Ordered 2 lamb doners ant just got donermeat no salad or bread called repeatly to be passed from one guy to another to be told this was what I ordered menu says all kebabs served with salad they hang up 3 times

Delivery took over 2 hours. Food stone cold, we had to warm it all up. Not good enough for a £50 order. 1st and last time ordering from here.

I've spent hundreds in this place and was left disappointed, normally food was OK, out of nowhere, after spending £50 we received a sarma beyti without any sauce or toppings, as a Turkish person this was a slap in the face. On top of that the other dishes weren't like pictured. I then thought after receiving a bunch of bad food and wasting money, to order again, my order was then cancelled and when i rang up, i was told my address which is 10-14mins away was to far and if I wanted there food I have to pay more, i met the order requirment they set, no loyalty to clients who spend loads of money in this place, I understand its a fast food resturant, but they need to chill, someone will open up and do a better job, I have a few businesses, might need to invest into a proper takeaway shop locally.

I have been coming here every day for over a month. I don't even cook dinner at home anymore, the grilled wings are divine. Most of the time it's chef Ilyas that cooks it for me. 10/10

This kebab shop serves excellent food, my mother is fan of their food and often asks me to get her a shish kebab. The guys in there have a long day and yet maintain a sense of generosity. Thanks guys

Absolutely awful customer service! The food was mediocre. Would not recommend this place. When calling the restaurant the person who answered the phone was extremely confrontational. Called again and was told that the driver had tried to phone me multiple times. This was a complete lie. In the end, the food was delivered to us - well walked to us- with a plastic bag not even an insulated one. Personally, I would steer clear of this place until they have some actual customer service in place.

A staff was so rude ad refuse to admit even when co staff apologized for his deed as he’s been color preference. This got to me so badly.

The food here was good, I can’t fault the food but the customer service here is terrible which is why I have given a low score. My order was taking a lot longer than it should have done so I asked the staff where my order was and they said they have given it to me. Turns out they gave my order to someone else and then accused me of lying about not getting my food. They made me another which they gave to me but rather than apologising they got confrontational and started shouting at me in front of a dozen other customers. This made me feel quite uncomfortable, completely unjust and it’s not good customer service. I will now go to one of their competitors a few doors down who look after their customers properly.

We ordered kebab yesterday and the food was disgusting. Everything put together in a one box, hot meat and lettuce and sauces. When it came it looked like someone already ate it and threw up. My son had stomachache and diarrhoea all night. Guys you need to pull your socks up if you want to keep this place open.

I visit once a week to Chelmsford take away, grilled wings with fries has become my favourite. I stopped eating donner after trying grilled wings. Today a special mention that they served in plates unlike to go boxes earlier. Really they loved the taste, hospitality and the way they decorated the plate with food. Will not try other items I think, became big fan of this plate.

Very tasty Kebab Platter for Two Chicken doner, lamb doner, 1 skewer lamb shish, 1 skewer chicken shish, 1 skewer Adana, kaburga (ribs) (4 pcs), lamb chops (4 pcs) & (7 pcs chicken wings). This plater is for 39 pounds. Although they say for 2 people it is enough for 4 people. Salad and dips. Worth the price.

The staff we encountered today was rude and were racist. Foul language was used by staff when asked about a small doubt in Menu. Very unpleasant experience

Pretty disappointed ☹️ i think i got someone's leftover. When i opened the box there was about 5 pieces of meat overall and some were ripped apart. I also found random peas and sweetcorn in the rice and i didnt get the sauce i ordered but other 2 which one was definitely off and to top it off it was all cold. i unknowingly gave a tip too 🤦‍♀️ The bread was great tho

Best kebab in town.i I became very ill after a kebab a few doors down the sevice and the food and amount you get from here is very generous nothing is to much for the friendly staff and all excellent products thank you

Excellent burgers, lamb donner wasn't the best I've had, if you are going for donner, chicken donner is much better than the lamb.

