Pancakes were amazing as always, light and fluffy, staff lovely and atmosphere. Highly recommend . We come here weekly x

Food was delicious but really disappointed with the lack of drinks available considering we came an hour after opening and the service . No Chai latter, no matcha latte, no milkshakes apart from one flavour also quite a bit of food unavailable too. We had to wait 30 minutes for our order to be taken and we weren't told of these missing items when we were seated. Then food came out 40 minutes after that and missing parts that we ordered. It's such a shame as we travelled 25 minutes to come.

Menu has changed since my last visit at the end of December 2024. Choices seem a little fussier than they were, not in keeping with the coffee shop vibe. It was still ohhh so cold in there - have never been there yet when it has been warm! Food was OK, but it did tend to go cold quickly. We decamped to a nearby coffee shop, after an hour as we were all so cold.

Met a friend here for brunch. Great story and always good to support local businesses.Lovely fresh and clean decor.Friendly and welcoming staff.A lovely vibe to the place.Great menu and the food was awesome.Super tasty and nicely presented.

I have been before and loved the atmosphere and the food This time unfortunately was different Freezing cold inside, could do with a freshen up and clean Food came out and was hot for a second and cooled very quickly due to the cafe being so cold The music was far too loud and could hardly hear each other to have a chat Disappointed

Had a lovely time with my friend for her birthday treat. Festive sandwich was lovely . Cadee, Channel and Sophie all did a great job serving when it was very busy ! We will be back.

The food is amazing & the decor is gorgeous . Unfortunately, it is the most noisy cafe I have ever been to. The music is almost deafening, and the soundproofing is non-existent. What could have been a lovely brunch was pretty much ruined as I could barely hear what any of my friends were saying. I would eat here every day of the week if they only turned the noise down a bit, cafe chatter is much more pleasing to the ear than whatever was playing when we were there. How about offering quiet times during the week, I'm sure it would be appreciated as you really do have the most amazing food, and I'd love to come back but I don't think my ears could stand it

What happened to a fabulous little cafe. Uninterested staff, items forgotten, toast that was actually just bread, dirty floors and stains on all the walls. Won’t be going back in a hurry

Nice place and atmosphere but overpriced for what I had. I popped in for just a cup of tea and 2 pieces of toast. The price was £7. I should have gone for a full breakfast

Menu change is a bit underwhelming and the Avocado on toast portion was so tiny. Could do with a bit of a clean and freshen up inside. Hot chocolate was nice and kids corner is really cute though.

Nice coffee, friendly staff but I thought a small baby hot chocolate for £3 same price as the flat white. Is not very justified. ( espresso cup) Toilet seat broken btw and a bit of freshener in the toilet will be nice as nappy smell. I ordered a feta toast which again a bit light for the price. I know everything goes up etc but things need to be balanced. Price, portions aand quality. (Just giving feedback)

Yesterday I visited the GCK to celebrate my mums birthday with some fellow family and friends. We booked an Afternoon tea in advance which was FANTASTIC! When we arrived, the table was dressed with flowers and a table runner. Half of our party are vegan and the options were incredible! In addition to this Chantelle and Roz were an absolute credit to the business and their service was second to none. I will certainly be recommending this place to everyone!

I really used to really like the game changer kitchen, it is still nice but I think it’s overpriced for what it is now. I had a breakfast burrito which comes just the wrap and it 9.50 which is quite a lot for something that small in my eyes with no sides either. The wraps were quick to come out though. Also we took some cakes away and they weren’t up to the same standard as they usually were too. We have a brownie and a rocky road which was dry and crumbly. Might have just been an off day as they’re usually pretty good.

Honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had . Great service, simply delicious. What a fantastic atmosphere too . We sampled the cakes on the way out ! Wish I’d brought some as I’m now drooling .

Visited Milton Keynes for a night to see a concert. Wanting a good breakfast before driving home I found here on Trip advisor. Lovely decor & a busy place that seems to be very popular. Great vibe & exceptional food all made fresh to order & well worth the slight wait. I absolutely love good food & would recommend anyone going to Milton Keynes to visit for breakfast, lunch or brunch

Great breakfast. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We hadn't booked a table but they managed to seat us without a problem.

