Bombay Cuisine in Chelmsford

3 piece's of tinny chewy lamb in my curry, all sauce not meat, and u pay more for lamb. No mushrooms in the mushroom rice either, jokers

First time ordering from here as always dubious ordering an Indian but I definitely made the correct decision, amazing food, probably one of the best Indian cuisines I've ever had, so much flavour, good portions, delivery guy was great. If you're after an Indian dinner in Chelmsford then these are the go to. Absolutely delicious.

Ordered delivery, when it arrived the food was cold and the food was very bland. No taste to the Bombay potato, the chicken tikka starter was over cooked, the plain naan was like rubber. All in all it was a waste of my money

Always had great food from here and last night was no exception. Amazing butter chicken, Jalfezi, Bombay chicken and side dishes. Plenty of meat, extremely tasty, and delivered hot. Thank you 👍🏻

Honestly, one of the best Indian takeaways we have had in Chelmsford. Being a northern lass, the standard for a good curry is quite high and this is one of the only places that fits the bill and does not cost an arm and a leg! Think we have found our new local as we were more than happy with our food. Arrived on time, packaged well, tasted delicious no hassle.

Food wasn't that good for tbe price which is out of this world. Won't be eating there again

Best Indian takeaway in Chelmsford

Impossible to place an order. Tried ordering on Justeat, but it doesn't go through. Tried calling restaurant directly, but they don't answer the phone. Hopeless!

Fantastic food & brilliant service. There was a slight issue our order however Mohan rectified this for us with great customer service. Would highly recommend Bombay Cuisine in Chelmsford!

For one, their Indian cuisine is second to none, but for two, they now do gormet burgers and piri piri chicken that easily rival 5 guys and nandos. But the price and service surpasses both combined.

The person who catered for us was very friendly and kind to help us with our choice. We was also interested in talking with us and spend time with us. The food was delicious!!! Both enough quantity and great quality. I ate chicken biryani!

Got to be the worst Indian meal I have had in a long long time. First and last time I ever eat from here. Had 3 mains and all tasted the same, seemed like all the meals were cooked from a burnt pan. Seemed like to add flavour that just threw in chilli and garlic.... 3 people tried to eat and all 3 decided to have a frozen pizza Never again

Have eaten here a few times now, and usually give a higher rating, but the food was really disappointing this time around. - Vegetable Korma was mostly onion with very few other bits of veg in. - Paratha was undercooked and doughy. - They charge £3.50 for 2 tiny little samosas. Honestly, they were so small I genuinely thought they’d forgotten to put a couple more in. - Dahi Paneer was basically about 6 tiny cubes of paneer, swimming in a box of sauce (I won’t order it again). - Ordered mango chutney and for the second time I was sent a mint dip. Not sure what was up this week, but it wasn’t too enjoyable. They’re usually quite good, so hopefully this was just a dodgy week.

Food was amazing , fresh and hot definitely the best in Chelmsford.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Chelmsford. Always fresh and delicious food. Order direct as you get a bigger discount than just eat! Really lovely people there too, polite, helpful and friendly. Excellent value, highly recommended.

Food came really quick for a Friday night and was hot and fresh. Tried a few different Indians the last few months but this is the first one in a while I really enjoyed! All the dishes were tasty. The only tiny niggle were the samosa were tiny and you only get 2, made worse by the fact it was really tasty so it just wasn't enough! Everything was well packaged, no leaks anywhere.

Great food, generous portions and all perfectly cooked, by far the best in Chelmsford.

So, pay £33 for a delivery, food not packed properly, leakage as no plastic bag, (driver said they forgot the bag, soz) one curry missing ! Called to tell them and got the curry delivered 30 minutes later !! Of course rest of the food now stone cold, seriously not impressed at all !

Right. I tried this a while back and didn't like it however a friend of mine told me it changed hands. I'm glad I gave it another chance! Food was perfect. Keema rice was spot on. The Tandoori mixed grill. Perfect moist and tasty. Chicken garlic chilli Tikka massala is the one to try for those with the sense of adventure. Now I'm not going to bore you with the rest we had round the table let's just say I'm going back next payday!

The food arrived on time and the order process was simple through Just Eat. The food in the bag was a mess. The chicken Korma had been squashed and exploded onto everything else. The food itself did taste nice. The company should consider being more mindful of how they pack the food to ensure that this doesn't happen.

We have ordered here many times before but they really let us down tonight. We waited well over an hour for delivery. When the food arrived it was cold. The nan bread had gone soggy and tough and chips were inedible. They also bought the wrong drink that I paid £3:50 for. We have tried to contact them but there was no answer. Such a shame. Will not be eating here again.

After being fobbed off when i called to ask where food was and having waited an hour + half for it to arrive-it wasnt too bad. Just a shame we had to play a game of guess the dish as they had been mislabled and the 'parathas' were more 'naan' Luckily no one suffers from allergies otherwise there could have been a serious problem! Overall i wouldnt order from here again

Moved to chelmsford and looked for a Indian takeaway and the bombay cuisine did not disappoint! we ordered via just eat. Food was delivered on time, was fresh and tasted delicious. Everyone was happy. Lovely crispy onion bhajees. We recommend the Dhansak & the Tikka Naga :)