The Lamb spare ribs were disgusting. Mostly fat. What meat there was, very little, was unedible! The baclava looked nice but tasted of stale grill fat at the bottom. Won't be ordering from here again. Delivery was ok and something similar to a houmous, was nice!

Best place for a kebab if you are near the station. Had several doner kebabs from here and they are always delicious. The salad is particularly fresh and well prepared. Doner meat always tasty and juicy.

Came in today after a long shift and ordered chips and chicken. The guy behind the counter guided me to a better deal, and had my food ready quickly, hot and it was delicious. Thanks guys

Wrap was soaking in oil so sick of it why do they think people want to consume all this oil now it’s all over my clothes after one bite it’s been thrown away what a waste of £15 and I’m still starving. Spend so much money in here but will be going elsewhere from now.

Food was okay.. sometimes it's very tasty and sometimes I feel food is under cooked.. Generous portions.. you can easily eat two people for one portion.

Went in Chelmsford Takeaway today for first time after work. I order Chicken Doner Kebab (Small) with other side. Taste is so outstanding and perfect cooking! The staff guy is very kindest offering me a free bottle. Will visit Chelmsford Takeaway again and now time to avoided Westend City! 10/10 (thump up)

Placed a order on new years eve paid via deliveroo the food never arrived when calling the line is constantly busy really disappointed and furthermore I'm hungry and out of pocket disgusting

Absolutely terrible , I usually use this company but not no more, I called to see where my order was after an hour of waiting I was spoken too so rudely telling me it's gona be another 40mins as they are busy and they couldn't tell me when to expect and they put the phone down on me!!! Another 40mins still later still hadn't arrived and I tried calling them for a good 20/30mins and they had taken their phone off the hook so no one could get through to them!!! Absolutely disgusted with them no way to treat customers they should be ashamed of themselves. Nearly two hours u waited and the poxy order was shocking and wrong!!!

This place has got one of the best Kebabs. We have been having Chicken Kebab with Rice & it is delicious & tasty. The portions are large enough to fill one up. Customer service is also 👍 great. Highly recommend.

Such a shame that Chelmsford Takeaway is starting to go a bit downhill. It was our favorite go to Takeaway using the Uber eats app. The last 2 orders within 7 days have both arrived with items missing from the order both times being the Turkish bread which is a shame when the orders are for Kebabs. They did send some out last week but this week the order took well over an hour to arrive and the standard of the food is going down. We used to get the rice meat and salad all in one container and a fair amount for the price which is not cheap by any means. But lately the portions come in separate containers and much less for your money. This last order was just under £32 for 2 Kebabs and a potion of wedges. It is a shame as we do like to support local business and have used this Takeaway all through the lockdowns. They probably won't read or reply to this review but just be aware that it's not as good as it used to be.

Honestly, for a late night halloumi wrap it's probably better than the local competition. Also the staff are nice and seems reasonably priced.

Me and my boyfriend had food from hear twice I had burger and chips from hear twice two much tomato sauce In the burger and chips wernt cooked properly the burger tasted rubbery made me and my boyfriend both I'll won't be ordering hear again

Great tasting food, we had a kebab platter for two which was amazing served on a bed of rice, portion size was great would have fed three people easily plus all the accompaniments sauces dips salad and a lovely Turkish bread all well presented

Food's great, it's not a cheap meal (Turkish takeaway isn't cheap around Chelmsford, it's much cheaper in London) but it was tasty. A meal for two with a shared starter, 2 mains and 1 shared dessert came to £32 with us picking it up, which is 10% cheaper than delivery. Premises looked nice and clean, food was fresh, hot, tasty and good portions.

Do not order. Waited 1.30m just to receive chicken covered in lamb fat which was disgusting. Yohurtlu chicken shish... Looked like someone vomited it to the tray. Burned all over and everything soaked in grease feom it. You could easly pour half of a glass of fat feom just this dish. Avoid. Upon complain to rhe restaurant they shouted at me saying its a chicken covered in lamb fat just because and hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN
