacon sandwich and portion of chips. Bacon was of good quality.and served on white bread (I hate any cafe that only offer *healthy brown bread*.) Chips were fine as well. Not long.waiting on the food and all the staff were extremely polite and friendly. In all fairness if you are looking for high end dining this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for some reasonably price food with excellent service, check out this place.

Visited today and ordered 2 cheese and tomato toasties and an English breakfast tea. was given tea and a token for the toasts. Waited for 45 min to be told white bread is not available anymore. agreed to have brown instead. waited another 15 min for the toasties. by that time the tea was like cold juice. staff still expected a profuse 'Thank you' for the ordeal. Would never ever go back nor let my future generation get anywhere near. they take on more they can bite. no professionalism. corona has a free run in there with hardly anyone wearing masks. the place needs to be shut down in the interest of public health.

We had lunch here after a morning visiting the play area, land train and fair rides in Cannon Hill Park. Access to the Tearoom is on the upper path in the park, adjacent to the Band Stand. The menu was quite comprehensive and we ordered egg, beans and chips; beans on toast and a bacon sandwich. The food was well cooked. Service was adequate (server could have been more welcoming). Toilet facilities are just about adequate as there is only one ladies. It appeared to be well frequented by a variety of patrons.

The building looks like something from the world of Jurassic park 2, it's obvious no one's spent a single penny on it since it was built. I didn't want to judge a book by it's cover though and gave it a chance. I went up to the till to order and the waitress was unbelievably rude and miserable, like she didn't want anyone there. My girlfriend got a hot chocolate which consisted of a single teaspoon of powder in hot water. I asked for a mocha which they didn't have, so I got a coffee which was literally just a spoonful of Nescafe in water. The tables weren't clean, the chairs were cheap and uncomfortable and for some reason the mugs were all different. There's such an opportunity for a nice cafe here, but this place just wastes that.

Had a lovely morning watching In the night garden in Cannon Hill Park and we were feeling peckish afterwards so headed here for a bite to eat, really wish we hadn't! I had a veggie breakfast which was the worst I have ever tasted, the scambled egg tasted off and the mushrooms came out of a tin, I mean come on this is simple food and requires no skill to cook! The only edible thing on my plate was the toast! My little girls fish fingers we the cheapest looking type and her chips looked as though they needed cooking about more. This place has th potential to be a great little eatary and you can serve up good, wholesome food without it costing the earth, this food comes from the freezer or a tin and I doubt the establishment uses many fresh ingredients! Get with the programme and stop serving up war food! The price was cheap but to be honest I would not mind paying more for tasty, edible food.

My family and I had a lovely walk around Cannon Hill Park and thought we would try out the Garden Tearoom before hitting the crazy golf. Very dated inside and the quality of food and drink is poor. What a shame as so much potential here in this busy park area. The prepacked biscuits/cakes are a lazy attempt of snack offering, these were very close to Best Before Date and the cookies that were wrapped in cling film tasted disgusting, where are the homemade cake slices or afternoon tea this place is crying out for. Alot of corners cut with cheap alternatives. If I come back to the park I will head for the cafe in the Mac Centre. The management really need to kick this place up a notch as they could be making a killing. Really hope they increase the quality here.

A very pleasant environment in which to sit down for a cuppa and a cake and use the facilities whilst enjoying the splendid environs of Cannon Hill Park or at the start of a longer trip. Efficient and pleasant service.

Nice location, can sit inside and outside, had bike racks and ramp and steps also had toilet. We only had a bowl of chips and hot and cold drinks, reasonable prices, couldn't fault it.

What a great tearoom! Unpretentious, straightforward, does what it says on the tin (as they say!). Great range of breakfast / sandwiches (hot, cold, toasted) / jacket potatoes / chips type meals, as well as a great range of hot and cold drinks. It also sells a range of cakes, some sweets, and lots of ice creams. It is GREAT value for money. Toasted sandwiches for £3 - £4, jacket potatoes for £3 - £5, ice cream cones for £1 (and £1.20 for a tub with two scoops, £1.50 for a double cone).....and really friendly. It is a great place for a simple cuppa or something more and I wouldn't think about going anywhere else in the park for food and drink.

I used to come here every Friday to get work done, but about a year ago I noticed a shift in attitude amongst staff. Only way to describe it is the "cba" attitude. I returned yesterday with my 4 year old, and two things happened. It was clear we were sitting in and despite that everything was put in to-go cups and bags and put on a tray and brought over to us. When I stated we were sitting in the man took my drink back, had it sent over in a cup by an odean staff member. I later went up to ask for some water and you would think I cussed out his mother the way he rolled his eyes and had another staff member get me the water. You would think he wasn't there to work. Second thing, the babychino was pipping hot, my daughter burnt her mouth and tongue on the drink. I didn't check it beforehand because it's obviously for a child and when I went to drink it after her to check, I was mad. It was hotter than my coffee. Date of attendance 31st May 2022.

No probamos.

I would not advise anyone to visit this creams the staff needs changing especially the manager. The lady has no people skills she is not friendly. When I want to buy ice cream it’s for my daughter. But sometimes I would indulge by getting myself one in a cone. A desert shop should make you happy not depressed. The manager always gives off the energy like she does not to be there or that we are giving her work to do. The other staff how ever are okay. I won’t be back. Also the smoking in front of the establishment what is with that? Why hasn’t the shop got any music seems like they want folks out more than in hell they don’t even want to be in.

Nunca he visitado este café antes.
