Food good some days, bad others. If only having UPay was optional yet you have to pay £500 a semester as part of the catered accommodation. Getting groceries would be far cheaper and healthier.

The Garden Room is the student canteen at Writtle University College. Food is reasonable and quite cheap and students can pay with their Student Card. There is a Starbucks concession that serves some decent coffee that is open Monday to Saturday.

The StreetI've wanted to go to this pub for ages. The reason being it was Keith flints pub. I was absolutely made up that I've photos of me outside which I'll frame. I do live far away so this has made my year being a big fan. I went inside and it was not what I expected. To be honest it has some nice charm to it. A real nice country pub. Prices are reasonable and the bar staff very friendly. I would recommend and would love to go back again.

16, Chandlers WayA lovely surprise. Nice food and friendly staff. The beer range is good and reasonably priced. Situated next to Asda, a welcome watering hole for a thirsty shopper.
