The Garden Street Grill in North Norfolk

Great friendly restaurant, excellent choices on the menu, with the added bonus of the special on the blackboard, good portion sizes, great tasting food, and the puddings, rice pudding and jam all I can say is wow, 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely little restaurant, very busy and they were turning people away. So be sure to book in busy periods. The menu was good and the food was amazing. 2 young ladies serving worked very hard. also not too expensive. Lovely dinner out on our holiday to Cromer.

Met up with family in Cromer for my brothers birthday. 5 adults and a 9 year old. Lovely atmosphere and the lunch time menu 12 - 4 was excellent value for money. One mains and a dessert for £15. The service was first class. All the meals came out together and beautifully cooked. Will definitely be returning.

Five star food and five star service resulted in a great dining experience. The portion size of the homemade food was excellent and the Baileys Cheesecake was 10 out of 10! Definitely worth a visit if your in Cromer.

The restaurant did an early evening meal for a family group of 13 people before going to the end of pier show. Every meal was hot,well presented,and delicious. The staff were great decorated the back area fir the birthday meal and really looked after us. Can't thank them enough for helping to make the night magical

Found this place in Cromer for dinner last night. Been really struggling all week to find places as lots of places.havent been open because its not half term until next week here. Food was amazing. We ordered Pie of the day, pork ribs and gammon. We also all had dessert and drinks. Staff friendly and food hot and tasty.

Everything from beginning to end was 5 star. Welcoming, friendly, clean throughout, service by all members of staff, and the food too! Wow not many of this quality anywhere along the north Norfolk coast and beyond. Try it you won’t be disappointed!

We were able to get a last minute walk in booking at the Garden Street Grill. The staff were immediately very helpful and friendly. Upon taking up our booking we selected our main meals from the specials which were promptly delivered to our table. The steak and ale pies were delicious; added bonus of fresh vegetables and new potatoes. The meal was really tasty and obviously homemade. The desserts were also homemade and of good quality. To top it all, the meal was very reasonably priced. We’ve been visiting Cromer for years and somehow missed the Garden Street Grill. We will definitely return.

Had booked a table, were seated immediately. Drinks orders taken quite quickly then for ordered. Cottage pie with veg., Sea bass with prawn and chilli butter and pork loins in cider and leek gravy with mash and veg followed by Apple cinnamon crumble, caramel apple and custard and white chocolate with stem ginger cheesecake. If you are looking for genuine home cooked food you will not find better. Really friendly attentive service and a good atmosphere. A really nice family run business we will return to.

Family owned and run with great meals for anyone. Their Sunday lunch is a feast and any of the meals are well worth getting.

Really lovely beef Sunday dinner. Delicious gravy and cauliflower cheese to go with the perfectly cooked vegetables. Gluten-free gravy and Yorkie equivalents if you need them (no cauliflower cheese for you though!). Absolutely fabulous and the apricot Bakewell pud was sublime. Thoroughly recommended

Having a day in Cromer we found this small restaurant and waited for it to open at 12 noon. It didn’t look much from the outside but appearances are deceptive! From the friendly greeting to fetching our bill quickly when we had to rush for the car park, service was excellent as was the food. My husband had a cottage pie with vegetables from the lunch menu and I had poached salmon in hollandaise sauce from the specials board. Both were delicious, the vegetables perfectly cooked. Total cost with drinks £32 - no wonder the restaurant filled up as we were eating.

Couldn't decide where to eat and have walked past the restaurant a couple of times, decided to give it a go. Food was really good and very reasonable priced, home cooked and tasty. The services was really good too. Will definitely be back next time we are in Cromer.

We had been to the Grill the year before and had to come back. We booked for the Sunday Lunch, which was great and then went back two evenings during the week. All the food is cooked on the premises, nothing whacked in the microwave from frozen. I can reccomend the rack of ribs, and also the lasagne, very tasty. The staff are really nice, the prices are more than reasonable. Would highly reccomend you try this small restaraunt should you visit Cromer. And book ahead, they are popular.

We have been coming to the Garden Street Grill for the past 4 years when we have our family breaks . We have always found the Garden Street Grill and the staff to be excellent and the food to be great as well and Sunday lunch is a must for anybody visiting Cromer . We were lucky enough to have our evening meal here this week and were told the normal chef had left and though the new cooks meal was OK , we hope to return next year and see the Garden Street Grill back to it's superb best , thank you so much as always x