Pretty to look at and lots of vegetarian options but thats the only postitives i have to say unfortunately Very average food, one of our dishes came missing an item and then took them another 10 minuites to bring it out. milkshakes were £5 small in size and completely tasteless and took half an hour to come! Understaffed as they were all working hard but people were waiting to be seated for a good 10-15 mins when there were clean tables available Such a shame as id much rather support small business but ive been here twice now and both times left very disappointed with service and food

First time I have been here for about 9 months and boy has it changed! I had scrambled eggs on toast and a latte. The small portion of eggs were just about warm as was the barely toasted bread! At £7.50 this is poor value. The latte (asked for it extra hot) was also just warm. Really disappointed at the drop in standards. Friendly staff and a nice ambience.

Good varied menu in a buzzing atmosphere. Great service by happy team. Food never disappoints. Pancakes are stunning.

The coffee and the food as always amazing the only think that we don’t like is that is a little bit cold inside and we kept our coats on

Ordered 2 full English breakfasts…45mins later I had to ask where our food was, which promptly appeared…obviously sat on a hot plate and forgotten about. A shame as the food was tasty and waiting staff friendly and polite….just a shame no one noticed we had sat there for 45mins with no food in front of us. Also, absolutely freezing cold…only one small heater in a cold room. People were dining with hats & coats on.

Great food. The breakfast burrito was amazing and well worth trying. Service could flow better. Drinks order was taken but didn’t arrive until after the food. From a service flow point of view would be nice to have the drinks out soon after ordering. I do like it here, and get why it’s so popular - some service improvements would make it better.

Lovely food, but was charged £29.00 for a £7.00 bottle of Prosecco from tesco, (assuming it wasn't purchased in their 6 bottles -25% off offer!) I appreciate there is a mark up on all alcohol in restaurants but I found this offensive .

Just found this little gem of a cafe today. It was packed and had a few groups waiting for a table at 12noon on a Sunday. Luckily I was a party of 2 so was seated quickly. Had a slice of cake and cup of tea. Cake was very nice, home made too. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing. A great place to pop into for just a drink or something more substantial as menu looked interesting and food delicious. I will come back when I'm next in the area

I managed to book a table for birthday brunch, the place was very busy and the staff were busy and quite in demand. I was quite disappointed that it took an hour to create poached egg on toast. I had to leave with it takeaway and still didn’t manage to eat it. The place looked overwhelmed and people were waiting for a very long period of time for breakfast/brunch. The staff were very apologetic and friendly although I’ve never had to wait that long for food even in a busy restaurant.

Came in with my mum for some Brunh and a catch up before Christmas. Definitely recommend the breakfast burrito. Lovly food and drink definitely worth the wait.

Cafe is too cold, no proper heating only small electric heaters that warm one table, the English breakfast baked beans were served cold. Some menu items not available, very small glasses for cold drinks only suitable for small children.

Great food, loved the full English. Nice meat, good scrambled! A bit slow but it was full so I can't fault them. Service was on point and the poor girls were running almost. Will return

The food here is lovely, staff are very friendly and polite. The food takes a while to come out which is understandable as they are often busy, and the quality of food does somewhat make up for this. Big downside is that this place is very noisy, every time I’ve visited it is full of screaming children. I understand this is a place that people meet up with and bring their children however it does put people off from returning as you cannot hear yourselves speak. Parking is often unavailable as well.

An intimate space with nice decor, although low cost utensils (plates from wilko) demonstrating the need for high returns, rather than quality for customers. There are lots of options on the menu to swap and change, and seemed a bit confusing, again, cost saving, rather than printing a separate line on the menu. Yet, there were five servers and they seemed to be doing, pretty much nothing, adding extra unnecessary costs, reducing the profit margins! Not sure about the logic there, as the kitchen was slow with food (came out after the tea had already turned cold), so the servers/waiters really don't have anything else to do. There wasn't even a smile from them as they pottered around. Finally, when told that the tea had gone cold. There seemed to be an attitude that, the customers should just buy another tea as, "always get the drinks as fast as possible", but this didn't come with much warning that the food would take over half an hour to arrive. Busy place with bricks and low roof, making the sound bounce around everywhere. There is a toddler playing area which is great.

The food was great. Loads of gluten free options and the staff were very friendly. The service was fast considering how busy it was. Unfortunately it was way too loud due to the children’s play area so I don’t think I would return

I've been here twice before and can highly recommend their cakes, but today I had the veggie breakfast. Its the best breakfast I've ever experienced. It was faultless. There is a good reason why it's always busy here. They need bigger premises to meet demand....

Great family restaurant with breakfast and lunch menus, coffees next to a gym and with a soft play area for young kids. The espresso was good, they are very accommodating with special dietary requests.

Fantastic breakfast here. Went as a family of 6 and had to queue but not for long - the staff seem to have worked out how to accommodate people quickly. We all loved our food and drinks. Hope to come back soon.
